Alamosa's pharmacy is just like any other medical supply store around, with gauze, pills, and knick knacks to make the sickly feel better, like teddy bears. Many canines like to tear apart the plastic bags in the back, testing out those pills, but many die because of such adventures, for the medication doesn't work well with them, ending up freezing their systems while they sleep, so don’t be surprised if you find a carcass of two lying around. The building is large, cold, and creepy, but a jackpot if you manage to locate something to bind your wounds, for in the end that will help you heal faster than if you just let it air dry, even if your wrapping is messily done.

Bubba’s Café has been around since the building of this town, the pride and joy of an old Italian man, but ever since the spread of disease and dust storms in this area, it has long been abandoned. Now it is filled with many canines seeking shelter in the hardy stone, some lucky to find scraps of food left over, though the main assistance is from the creaky chairs and tiled flooring, keeping the dogs cool and comfortable. Many other predators area known to walk these parts, for the scent of all this possible prey makes them hungry, so only come in small groups, unless you’re willing to fight off a vicious panther for that slab of rotten meat.

Main Street. Just the name sends shivers down many of these city dogs’s spines, for they know how vast and bustling it had once been, the pavement driven on by the occasional car and more often the horse-drawn coaches. Now it is merely eating up the sun with its rough surface, and traveled by many canines as they stroll past the various shops and what-not that belong to the domain. Here is where the main drama happens, for beware, many gangs of unofficial canines tend to lurk in the alleyways and cause mayhem for the rest of the more peaceful dwellers.

The subway is a grand thing to encounter, going beneath the ground once you follow the submerging steps, cockroaches crawling all over the walls, running from the giant rats. The trains of the establishment are rusted and not in use, for there is no one to conduct them, but it provides a place to sleep if you wish, the seats made of plastic, so it might not be very comfortable. If you choose to follow the tracks, they can lead you to all sorts of places not able to be reached on foot when on land, so take a chance and explore, if you’re risky.

Wishing Point Mall was the main center of meeting for all the women of Alamosa, filled with fashionable clothing and all sorts of different stores, but now all that remains is the empty rooms that were once filled with actual people. The merchandise remains, be it toys, clothes, exercise gear, you can find it all here in these giant rooms, not to mention miniature playgrounds that had once been crawled all over. This place is a great place to bring a litter of pups, for they can just bounce around in the mall all day, as long as they don’t go out the back doors, where an undeveloped swamp is found, littered with alligators.
