Kodi weighs about 100 pounds and stands at about 25 inches tall. He is certainly well built and takes pride in his beautiful long coat. Kodi is a ubiquitous tan and black shepherd with expressive chocolate eyes. Beyond the fact that his eyes look fairly normal at first glance, they give away most of Kodi's emotions easily. Even though he's only seen three years, his muzzle is already beginning to gray, giving him a wiser, gentler appearance. His right ear has a small nick in the top corner; but other than that, his luxurious coat hides most of his other scars and blemishes.

Personality:

Kodi is a fairly relaxed young dog but as all dog's are at his age, he is very inquisitive. He is extremely clever with words and knows the best ways to wiggle secrets out of any dog. Other than his tenaciousness with words, Kodi just loves to listen to others talk and observe the world around him. His trust is difficult to earn but once he gets to know someone, he will give his life for their's and guard them with fierce loyalty. His biggest flaw is his inability to truly love another dog. He just can't seem to give his heart away and he doesn't know why.

History:

From the day he was born, Kodi was immediately bonded to his smaller brother, Nova. The two grew up together on the streets with their mom and sister, hoping to find enough food to live another day. Up until the day their sister was killed by an angry butcher, Kodi and his brother lived what they thought was the good life, play fighting and exploring everyday while their mom tried to find a few scraps for dinner. And then, one day their mother didn't come back, when they were only about a year old.

Kodi assumed the new role as his brother's guardian and the two left the city they had known as pups behind in search of smaller game to eat, such as rabbits and squirrels. Kodi and his brother lived on the base of the mountains for a few months before deciding to return to the town to find their mother. The two dogs found a new home behind a small patch of reeds in a little park and lived their during the time they endlessly searched for their mother. Before long, Kodi knew that they would never find their mother, and stopped searching. Nova refused to stop looking and continued his search until the day he was attacked by another dog. Kodi mourned both of his brother's and mother's deaths but moved on and began a new chapter in his life.
