Lengthy strides took the brute anywhere at anytime very quickly. Long body, long legs and big strong muscles helped with that also. The powerful German canine, head low and ears flickering back and forth, were able to catch every sound from one hundred feet away of him. Nose low but also high, smelling everything in path, everything Blitz could smell in his range. The larger his strides were, the faster Blitz could travel. The more the better for Blitz's case. He was a loyal canine, protection taught and bite trained to be loyal to his one and only master. For him it was closer than a bond, they were best friends and could read each others minds. But Blitz was torn away from his master and they were never seen again. Blitz, however was a very large canine with a small heart and only had room for one or two people and/or canines.
However, in Blitz's case, humans were to be trusted more than dogs. Well, I mean Blitz is a so/so social dog, he isn't your social butterfly like some dog's taught through those ways, no, Blitz wasn't those. The long length strides soon turned into slower paces as the red and black canines trotted into the small Saddle Creek town. It was just like one in those old ghost town movies and books his old owner had read a couple of times to him, and Blitz could see them clearly. Cuddled up in a small, cozy living room with a fireplace and him and his master, reclining in a large leather chair while Blitz laid obediently at his feet. German shepherds were supposed to he feared by those who were not welcomed. They were guard dogs, dogs trained to protect and assure the master or place safety would be remained in the building. The large canine padded quietly up on the wooden side walk connecting all the small stores together, wood creaking at each of his paw steps.
".....Geist town, dis es." Blitz muttered irritably, his vocal cords hushed when he heard the sound of another approaching. Hushed and waiting patiently, Blitz flashed himself a mental note of to try and talk in English rather than his hometown language. German was quite easy for Blitz to learned, since all his commands were in German anyways. When no one came into view after a while, Blitz became curious and leaned forward, opening his mouth, a calm and yet a bit nervous 'hello' came out." Hallo?" the thickly accented German voice asked, waiting for a reply.

She was so bored, there was nothing for her to ever do, and thus she was scoping around for some entertainment, currently finding it by lounging out on the porch of the town hall, grooming her thick merle pelage, tassel swishing evenly to the sides. This went on for around half an hour before she stood up on her stable limbs, shaking said coat until she was satisfied with the way it laid on her structure, and then once more on her way to go see if she could pick up someone to have a chat with, or just go back to her last plan and sleep for a few more hours. Her nares flared as she attempted to pick up the fragrances of other canines, though most of the ones she managed to detect were stale, from last night or older, and that would not do her any good, for she didn’t want to go all the way to their homes, she was pretty sure most animals did not appreciate it when a stranger, or even a friend, came to their abode without any warning when there wasn’t an emergency.
** The Great Dane/Mastiff/Finnish Spitz mix had been heading down the dusty street of the main area of the domain, near the borders, especially the entrance of where newcomers tended to wand by, for perhaps her luck would glow today, and hopped up on a wooden crate, seating herself upon he flanks with a graceful pose as she just stared off into the argent distance, the weather grumpy this morning despite it being quite a heated summer, meaning fall was put off for a bit more, her favorite season coming up, so she was anticipating the first colorations of the leaves. Her pondering spell was shattered when a sinewed physique came into her line of sight, but she remained silent to see who this attractive brute was, for she most certainly didn’t see him around Saddle Creek beforehand, and the golden-eyed femme observed as the German Shepherd took in the status of the town, muttering something out in thickly accented baritone chords, to which the edges of her rubbery rims tilted up in the ghost of a smile, oh how foreigners spoke so beautifully with their own emphasis on the words, to which she leapt down from her pedestal when the stranger called out a questioning greeting. She trotted her way over to him with a friendly aura, standing linear to him, only a meager two yards away, purring out to the European, “Hello, sugar.” Natalia refrained from batting her lashes flirtatiously, for she first wanted to get the title of the dog first, so she could start with her coquettish comments, and thus she just added to her previous vocabulary, “I’m Natalia, care to tell me your’s?”

