Lexa walked slowly, tired, so tired. Her eyes were nearly closed, and were stinging her, but she just couldn't sleep in the middle of the street. Walking from the town to the forest was a long walk, but it was worth it. Lexa didn't trust others, and she sure wouldn't trust others when sleeping. It's been awhile since she got to sleep a decent rest, and now it was finally getting to her. Yawning, her paws started to ache and an annoyed grunt escaped her mouth. She was pissed, she just wanted to sleep but no where seemed sutable. Walking a few more yards, her brown eyes caught sight of a huge tree. Grining the female headed towards the large planet. Her heart set on taking a nap underneath the comfort of it's limbs. The tree would give her shade as well as protect her from rain, and the tall grass around it would give her protection from others roaming around.
Finally she reached the holy tree. Nearly drained, the white dog dropped down in a heap of a white pile of fur. She gave herself a grunt, not even caring if her fur was in dirt or how messy she was going to get. Sleep. That's all she wanted. Good sleep. That's all she cared about. Her eyes closed as soon as she hit the ground. Her head was rested in the grass, as she laid on her side. Within seconds the female was sound asleep.

Dirt was thrown back in clumps as the collie ran, her paws digging into the earth. She was propelling herself forward as fast as she could, tearing up the earth behind her. For the last five minutes she'd been chasing this hare, and she wasn't about to let it get away. The female watched the tan lagomorph try desperately to escape, knowing that it was doomed to be her next meal now that she'd marked it as her target. Her eyes narrowed in determination, and as her body lurched forward, she opened her jaws, ready to snatch her prey up and end its life. It slid under a fence post as if it were lathered up with butter, but this didn't deter Pucker in the least. She exploded upward, kicking off the wooden fence and flying forward, landing on the ground with precision, and she continued to run. Eyes still narrowed, a smile crossed her face, and with one last push, she overtook the hare. Her jaws snapped around its neck, and she felt as its life left its body. She huffed, and with a weary smile, she carried her prize over to an old oak tree.
She collapsed onto the soft grass, and began to scarf down her meal. Her hunger satiated, she lay on her side and sprawled out, aching muscles stretching, eliciting a soft moan of relief from the southern belle. She drifted off into a peaceful sleep, dreaming sweet dreams about her old life. Not long after, however, the sound of paws padding toward her shook her from her daze. She bolted to her feet, and looked around on alert. Ears perked and tail high, she was ready for whatever was trying to sneak up on her. Narrowing her eyes, she called the other creature out. "Show yerself!" she drawled.

Underneath Lexa's body she felt vibrations of the earth moving from under her. The ground shook, and this movement woke up the white canine. Growling, she was pissed and ready to go. The smell of blood and dog filled her nostrils, and fear and aggression took over Lexa's veins. Leaping up to all four, her lip curled with a snarl and her voice was rough and raspy. What the hell? Who is around? Her vision was cloudy from just waking up so rapidly, but after a few blinks Lexa could see clearly. Looking around her, she saw a dog just a few feet away from her. Thanks for waking me up! You'd think you could let sleeping dogs lie, but apparently not! All Lexa's fur rised over her body, her head was lowered in a position of attacking, and a low snarl escaped her mouth.
You messed with the wrong gal! Lexa stood there was straight hate, straight anger and straight determination to make the female pay for waking her up. As she stood underneath the oak tree, a red leaf slowly fluttered down from it's large branches, where it fell down in front of the shepherd mix. Her golden eyes left the female that stood in front of her, and stared at the red leaf. Red? Like blood?... Red.. blood... A hideous snarl came from her throat, and Lexa's legs sprung out in front of her. Going airborne, her target was the female dog that woke her up.

