Light flickered through the treetops as Xena padded closer to the creek. Her brindle coat blended in with the light and dark shadows. She was exhausted, after leaving her last place in a hurry when people chased her out. She laid down in the shade just next to the creek and pricked her ears up. It was quiet, except for the faint noise made by the low water slipping between rocks. So far, she had not met any other dogs, which was fine with her, and meant she might be able to hunt here in peace.
As she lay there, thoughts flooded her mind as she finally relaxed and sighed. She was sick of running, sick of fighting to live everywhere she went. After her mother and brothers were taken she had ran, ran as far as she could from the loud humans and cars. She didn't get far on her stubby puppy legs though. She had spent the next year and a half on the city streets trying to survive the aggressive dogs that roamed them also, and looking for food. But now, she was here, hopefully with a chance at a new life. A permanent home.
Xena rose and trotted over to the creek and lapped at the water that barely trickled. She would have to find another place if this was all there was going to be. All of a sudden birds flew out next to her, cackling and squabbling over the berries. She jumped sideways, startled, and then trotted on following the creek bed with her head low.
(Going to have to do for now, off to work my horses. Be back tonight maybe.)

** The male strutted down the street with a tune on his lips, humming the very same lullaby that Flutter, his adoptive mother, had always sung around the pups that his true dame had dumped upon her, his very own siblings, and they had grown up seeing the world through a pack's vision, the one their horrible father lived in. Malo. His sire was a cannibal, one who lured women in and then ate them, though Flutter had been lucky that he loved her, something that Justin did not understand, he only saw females as objects of pleasure, and as such, he didn't think they had neither feelings nor the same rights as he did. As he yawned his tongue flopped out, probably due to the immense heat, something his fluffy silver upon ivory coat did not help with, but as he took in a deep breath of the summer zephyr, something strange had tinted the air. No, not really weird, but something that would make him drool if he was in her presence, a girl, all wrapped up and pretty just for him, as his papa would say, something that made a shudder of pleasure ripple through his spine, slender paws dancing over the heated soil as he headed towards her approximate location. His erect ears flickered around as he tried to pinpoint where she was, the nearby source of water not helping, seeing as how it drowned her fragrance away, one of nature's ways to frustrate him and his libido when it should be assisting him in capturing some gorgeous ladies.
** Though it didn't him very long with these trained senses of his, considering how all he did was practice and capture chicks with them, he never did work at the pack lands, like hunting and stuff, nope, he was just too lazy and thought he was better than everyone else so didn't consider himself a part of the help crew. He smirked with such arrogance as he placed his ice blue eyes upon the beautifully petite mutt that was lapping from the water, and as he stared her down, he cleared his throat with a waggle of his flirtatious brows, purring out upon deep tenor chords, “Hey baby, whatchu doin' out here all by yourself? No place for a little lady like you, gettin' in all sorts of trouble, hm?” The Husky mix stalked forward, his leanly muscled chest pushed out with confidence as the grass tickled his ankles, the bad boy aura all around him obviously telling the stranger that perhaps he wasn't the best guy to be associating with. Now he was barely a yard away from her, able to take in the sweet odor that she emitted, and with a low bark of seduction, he elegantly seated himself upon his haunches, semi-curled tail wrapping around his flank as he flashed her yet another lopsided grin, locking his gaze with her own. He had never seen her around Saddle Creek before, which was saying something since he had slept with nearly all of the female population within his age group, and she didn't seem to be far from it, so it was only polite of him to… introduce her to this game.

