Name
Elroy
Alias
Roy, El
Gender
Male
Age
3 and a half years.
Breed
Pit bull, Rottweiler mix
Personality
Elroy is broken inside and out. He is silent, barely speaking except when is is absolutely nescasary . Also, he is bitter cold to other males, never to females or puppies, they’re his weakness since they make him melt. He has a brick wall inserted around his heart which makes it nearly impossible to get to know him. If he would happen to find someone worthy of a second glance, he would treat them with pure kindness. Underneath the layed of ice surrounding his soul, is a dog, though, a real, live, dog. He is solid, and unafraid of most anything, there is one thing though that he is truly terrified of, himself. He is afraid that one day he will mentally explode in overload of concentrated anger, lashing out at his loved ones, Elroy is as well, very paranoid, he always feels like he has a shadow over his shoulder following him wherever he goes, a bad shadow, a devil.
History
Before Birth
Corella panted heavily, she had not just done that, had she? She asked herself repeadedly, as she slowed her pace and glanced over her shoulder for reassurance that the chase was indeed, over. She had just escaped hell, a dog fighting rink, she was a high class reproduction fighting dog, one of the best, really. The gorgeous pit bull mix female would fight almost every night after the sun went down, winning almost everytime, until is came to the time of year, the time she came into heat. At that time, Ronny and Corey, her masters, would allow her to put the fighting on hold for 10 days, but the other option was nearly as bad as the rink. They would force breed her to their best male fighter, everyday atleast twice, she had to accept their sperm into her body without fighting. This time her mate happened to be Cratcher, he was almost twice her size, and muscularly built. He was so rough, biting her everytime he got that Ronny wasn’t watching, Corey allowed the nipping, but Ronny however had an actual love and desire towards the dogs, treating them with most of the respect that they should have. Corella, was his favorite, when Corey wasn’t around, he would toss her pieces of his sandwich and always give her hugs and kisses. After the tenth, and final day, she was shoved into a small cage, bruised and battered with very little, dirty, water, and only a handful or two of kibble a day. Corella spent 26 weeks in that kennel until one dat, Ronny slipped up and made a stupid mistake of opening her kennel door and allowing her to run the building, making all the other dogs launch themselves at their doors barking and snarling wishing they had her in their jaws. The femme searched for the gap in the gate, she had seen it once before, when she finally saw it again, she didn’t take a second of hesitation before heaving her large pregnant body through the small opening. Ronny watched her carefully, screaming and shouting for her to come back, he took off after her, Corey joining him and muttering hurtful words to Ronny. The she-dog raced full pace through the town, until she found an alley, she dove into a dumpster and sat still. She didn’t think they saw her go in the dumpster, so after a few minutes of waiting them out, she fell asleep on the plush garbage bags. When she woke up, she was in the kennel again, her body aching from the beating they had given her, blood oozed from a gash on her leg and bruises covered her white and brown pelt, she could hardly move. Another pain seered over her body the unmistakable pain of birth.
Puppy Years
When Elroy came into the world, Corella was passed out and Ronny had to cut him out of the sac, Corey wanted to just let them all die, which is what happened, to the others in the litter anyway, Roy was the only pup to survive.
Later, Corey became happy that he had let this one survive, because he became the best. Elroy was the dog everone wanted, he was strongly built, ripping everything to shreds and never looking back. He defeated everyone, even his father. One day though, the day El turned a year old, the cops came, raiding the fight building, cuffing Corey and Ronny. With a quick press of the button on the wall, from Corey, all the dogs were loose and then Corey muttered one word “Attack.” All the dogs mauled the officers, knowing better not to attack one another or the two teens. Elroy stood back, hesitating, now was the chance he had to be free, “Elroy, attack.” Spat Ronny, at this point the brute didn’t have a chance, he pushed his was through the other dogs onto the officer that held Ronny, cutting his arteries in his neck, killing him with a single bite, staring into his cold blue eyes, Elroy just killed a human who was trying to rescue him. Elroy had to leave, he found the whole in the fence, and slipped right through, leaving everyone and everything behind, crying and never looking back.
Appearance:
Elroy is a red merle, muscularly built pit bull mix. He is a beautiful golden color, mixed with grey and black maybe even some blue. His eyes are a caramel color that melts over chocolate when he is upset, or angry. His paws are tipped with white and his nose is chocolate brown, unlike his ears that are floppy, perking when he hears a sound. His long tassel is missing the tip from a fight, only a small piece, barely noticeable.