The collie shivered, freezing air stealing the warmth from her body. True, her coat was starting to grow back in, but it was more of short plush than anything, which did nothing to protect her from the elements. Just as the dropping temperatures were stealing her comfort, this mongrel had decided to steal her relaxation. With a sigh of irritation, she narrowed her eyes at the female. "Ah never did like you prissy little bitches." she spat, lips curling back into a snarl. Oh, such a waste of an otherwise good day. If the white mutt's sudden show of anger hadn't provoked Pucker into an aggressive rage, she would've been a bit nervous. The closest she'd been to a fight was with the coyotes she had to scare away from the flock back home, and even then they backed off after a quick bite. The young herder had never been physical with an opponent her size.
Hackles raising, she bunched her muscles, preparing for anything her opponent was ready for. Inexperienced, and going on anger more than anything, she wasn't quite sure how things would play out, but she did know one thing: "...momma didn't raise no quitter..." she muttered under her breath. Everything seemed to slow down, and she watched as the white female sprang off of the ground, toward her. Using her speed to her advantage, she quickly ducked and bounced to the right, staring at her opponent with a little smirk. Eyes still narrowed on her target, her tail swished tauntingly behind her. "Now, now, let Aunt Puckie show you how things are done, darlin'." She stood there, head lowered, waiting for her opponent's next move. "Why waste mah energy, when she'll just tire herself out with her flighty lunges?"

Anger ran through her small body, she was pissed, and nothing was going to stopped this fight. Lexa shook her body, her white coat flying up and landing in places where it naturally wouldn't, showing her scars that covered her body. Her nose twitched in annoyance, as the collie's words escaped her mouth, but the words did not make it to Lexa's ears and only sounded like a mumble of distorted sound. Her attacked was dodged by the meral collie, and this only pissed Lexa off even more. Gathering herself up from the failed attack, the white creature growled with anger. Her body was tensed and her fur rise along her spine. Stupid bitch! Her voice was raspy from just waking up, and the words seemed to slur together as if she was intoxicated. Everything seemed slowed down, as if Father Time himself pressed pause.
Lexa took a deep breath as she stared at the female, head low and ready to strike with teeth showing. A low snarl escaped her jowls, as drool exited from her lips and fell into her chest fur. At this moment in time, looking sexy and attractive did not matter. Eyes were slanted and peering with hate, they burned with a golden fire in her pupils and the collie was her only target. Her legs tensed up, breathing in she was about to attack. Inhale. Exhale. As she breathed out, Lexa attacked. She once again went airborne but this time with more accuracy than before. She was quick and agile, and though the collie probably had more weight on her than Lexa, the white princess was a fighter. Mouth agape, she braced herself to hit the dog's body. She was sure that this time her attack was solid.
The weather was beautiful for being the end of Autumn, there was a slight chill in the air, but besides that it was lovely. The sky was a light blue, with a few fluffy white clouds in the sky. It wasn't a day to be fighting, but Lexa wasn't the type to be friendly on a lack of no sleep or towards female, so together it was called for a war. The wind seemed to pick up as the fighting got more aggressive, but Lexa took no notice to the wind, she was solely focusing on her target.

It was funny how a simple exchange of words had turned in to something more...lethal. She hadn't even been aware of the white fae's presence for five minutes, and yet, they were at one another's throats now. While Pucker usually wasn't the one to fight at such little provocation, she wasn't about to let some mouthy whore talk down to her over something as ridiculous as getting woken up. Oh, that would never happen. Even if she didn't win this fight, Puck would still feel proud that she stood up for herself with so little hesitation. As she was caught up in her thoughts, however, the female shouted something she didn't quite catch, and slammed into her body. She slid back a few feet before bracing herself. The adrenaline had overtaken her body so quickly that she barely even knew that a set of jaws was embedded in to her flesh. "Y'all are gonna regret that..." she growled, before whipping her head around, and sending her own teeth towards the fae's cheek.