Xena stopped in her tracks as a large, beautiful male stepped into the path in front of her. Her hackles immediately went up and she bared her teeth. This was her first reaction to any dog, and usually the next was her rushing them and putting them on the ground. But something stopped her now. He was large, and handsome, yet her female instincts told her he was still just a very young dog. His arrogant attitude was already irritating her though, and made her want to pummel him. But she restrained herself. As he sat in front of her she took a step backwards and snarled. "Who are you." she demanded. She was about ready to jump out of her skin, and the pink scar on her nose was wrinkled up. You could see every one of her teeth and her tail was no longer held low - instead it was up over her back. 'I'm in no mood for a fight today.'she thought to herself. She quickly thought of how she could leave from here. 'No, I'm not leaving, I've never backed down before.' She backed up another step to put more distance between herself and this new male. She didn't trust him. No normal pup would saunter up to another adult like that where she came from - especially not a stranger. He was cocky, but she couldn't draw her eyes away from his. They were a cold ice blue. They drew her in in a way that made her shudder. She hated it, hated that feeling, and it made her hackles raise even more. "What do you want. she demanded from him again. "And don't call me little lady or I'll rip your ear off." She circled around him, becoming even more aggressive the longer he sat there.

** The cocky male paused in his tracks when the female in front of him started to snarl at his presence, oh how antisocial, something he rolled his frozen azure voids at, tail lashing out viciously, he liked attention, be it negative or positive, and she sure as hell wasn’t going to drive him away. His evil father had taken some time out of his busy day to teach the yearling how to fight as a means of defending himself and rescuing damsels in distress so he could take advantage of them later on, but no one really took into account that Justin was leaner than he was muscled, and as such was swifter than most, but not as brawny. He feigned some fear, acting as if he was actually sensing threat in her tone, though he couldn't hold it for very long, for he started snickering like the practical young man he was, not able to take life seriously because he had been spoiled all of his time on this earth. Never had he gotten his paws dirty with hard work, and in his mind it was fair, seeing as how he was better than everyone else, so as he grazed his eyes once more over the mutt, he sneered, stating, “Now you’re just one hot mess, aren't ya?” His words were mocking, as if calling her some unattractive canine that he had met, when in truth he did have to admit that she was pretty cute, though it wasn’t like his pride would ever allow him to complement someone who was trying to deem him irresponsible, which was obviously true.
** The stranger yapped at him, demanding that he tell her who he was, and he sat down with a snort, quirking a brow as he cooed, “Come on babe, no need to be so hasty, let fate take its course.” He yawned widely and without a care as he felt the light breeze ruffle his bi-toned coat, and after that had occurred was when he grinned, such a charming smile, answering her with, “The name's Justin, don't wear it out.” She started to pace around as one of his ears flickered back, his eyes watching her every movement with amusement, glad that he could stir some reaction from her, cause a little mayhem in the world just with his presence, though soon enough she questioned what he was even doing here, and that inquiry did make him think a bit. He sat there silently, listening to the nature around him for once before shrugging those svelte shoulders, chuckling out relaxedly, “I don't have a clue, just looking for a chat, maybe a little lovin'~” The Husky mix didn't really worry as she circled him with a violent promise of scarring, and he laughed, teasing with, “Can't call you much when I don't know your name, babe. So until you do, little lady seems perfectly fine.” Oh he loved tugging on the strings of everyone's self-control, he just wanted to see how far he could push this girl before she went crazy with how annoying he was, and as he stared at the creek she had been drinking at, the boy ushering his head towards it as he said with a bored voice, “You new around here? Most don't drink from the creek when they know all the spots around town.”

Obviously Justin was not leaving, so Xena stopped and stood there. She lowered her tail and stopped snarling but her hackles remained up, her short thick coat making a dark brown line all the way down her back. She didn't know what to do know. Attacking him, in this new place, would be stupid. She didn't know where she could go - even though she could find out it would be better to just go along and see what she was dealing with here. There was no harm in telling him her name though. "Xena," she said curtly. "What do you mean the town?" she asked him.
She narrowed her eyes watching him. If you saw him at a distance you'd never know he was a pup. He was quite handsome in fact. He smelled nothing like the forest that she was in right now. In fact she smelled even more dogs on him and the scent made her tense up more. What was wrong with her, she thought. One minute she hated him and wanted him to just leave, and the next she was looking over his smooth coat and muscular body. She shook her head. 'Stop thinking like that.' she screamed at herself in her head. "Why do you smell like all of those dogs. Are there more?" she asked him carefully.

