light of the world / / oh yes
Name:Callie
Age:3 years
Gender:Female
Appearance:Breed- Golden Retriever
Callie has a naturally athletic body for running and living in the mountains and forests that she inherited from her breed's characteristics. She is a very light yellow, cream colored golden with long, soft fur. She stands at about 23 inches and weighs approximately 85 pounds. She carries the classic retriever breed head and has a slim but lightly muscled chest. Her haunches are very strong and she excels in jumping fences and jumping up onto objects. She has sweet, light brown eyes and a black nose.
Personality:Callie is a happy-go-lucky girl who loves mischief and has a knack for getting into trouble. She tends to be very friendly and loves meeting new dogs. But, she is practically addicted to being in love and has been around the block quite a few times. She's full of spunk and can be a little on the ditzy side if she's really relaxed. She's known quite well for her bubbly laugh because she's usually giggling about something. All she really wants from life is a good time and follows the motto, "You only live once."
History:Callie was born as an only pup into a peculiar little household. Her mother died when she was very young and she was raised by her father. Both Callie and her dad were turned into an animal shelter when she was young because of money troubles. The two lived together in a small 4x4 crate until one day when one of the white coated humans took her father away.
Soon after, Callie fell into a deep depression that no one could seem to coax her out of. Day after day, people would look at her from outside her crate's steel bars and shake their heads, sad to see such a cute young pup wasting away in a shelter. As she grew older, Callie found that less and less people would peer into her crate, offering a a little more privacy. But she grew lonely eventually and began to howl her nights away, like many of the other shelter dogs. And then, one day a young girl came up to her cage and whispered sweet nothings to her.
After a few minutes of murmuring, the girl ushered Callie out of her crate and slipped a rope over her head before the two sprinted down the chaotic isle. The girl put Callie in a little old car and drove for miles and miles. Callie fell asleep eventually and when she awoke, they had stopped driving and were in the mountains, on the edge of a forest. The girl set Callie free into the wild as soon as she saw she was awake and drove away, giving Callie a second chance at life.