[/img] Fur, flesh and blood entered her mouth, mostly fur which clouded up her airways and made Lexa release her grip. Gaging on the collie's thick fur, Lexa dropped all defensive as she coughed out the collie's shoulder fur. Within a minute period, Lexa forgot where she was at. She gagged, hacking up blood and hair. After a minute's break of trying to breathe, the white husky mixed got herself together. Quickly she moved, and another attack started to form. A harsh snarl came from her blood stricken lips, even more saliva fell from her jaws and dripped down her throat onto her chest. Panting, her tongue rolled out of her jaws and her chest heaved in exhaustion, but she wasn't going to give up, not yet anyway. Quickly, she moved with everything that she had left in her, then suddenly the collie's body slammed into hers.
Pain shot through Lexa's face, and a yelp broke from her vocals. The collie's teeth entered Lexa's face, nearly inches away from her eye. Unlike Lexa, Puck didn't have a mouth of fur and it also made a large puncture hole in the pretty white girl's face. A small tear rolled out of her eye, only because it was more of a shock to her than in pain. This attack only infuriated her even more, adrenaline pumped through her veins and she got stronger from the hormone. Exhaling, the white girl lunched herself at the females face, she was going to pay her back for tearing at her face. A sharp yowl was heard coming from the female which just vocalized how Lexa was feeling.
Anger, pain, and pure aggression was flowing through Lexa, if the female was any bigger and had more weight on her bones she probably would try and kill the female. Who knew why she was so pissed off, who knew why she was so mad at the collie. Maybe Lexa was turning crazy? With the lack of food and the lack of sleep, it could turn a dog mad. Was the fate of Lexa? A mad, throat chewing female? She usually wasn't this violent, many of the scars along her torso were from males attacking her, there wasn't too many fights that Lexa actually got into with another female. The only thing on Lexa's mind was to make her pay for the suffering that she caused the white princess.

Short, thick fur and metallic liquid filled the merle canine's mouth, making her want to vomit. Oh god, how did everyone fight so easily? She felt like a cannibal; she hadn't once thought of consuming blood before she attacked. Bleh. Pucker bit down a bit harder, then quickly released, spitting the crimson substance out and shaking her head in repugnance. "Oh, Puck, you're startin' ta act like one o'them city gals. Quit it." she scolded herself, turning her head back to the shepherd with a glare. The taste itself wasn't really what go to her - she hunted all of the time - it was merely how wrong it felt to be ingesting the blood of one of her own. But now wasn't the time for pondering what was right and wrong, it was the time finish this thing.
She saw the female returning an attack toward her face, and quickly turned. Suddenly, teeth clamped down on the side of her flopping ear, and she felt it twist and turn until it broke free. Ear feeling as though it were on fire, and the itching of blood flowing from it, Pucker's eye twitched, and she let out an unearthly roar. "Giddyup, Princess! You're about to see how we southern girls stir up a ruckus!" She launched herself forward, colliding with the opposing female, and overtook her. In a rage, she took her paw and raised it high, aiming her claws for the female's pretty face, and brought it down with all of her strength, certain it would meet its desired location.

Sharp, agonizing pain left her face to her ear, another high pitched scream came from her mouth. She closed her eyes tightly, and breathed once more. Lexa shook her head, trying to shake the pain away from her body, as she did this movement blood splattered out from around her and landed along the ground and her fur. Lexa's pretty white coat was now turning pink, speciously around her face. The blood in her ear poured out, as the once erect ear was now folded over and hanging, dripping blood onto her face and eyes. The hole in her face wasn't too bad off as her ear, it was only oozing out blood, compared to her ear which was like a leaking faucet of blood. The smell of the iron liquid flooded her nose, and the female gagged in disgust. There was too much blood to be okay, and she knew her ear would never be normal again, but she had to win. At this moment of time, the collie female was winning, and this just made Lexa keep going.
Now, she was truly pissed, and Lexa howled, it was long and low, and screaming that she meant business, then suddenly, she felt claws against her face, and over her eye. Pausing, Lexa was disoriented and everything seemed to stop. The collie's paw just ran against her face, the opposite side of the puncture hole but the same side of the ear ripping. She stood there with her head lowered, and just pouring out blood. She looked defeated, and drawn, her sides heaved in and out as she grasped for air. Between all the blows, the cocky white female was becoming weak, and the collie had more weight on Lexa than what Lexa had on the collie. Before Lexa could open her mouth and speak, the female was upon her. They twisted and turned, but Lexa could not beat the collie off of her.
Quickly, Lexa was on the ground, her back laying in the dirt and the collie was over her. She growled at the female, eyes burning with hate but nothing was left in her body. She couldn't do it anymore. Her pretty little white face was now swollen and pink, and her body ached as her muscles screamed. Her face throbbed, and she could feel her heartbeat through her wounds. This wasn't fair, but she knew she was defeated. Her eyes started to soften and her lips stop shivering with anger. She was now fearful that her life was endangered, she had no more strength in her body, and the collie could take Lexa's life in a heartbeat. Blinking, her eyes started to harden again. She would not say sorry to the female, if she was going to die, she would die staring into the eyes of her killer.