** The boy was sort of glad that the girl had calmed down a bit, something that allowed a faint breath of exhaled oxygen to leave his maw, watching as she still remained on guard, though that was acceptable, seeing as how he was a rather loud stranger who had waltzed in out of nowhere. There was this harsh and awkward silence between them as their eyes connected, her short brindled fur making her cocoa eyes seem even more vibrant, but his own mask of white around his irises helped to push out the near electric blue that they were, a battle of two opposite colors that clashed pleasantly in the minds of the owners. He liked talking to pretty girls like this stranger, though he knew they would have a bit more fun in this encounter seeing as how she wasn't some ditsy slut, she actually had a brain and was choosing to use it, and he had to admit, she was almost as amazing as he was, but then again, no one ever got close, a thought that made him smirk, tail thumping against the ground. Finally, after some prodding, the mutt decided to bless the curious Husky mix with her name, one that made him automatically think of some sort of warrior, perhaps she had been one of those fighting dogs that he heard his alpha talk about? Nah, she didn't look like the sort, but it was obvious that she had been in her fair share of fights on the street, meaning she was no newbie to the stray life, like him, who had been born into it, though his upbringing had been easier with a pack.
** Xena then proceeded to question him about the town, and he let out a teasing groan, grinning as he stood up and trotted over to her with a laugh, stating with humor, “Well, that answers my question, you definitely are not from around these parts, are you? Just a mile or so from here is the town, Saddle Creek, named after this thing you're drinking from, and it has all the stuff any mutts like us could wish for, food, shelter, companionship.” It was amazing, Justin was actually being helpful and considerate for once, a shocker indeed, only for her to then mention something about his scent, turning his head to sniff his shoulder and notice there were many fragrances of other females and his own pack members on his soft coat. At the query of more dogs, he snickered, bobbing his head along the way, barely able to contain himself as he commented, “Yeah babe, there's a ton more, the question should be, is there a way to get rid of them all? So many dogs around these parts it's like walking through an ocean of seaweed. Plus I smell like I do 'cause my pa is in this pack, and his girlfriend took us in when we were pups, but I never left once I got old enough 'cause I don't feel like having to work for my food. I would much rather be having chats with pretty ladies like yourself, much more up my alley.” He stood up in a flurry, turning his back to her as he started walking towards the dense forest, calling out without a single care, “If you wanna see the town for yourself, follow me, if you wanna starve out here without a chance of anyone saving you, stay there, I don't really care.”

Xena still wasn't sure about the sudden presence of the male, but she really only had two choices. Either stay here, alone, in this quiet forest, or follow him. The least she could do was at least see this town he was talking about and find out more about her surroundings. She was confident that she could take care of herself, as she had done her whole life, so there was nothing to stop her, except those icy blue eyes that threatened to drag her in. Something about them still made her nervous though, something deep inside them that was dark. 'Stop that' she said to herself. 'This is the only way I'll have a chance of getting into the town.'
"I won't starve," she growled. "I'm not a lazy mutt like you" she muttered. She had taken another step back when the large male got close to her, but now she followed him into the thick cover. She kept a healthy distance between them though, and moved quietly through the shadows patterning the leafy bottom. Suddenly it didn't seem like she was so alone. Sure, she didn't exactly love this new dog, but at least there was companionship and a voice to talk to. The serene, peaceful feeling she had had before he showed up was almost in reach again, but no matter what she did her hair remained standing. Her aggressive nature always won. As she followed him she thought of her family that she had lost again. Maybe this was a new start to her life? Maybe this was where she could have something like a family again, where that empty spot in her heart could be filled again. It had been a long time since she met another dog she genuinely liked. But forget about that. She hadn't even made it to this town yet. She hated daydreaming, but the longer she spent on her own, the more it caught her by surprise.
"Well, you seem like you think you're just a great big tough guy." she said quietly. Her sweet voice barely penetrated through the thick forest, and belied her usual harsh attitude. "Why do you have to be like that. You're so young and yet you just sauntered in and expected me to roll over and be a like a little doll. Life's just a little fairytale to you isn't it. Xena narrowed her eyes at him, seeing how much he would actually reveal about himself, and if he would snap or control himself.