Blitz paused for a moment and thought about retreating, he could definitely smell something but decided not too when a voice retaliated and responded to him. It was a smooth, English voice on soprano votes that fluttered around Blitz's head, taking him back for a minute but then releasing his mind and stopped spinning. Blitz could understand her clearly, he was taught both English and German, but never really tried to speak English as much. He could do half and half, half in German and the other half in English, but for some they were hard to understand. The aussie mix was a pretty sight, but Blitz had learned not to get too carried away by the appearance. He had been taught not to judge things by their covers, and especially not with females. He tried not too, because sometimes they could really hurt him, so Blitz just stayed low and played it cool for a while until he actually got to know the chick.
"Hallo. Sie nennen mich Blitz." He answered nervously, eying her before saying again in understandable English, "I'm sorry, mizz. The name is Blitz." he continued, his English could use some polish, but then again as long as the female understood correctly, his thick accented words leapt right off his tongue and into a small sentence for her. He smiled kindly, watching the female with interest. She seemed like a very friendly girl, but Blitz knew he shouldn't act upon assuming, for it sometimes could be deadly. At least that's what happened to him in Germany. Protecting his master's land and himself caused Blitz to end up in death roll, and he was never able to reattach himself with his master. That's why the Shepherd was slow to respond and careful to observe others instead. Be slow to anger and slow to speak. For once, Blitz actually obeyed that famous rule.
"Natalia.. a vury nice name, mizz. Where does you come from?" Blitz asked, seating himself on the wooden planks a few feet away from Natalia herself. Blitz may have looked awkward with his words, but he was a very confident fellow and wasn't afraid of anything, really. Blitz patiently awaited her response eagerly, ready for anything interesting to come his way.

[atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,333,true] | [atrb=background,http://i1050.photobucket.com/albums/s413/SilentCallings/NataliaTable3Middle.png]** She seated herself upon her haunches in an elegant movement from months of practice, ever since she was a pup she had admired her grandmother’s regal movements, and always mimicked the way she sat, so from a young age she had learned the ways of being able to refrain from being clumsy in front of acquaintances and more importantly, possible suitors, though when in the presence of her older brother, her silly side always came out, tripping over her own feet and falling into mud puddles, though that was made it fun to be around Casanova, he never cared that she was a dirt-covered mess, he still adored her as siblings should. This brute was very large, especially compared to her short and petite self, inheriting most of her Russian mother’s genes rather than her giant of a father, like her siblings had, though she did like being this size, meant she wasn’t as masculine looking with such a bulky build which only was attractive on the opposite gender, and she could see the packed muscles along his frame, hidden beneath all of that fur, his general guise overall different from most German Shepherd she had met before, but from his accent, she could tell he wasn’t from here, and perhaps from the original, more stocky line of the breed. After Nata had greeted him with cheery feminine syllables, he stood silent for a split second before responding in a foreign language, to which she blinked her golden voids blindly in confusion.
** After that slip-up, the German corrected himself, and she returned the beam to her lips, actually having found that mistake in his speech rather cute, reminding her of her dam, and the way he pronounced the words in English was soothing, gruff yet beautiful at the same time, much more relaxing than the normal speech by native males here. Her semi-flopped lobes perked at his name, taking it in, storing away the calling before purring out in response, “Pleasure to meet you, Sir Blitz. Such a powerful name you have, suits you.” Perhaps there had been a slight flirty tone to that as she winked playfully, feathered tail wagging slowly behind her, and she let out a muffled giggle when she noticed she was right, his title did fit him to perfection, he was so stoic, just like a statue, and she bet with all that brawn he could take down enemies without even using his teeth, hence why the chaotic sounding label of his was apt. The European proceeded to compliment her name, querying her as to where she was from, and her merle follicles prickled a bit with a not noticeable blush, for she wasn’t used to being told her forename was nice, it was usually her body that brutes took notice of. It was a nice chance, and letting out a cough to recollect herself, the Great Dane/Mastiff/Finnish Spitz mix answered him with a tilt of her head, “Why thank you, that was kind of you to say. I am from this town of Saddle Creek, from the first litter to be born here, though my mother was from Russia.” She then let a question tumble out of her own vocals to direct the chat back at him, “And where are you from, darling? Your accent is lovely.”

