B O D H I
» I won't give up on us ;
GENDER: Male.
AGE: 5 Months.
BREED: [Siberian Husky x Canaan Dog] xx [Native American Indian Dog x German Shepherd x American Akita]
GROUP: Maison de Paris
ORIENTATION: Undiscovered, due to the fact that girls still have cooties at this age.
DISORDERS: None.
QUIRKS: Thinks he's a superhero.
GUARDIAN: Legacy
APPEARANCE:
Bodhi is your average pup: soft peach fuzz all over his body, unpredictable ears, and awkward paws. We'll start out with his mug, though.
Bo's head is round, and rather small, but proportionate to the rest of his body. His muzzle is long and of average width, with tight lips and an adorable button nose. The ears atop his head are similar to that of a husky, being tall and thick. His chest isn't barreled like most of the brutes running around, but sits contently between his forelegs. Body long and sleek, he is rather quick and agile, being able to slip out of trouble relatively easily. Dhi's legs are long and thin, with clown-shoe sized paws sprouting off the end of them. At the end of the mutt's body is a medium lengthed tail, that curls loosely against his rump.
Bodhi is light coated, and blends in with wheat fields, and the like, with ease. His coat is a mixture of red and blonde, forming an orange-ish shade of tan. The underside of his body is a light cream color, as well as his paws, cheeks, muzzle, and the dots above each eye. Black stands out very subtly against his coat, and appears on his nose, lips, pads, and on the lower half of his tail. The NAID mix has an interesting array of greens, blues, and browns in his eyes that form a light hazel. His eyes can look more chocolate, or more green on any given day; it just depends on what mood he's in.

PERSONALITY:
[mischevious] & [adventurous] & [athletic] & [whimsical] & [protective] & [courageous] & [untrusting] & [superhero] & [annoyed with himself] & [determined] & [good heart]
& mischievous -You could say Bodhi's another natural born Dennis the Menace. He's always sticking his nose where it shouldn't be, and loves to play pranks on others. Of course, this gets him in to quite a bit of trouble, so it's a blessing that he's quick.
& adventurous -Bodhi is quite the curious creature, always wanting to go spelunking or sailing over waterfalls. He craves adventure and to discover the unknown, and will never pass up an opportunity to do something "dangerous." Show him the abandoned mineshaft, and you can bet your ass he'll be happy to go running through the unstable place.
& athletic -If he were lazy, he would be dead by now. Why? Between outrunning angry prank victims, and nearly getting crushed in his many adventures, he has to be in shape! Besides the usual mischief, he enjoys racing other canines, and even parkouring with a few friends. He likes to think of himself as the strongest mutt around, even though he clearly isn't. His ego is too great for him to back down to any challenge; even if there's no chance of him winning.
& whimsical -Despite his competitive, daredevil nature, Bodhi can be quite...adorable when left to his own devices. Bouncy, playful, and all around fanciful. He tends to get caught up in his imagination, but only when alone, or with someone he trusts; he can't let everyone think he's weak!
& superhero -Somewhere deep in Bodhi's mind, he truly believes that he is a superhero, destined to save the innocent citizens around him. Some say that it was just another story from his imagination, that he somehow established as fact, but I assure you, this is not true. All of the trauma he's been dealt in his life has forced him to find some kind of happiness, which is the main reason for him being so fanciful. He's pushed all of the horrid events from his life into a deep, dark corner in his mind, where they can't bother him again.
& determined -Once this boy sets his mind to doing something, he simply won't stop until he's accomplished his goal. Bodhi can't stand the thought of giving up, and if he can help it, will spend all of his time trying to succeed.
& good-hearted -The Canaan Dog mix is very kind, willing to give up his entire day to cheer up a complete stranger. He is also a very generous mutt, and would do anything to see another canine safe and happy. But... this comes with restrictions. This is only to other pups, and older females. "The pups I can see, but why the adult females?" you ask? Deep in his subconscious, he believes that his mother left because Bodhi was a bad son, so it's only natural that he would want to please a motherly figure.
& annoyed with himself -Bodhi, being the prankster he is, is always picking at others. After the day is over, though, he thinks back on it, and realizes just how "annoying" he really is. He can't stand himself sometimes, leading him to wonder how his peers haven't left him yet.
» we've got a lot to learn ;
HISTORY:YOUTH ,
Bodhi was born to a Siberian Husky by the name of Jezebel, and she was...well, a spoiled brat. She loved to be the center of attention, and could be referred to as the neighborhood whore. Enough about "mommy dearest," though.
Bodhi's father died before he was born, but already had a daughter to another female. Her name was Holly. and she became the little orange puppy's primary caretaker, and, to her displeasure, had to share an old, abandoned house with her little brother's mother. Bo was oblivious to all of this, and he was heartbroken when his mother finally decided to up and leave one day, without any explanation, taking all three of his siblings with her. Her last words to the young male were "I'm leaving, kid. Go back home." He'd come to the conclusion that she left because he was a very bad little boy.
When she noticed how mopey her little brother was, Holly decided she needed to get him out of the house, and let him get some fresh air. She took him to a dog park, where they discovered his favorite hobby: running. Little Dhi loved racing, leaping, doing parkour, and all of that other stuff. He was pretty damn good at it, too, having beaten every puppy in the area in races. That didn't save him from ridicule, though. Being skinny and small, the older puppies teased him quite often, because he was different. In a world where the burly shepherds and dashing collies ruled, and got all the girls, Bodhi just didn't meet the standards of his peers. They would corner him, calling him every name in the book, and pointing out his every "flaw." His tail was girly, he was all legs, he didn't have any muscle, he daydreamed too much. When teasing just didn't cut it, the bastards would even gang him, leaving him battered and defenseless, just for the hell of it. Bodhi hid it from his sister, until he came home limping one day, in which case she demanded he tell her what was going on. When he fessed up, she took him back there, and lectured all of the juvenile delinquents. At the end of the day, Holly decided that she and Bodhi would move to a new city, where the little guy could make some friends. On their way there, however, a gang of muscular brutes who wanted a little action surrounded them. Holly wasn't having it, and bit down hard on one brute's leg, breaking it. The collie mix was soon overtaken, and when Bodhi charged in to defend his sister, she screamed for him to do what he did best, and run. She said she loved him, and the thing that would help her most would be for him to run as fast as he could, as far away as he could, until he reached another city. So...with tears in his eyes, heart crumbling, and guilt overflowing, he closed his eyes and fled. Next thing he knew, he was laying on cool sand, feeling waterlogged and having no idea where he was. That is, until Legacy found and adopted him. Now being having the leader of the Maison de Paris as his mentor and father figure, Bodhi could finally call this strange new place, Saddle Creek, home.