** As the male strode through the forest, he heard the female behind him grumpily mumble something that his sensitive ears picked up on as he snorted, feigning hurt as he let out a mocking sniffle, only to then burst out in guffaw as he cawed, “Me, lazy? I wonder why you would think that.” It was obvious that he was very full of himself, and not in a healthy manner either, the height that he placed himself at was rather disgusting, seeing as he would kill even a pup if it meant it would benefit himself, he really had no heart, just as horrible as his cannibalistic father. Justin glanced over at her with curiosity, glacier-like eyes noticing how deep in thought she was, so he took it upon himself to clear this silent air by blessing it with his tenor voice, just chatting about random things with himself, heard as, “Now ain't you lucky, Jus? Find a hot gal but she doesn't wanna sleep with you, how sad, but she’ll crack, they all do at one point.” He then turned his guise to face her as he playfully waggled his brows, tail curling over the expanse of his back like his most prominent breed, the Siberian Husky that his mother was, and as he saw the glimpse of a building peeking over the horizon, he monotonely added as if it bored him to say it, “We’re almost there.”
** As they neared the front gates of Saddle Creek, that was when Xena snapped out at him, speaking the harsh truth about him, and while most other dogs would have tried to defend themselves or spilled some sob story, or maybe insult her back, he just merely yawned out of disinterest, stating bluntly, “Yup.” He was amazing and he knew it, and the only point he had in living was to sleep with as many girls as he could, because it was the only thing he found that was fun, not to mention that he really didn’t have a father figure to tell him right from wrong, the guy barely cared about them, and as such he learned to show the same for all those around him. When his cold eyes landed on his companion once more, he noticed that she wasn’t that old either, probably only a year older than he was, and that wasn’t much for her to be talking, to which he casually mentioned, “Don’t act all wise on me either, lady. You ain't old and experienced just yet when you’re nearly my age. I shouldn't take life like a fairy tale and you shouldn't take life like a horror story, loosen up.” Now he had a pout on his lips as he strode forward, and perhaps there was a bit of truth in his words, some advice for her, since all she was doing by being so rail-stiff would be to give her stress, and as he grinned at the sight of the town, he announced, “This here is Saddle Creek, take a look, told you there were a lot of others.” It was true, many dogs were bustling around, some chatting, napping, eating, pretty much doing anything, not even paying heed to the two canines by the door, and when he took a step forward, the brute added, “You probably need a place to stay, so if you want, I can show you a place that ain't too crowded, or I can bring you to the pack, up to you.” Jeez, what was up with him being nice? It was disgusting him.