Not one time in her short life did Puck think of killing another dog. Sure, if they tried something with one of her pups, they would be subjected to the almighty Momma Bear, but even then, she would probably just beat them pretty bad. Even now, when she could so easily take the worn out shepherd mix's life out of spite, she just didn't have it in her. Everyone deserves a second chance, right? Though they may never be friends, her new-found rival still deserved to live. What would happen to the family she may or may not have? Her friends? It just didn't seem fair.
Her opponent had squealed so many times out of pain and shock, that Puck stopped counting. She decided she would simply stop here. No more fighting. Though there was no truce, the locked stare they were sharing said everything. Enough was enough. Pucker, as well as the dog she was on top of, said nothing for a long time. She simply stared down into her eyes with a look of digust, breathing hard. She was physically and emotionally drained.
A long, deep gash was present on her front left leg, the blood having left no trace of the beautiful white fur that once resided there. She had a nice chunk taken out of her right ear, and even had a few nicks on her muzzle. She was a bloody mess, and knew that, as soon as she left, she would be heading to some source of water. Definitely not the ocean, though. Damn, that would hurt. She figured the war with their gazes had gone on long enough, and huffed. She said nothing, simply stepping off of the female and walking off with a slight limp. After a moment, she stopped, and looked back at the female. The collie opened her mouth as if she was about to say something, but stopped, and simply shook her head. Pucker set off on her journey once more, eventually fading out of view.

Lexa laid there, still as she could be, her muscles ached even more as she stood there in a tight position. Her paw was up, aimed for blocking the collie, but she knew that the fight was over. They stared into each others eyes for a moment, for a very long moment is what seemed like to Lexa. It felt like every second was a minute, and every minute was an hour. Though she only had Lexa pinned on her back for about a minute, it felt like a life time has went and gone before the collie got off of her. Puck could kill Lexa any moment now, but there was something in the herding dog that didn't seem vicious, malicious, gruesome. Lexa knew if the shoe was on the other foot, she would take her life in a breath, but this was probably the difference between the two creatures. There was love in the girl's eyes, but also hatred for Lexa. There was a love for life, and a caringness about the collie that Lexa wished she had, but knew she did not feel that for anyone but herself.
Lexa stared at the girl, she wasn't the only one hurt. She hurt Puck pretty badly herself, and this gave Lexa a tad sense of pride within herself. Her golden brown eyes danced with a fire in her eyes, though she was weak physically, she wanted to keep on fighting. The fact that the dog wasn't strong enough to hurt Lexa made her weaken instead, but she knew that the injured female was right. It really was senseless, and now they both were battered up for no reason. Lexa knew that her ear would never be the same again, and she would have a nice hole in her check for a few days. But with the satisfaction of hurting her, she also hurt Lexa. Finally, Puck got off of Lexa, but the white girl did not move. She laid there still with her back in the dust, laying there like how a puppy would when in trouble with her mother.
Lexa watched the collie with keen eyes. She was limping, but that was to be expected- it wasn't a easy fight that neither of the girls put themselves through. Then Puck did the unexpected- she turned around. Confused on what she was going to do, Lexa's brows came together, questioning the female. Was she coming back to finish the job? Lexa thought to herself, but she still laid on her back. The female opened her mouth, but then quickly closed it. After that, she walked away. Lexa watched her walk away in the same position that Puck placed her in. Finally when she couldn't see the dog anymore, the shepherd mix got up. Huffing with pain, it was pointless to lick her wounds. It wasn't like she could reach them anyways. Lexa sat there dumbfounded. How could someone walk away like that? But she was grateful for the collie's kindness. She sat there with her fur all in tufts and matted with blood, hers and Pucks. Her tail was wrapped around her paws, and she watched the sun set.
OOC: Fight is over, ready to be judged.