Tara was not in the best of moods today. She and her pack tried, and tried, to communicate with any ex Mafia members. So far she was not having any success with finding any of those dirt bags. Tara and Blake were not the ones who started this rivalry exactly, but haters are going to hate,so they figured they might as well name something out it. The tri colored aussie paused only momentarily before continuing on her path towards the center of Saddle Creek. Where everything began. Where Tara and Blake first began their loyalties and rumors about this town. Tara and Blake brought fear and trouble along with them, and everyone knew who this couple was. Not romantic, but brother and sister trouble brewing. Tara turned around to check on her brother as she left him with the pack, she didn't know how long she would be gone, a day at the most, but nothing more than that. Since Tara and Blake were very close, closer than most brother and sister, the two liked to keep tabs on each other. She sighed and winked, shaking her jet black sleek pelt, chucking and awaiting her adventure to come in the heart of this little, lonely town. There had been a lot of new comers, perhaps she could try and persuade the purebred tough ones that she evaluated to come and join her rankings, and make sure that the Mafians would be out numbered. Tara padded her way along the dusty road, her feathery tail wagging slightly as it was held higher before her rump, in a delicate wave to support her ego.
Oh yes, Tara had an ego. And it was supported by her large pack, and the fact that her male addiction was harder every time she went into town. Tara would slink throughout the city so no one could spot the dame, but most did and it was quite annoying when she found drooling followers. Tara then would U turn back to her pack grounds, but she usually lost them within five feet on the territory line. Most scared, some just loyal loners to themselves like Tara and Blake were before they ruled Saddle Creek's minds. Well, not literally, but mostly she could hear her or her brothers name in someone's conversation, and she could only grin her evil, sexy grin as she passed by. Most canines were oblivious to who passed by them and who started a conversation, but not Tara. Tara usually got the dogs ID before she started a conversation, and it was called scent. Dogs pick up on everything before they speak, and they use their ears the second after their eyes occasionally, most dogs in saddle creek only used their eyes, and for some time it ticked Tara off. Where was the real dog instincts in them? Tara was used to the proper canines in britian, but America was just not the same.
Sometimes the though made her homesick, other times she was glad to be in America because it put her on the smarter side of these canines. So it only made sense that she should be the leader of these no good mutts. Well, she wouldn't say no good, but lesser of importance and smarter than most. Tara and Blake had better accents. In her opinion. Most dogs she had met had a certain kind of American way of speaking that wasn't attractive to most at all. If it was, you were just messed up. Just messed up. Tara shook her beautifully laid out fur, delicately and lady like to put on a show as she finally got herself into town. It looked like usual, the chattery bunch, the loners, and the weird dogs all had their parts of the town center. The hustle and bustle made Tara itch. Itch for rulership of these ratty canines. There were a few that attracted her sexual part, the only sane part about her. Her mentality and insanity was just a about as bad as Einstein, the human, but yes, Tara figured herself to be just about a canine version of Einstein. As she padded past the group of chattering females, something caught her eye. At the beginning gate, where two canines stood, talking as if rivals, yet the rare kindness sprouting from the male's body language sprouting interest in the female. As Tara targeted in on her suspects, as the slowly started to move forwards, she passed the drooling group of brutes, calling out to her in seductive terms that Tara completely blocked out because of her intense mood.
As the beautiful aussie padded up, Tara snickered lightly and raised her eyebrows as she began to cook up her sarcasm for the chat. "Showing the new girl around, are we?" she smirked sarcastically, eyeing the pit bullish female, stocky and a bit younger than her, and then the more attractive figure brute, a husky, but as she sniffed the air, she could smell a familiar smell.. Something.. She couldn't pin point it. She would watch this one.

Xena stopped dead in her tracks as Justin spoke to her. Her hackles rose and she rushed him, looking right into his face. "Don't tell me to loosen up, or that my life wasn't a horror story." she snarled at him. She pushed her nose right into his throat. She knew that she was taking a serious chance, with all these other dogs around, and with not even knowing Justin. She knew that with his larger size, if something happened, she wouldn't just be in any other fight. But she didn't care anymore. She was sick and tired of being walked over by other dogs, and she had reached her breaking point now. All of the stress that had built up over her last few months of running and fighting had left her with a short fuse, and a nasty temper to go along with it. It had been a long time since she had felt truly settled and happy with other dogs and it looked like here wouldn't be it either unless she finally made it clear she did not want to be messed with. If it cost her her life, so be it. At least she would know she had fought for her happiness and a new home. All of these thoughts raced through her mind, every muscle and every hair tense on her body as she stared into his ice blue eyes. "I'm sick of your attitude." she growled at him. "I probably should have done something right in the beginning but instead I gave you the benefit of the doubt. But it's not happening anymore. Respect only comes from me if you deserve it, and if you don't, consider me being on your list of problems." Xena finally shoved her nose into him one last time, not biting, but making it clear that she wasn't kidding.
As she spun around to make her way back out, she only made it two steps before she saw the other female coming towards them. Even on a good day, other females were the lowest on her list to put up with, and now that her temper had fired up she was even moodier. She glared at her but didn't make any move forwards. She wasn't going to rush into any situation around here. She raised her nose slightly, smelling. The tri-color dog in front of her seemed like she was as annoying as they got, but then again, she thought most were. The air crackled between them as the two females faced each other and the male stood at the side. The next few moments could decide what happened between her and Justin, and, her entire future in this town.

** The male yawned in boredom as the woman complained about how he shouldn't tell her what to do, oh god he was tired of hearing everyone's sob stories, why couldn't they understand that he didn't care? He rolled his azure irises at her to show his boredom with all of her anger that was pouring from every single pore, flicking his tail to the side as he let out a guttural groan of annoyance, only for the dame to stick her snout right against his neck, making every vein that ran through him freeze. He hated it, absolutely despised it, when people got way too close to his vital hot spots, especially when it had nothing to do with love making or sex, if it was not done with a flare of passion, then no one was allowed to even lay a paw upon his frame. He knew this chick wasn't the flirty type, hell, she wasn't even the friendly type, so his mentality was already aware of the danger this possible encounter could bring, and as her cold nose touched the soft fur near his larynx, he let out a rippling growl, making the organ shudder. He stared down at her from his heightened position, his tone like acid as he spit out, “Don't touch me, I'll make you regret it.” As he started to pull away, he heard her threat, her words of demanding respect, and he right out laughed in her face, snorting back in reply with a rude comment, “Me? Respect you? You expect me to care if you respect me or not? From some little nobody trash mutt? Please, I don't need it, won't lose any sleep over it.”
** He rolled his eyes when he detached from her, feeling her shove once more into his neck, and really he didn't feel any fear or anything from it, just irritation, shoving himself away with a glare as he stalked off to the edge of the town. Though right as they got there it seemed as if she wanted to leave, and he was already glad with that statement, he didn't want her around anymore, she was getting on his arrogant nerves just as much as he was probably gnawing on her own, one of his ears tilting forward as a gorgeous Australian Shepherd made her way over to the pair. His grimace instantly turned into a charming smile as he did get his pleasant eyeful of this beautiful creature, though from the way he carried her he knew she was no dumb slut, so he would have to perhaps work his way into her heart, like he loved doing. He was surprised to hear an accent leave her lips, it made Justin all the more intrigued, embarking himself on a foreign quest as he purred in response to her query, “Nah baby, I don't like hangin' out with snappy bitches. She can't take a word like a pro. Now you-” The Husky mix took a step closer as his voice lowered, “I bet you're a ton of fun.”

Tara only heard a mild discussion, the female bitch looked like she was just about going to throw a fit at the younger husky. What was he doing to make her so cranky? Well, Tara didn't give a crap, she didn't care about this silly little dog and what was making her upset. Personally, Tara was glad she was in a bad mood, that way she didn't have to put on a mask for this show. There would be no show today. It would just be her real self, what she was born to be, kicking everyone's ass. Tara could care less what kind of dog you were, to her, it was strength and stamina for you mentally, and occasionally physically. When Tara approached, it had looked like the male might be the only show today. But when the stocky female caught onto that the aussie was approaching, she turned to face her. Tara snickered lightly, watching the younger male size her up and down, as she did the same to the bitch. Tara was definately not concerned for the husky, no, he would be pretty easy to maintain, but the female looked like she had attitude. Tara did not put up with females with attitude problems. Just like a year ago in the old general store, she had a mother's pup cling to her, which she could do nothing about really, and then some random girl just trotted up and started to attack her. What a git.
Tara eyed the female, wondering what to insult first. The sarcasm was very high on her scale, but even then Tara knew that rarely any female would like her. Should it be her breath? Her snippy little girl attitude? Or her seekingly large brute-like muscular figure? That would definitely yell slut to the males. Not. She looked like she didn't even like males. Nor females. Was this dog anti social? Damn. Must be a pretty hard life for this child, then. No family. No friends. Not that Tara had either, but she had a pack. That should definitely say something. Tara opened her trap to announce another, snarky comment as always. "Ahh, I see. Aye, you do seem uneasy, girl. Don't like the way these Americans try to seduce you? Not that you have experience, I'm sure not. she chuckled, eyeing the boy as he inched his way closer to her in a dead whisper. Tara's ears flickered to hear his voice, only smiling less than before. He had no idea. Fun? Oh yes, if that's what you'd like to call it. Fun. Enjoying the day as it was, Tara couldn't imagine anything more thrilling. "Oh yes doll, you can't imagine how thrilling my ride can be. Now, for you silly git, did you want to come into this social town? Or stay isolated, like you have been for the past, I'm guessing, six years of your life?" Ouh, Tara knew her accent would get her in tons of trouble with this girl. Oh well. Not like she could beat Tara up. Tara would love to watch her try.

Xena's temper was about to burst but she knew better than to just jump on this female. " Well aren't you just wonderfully welcoming." she said to her, her voice hiding her bad mood. " I'd just love to come visit your little town here." she said sweetly, curling her lips up slightly, her sarcasm coming out again. " This lovely boy Justin here was just going to show me around a few minutes ago." she turned to look at him and smiled. She could really care less what happened anymore, as long as she made it out alive everyone could hate her and she wouldn't care. In the back of her head she tried to picture where she was and how long it would take her to make her way to her only friend, an extremely large black shepherd. If anything happened she could just go to him and she would have a friend. Better than what she could make here by the looks of it. But who knows, maybe things could change. She glared at the female in front of her suddenly waiting for an answer. " You know it's really rude to just barge in and not introduce yourself." she snarled. {Sorry for the sucky post I'm just getting back into this again :/ I hate long breaks I lose everything }

** Okay it was safe to say that Justin was starting to lose interest in the both of them as they spewed words at one another, he liked living life on the fast lane, chasing after girls and taking them down even harder, but just standing here under the summer sun and listening to them yap? Yeah, not his favorite. He yawned in presentation of this absolutely enthralling conversation, where was the flirting and fiery passion? Though his attention was captured from staring at some passing Rough Collies when his name was uttered past the rubbery lips of the mutt, icy eyes glancing down as he grinned and purred out, “Lovely? I guess I could get used to that. But I must say I prefer sexy.” All malice had been dropped in the fraction of a second as he winked, he really didn't keep up grudges since he only believed they brought forth graying hairs that would completely clash with his spotless ivory and silver coat, a dull gray would never complement such beauty. Then Xena mentioned something to the Brit that had him holding back a snicker, she did have a point there, only to then tell her, “The name's Justin, and she's Xena. Now how 'bout you, baby?” Ears flickered around as he wiggled his toes in the dust, wanting to just continue on his damn tour, he didn't want to stand here all day, a sigh leaving him as his long tail curled half way, swishing against the high parts of his thighs.
** After a few more minutes of just mingling, the Siberian Husky mix couldn't hold it back as he stated bluntly, “As much as I'd love to stick around and chat, I don't have all day, so let's get going.” He started to trot forward only to glance over his shoulder at the pretty Aussie, adding, “You can tag along if you want, honey, I don't mind.” A wink was tossed with that snarky grin, lean muscles working to push him forward once more, shouldering his way past some canines, glancing at all the buildings nearby until he saw the bar, nearly clear eyes glittering with anticipation. He chuckled to himself and then stated rather loudly in his outgoing way, “Stale booze and torn chairs, what else can a dog dream for.” The young man then loped the rest of the distance until he was near the steps, escalating them with ease as he slinked his way beneath the paneled door, the powerful stench of blood, dirty glass, and rotten food swarming around his senses. It definitely wasn't paradise, but it was fun to hang out around here, just investigate what the lives of humans were like. He hopped up on to one of the raggedy cushions, in turn using that as leverage to launch himself on to the sturdy iron and wood surface, lying down as his head pressed against the cool furniture, splayed out all languidly as he just stared to the door, wondering if the pair of ladies were going to join him or not. He really didn't mind if they chose not to, or if they did, but some company would be pretty good, it was fun to mess around with strangers he was never going to encounter again.