Blitz had seated himself comfortably on his haunches and wasn't prepared to move at all. Only if the young dame would like him to move, Blitz would certainly be of service. He was kind that way, and in some sorts protective over everyone he called his friend. Blitz had never had a mate. Or a crush, for a matter of fact. Back in Germany he was always with his master, his soul mate. They were the closest brothers you could get when crossing dog with human. Blitz loved and adored his human master so, but when he was on death roll he had to open up his heart to someone else, a young petite girl from America who brought him here and snuck him out for Blitz's life. She had trained him with the US military forces and bite trained him. Blitz was not just a guard dog once he stepped onto American ground, he was a certified Military special forces canine. And Blitz was proud of that. However, there were some moments in his history that he was not proud of. His German heritage, for example. When he first came, Blitz was still learning English, and some of the American bred dogs like Dobermans, Retrievers and Belgains made fun of the large brute. Blitz's self esteem plummeted after that, and now he is very careful on who to talk to.
" Du magst keine my accent?" Blitz asked, unaware of his German words in the beginning of the sentence. It was really hard for a brute to learn in one year's time, for most it took two or three years to complete a sentence without thinking. "Du.. You don't hate me and my words?" he asked curiously. For everyone else he had met made fun of him and his thickly accented German words. Blitz was rather proud of his original German heritage, he was born and raised there and likes that. but others did not. They thought it disqualified him for being a true canine. The idiots. Yes, blitz liked the name Natalia. It had a good Russian kick to it that Blitz could account with. "I know of many dogs from that area. My master used to work with Russian clients." he paused, then continued rather confidently. "I am from a proud line in Germany." he said proudly, his chest beaming as well as his face with the German pride he held.

Though it was as if all canines nowadays wanted to tear each other apart, be it because of their non-pure lineage or just for a matter of where someone was from, and both of these things greatly bothered her, since she saw every animal as equals, unless they were just plain rude, for then she placed them as trash, just like it should be. The femme observed as he pondered over something, and just from the way he carried himself she could tell he was once a part of something very important, the only question was, what? Had he been a spy, or the more common yet still honorable occupation of a police unit? Either way he had served his duty to the earth, which automatically gave him the right to be proud in her eyes, for she despised those who thought they blessed the world with their presence when it would actually be better off without their grubby existence. Though she wasn’t allowed to talk about such things, for she was technically just as bad as them with all of her constant sleeping around with taken brutes, it wasn’t the best of things to occupy her time with.
** Natalia was then the next victim of such deep thoughts, letting out a sigh when accented baritone notes thrummed around, thankful that he had broken her out of that indulging trance, only to cock her head in confusion when all that spewed forth from his larynx was foreign terms, vocabulary she had never heard spoken in her life. Though despite her inability to understand, she found it rather cute, especially when he picked up on his mistake and let out a sound of realization, which she held back from letting out a squeal at how adorable it was, only to trace over his question, eyes softened as she smiled gently and responded with, “Of course not, the way you speak is unique, I like it. Obviously anyone who doesn’t has to be an idiot.” Her tassel lashed around as her chin tilted up with that announcement, for she settled down that what she told him was true, after all, who didn’t like the way he enunciated his syllables with that gruff tongue of his? The maiden then told him of her heritage, to which Blitz explained that he was familiar with some dogs from there, to which she leaned forward in interest, until he puffed out his chest a bit with the pride he felt for his own nation, to which she let out a giggle of entertainment, it was good that he was loved where he was from, looking past the negatives to lay upon the positive, and that was when she stimulated the chat a bit more by asking, “Germany, how wonderful. How was it like over there?”

Blitz was very surpirzed that she was not lying and being honest about how she liked his unique accent. Somehow, that didn't seem much of a comfort, but anyways, he would be glad for the compliment from the young femme. Blitz nodded in respect, dipping his head slightly and then retracting it back up for he could hear her and see her properly. His vision cleared when she relaxed, the tension, even if there was any, was misted out and gone completely between the two, however Blitz was not foolish enough to let it slide by. Fighting was not Blitz liked to do, especially with women. He considered them to be less of a threat in some cases, but not all. He did, however reject the fact that they were helpless. Back in the older days, and still some times now, men and older brutes felt that females were not as greater power and strength that the brutes were. They were to do the clean, nice and petty work while the 'real' canines did the dirty and deeper work. Blitz didn't agree with that either.
"Danke Natalia." he thanked graciously, accepting her words of praise lightly. Blitz would still be cautious around others and how he spoke his words, but would definitely try not to allow himself be put down. Blitz leaned in and listened to her next set of words, glad she was the one striking up conversation and not himself. Blitz had no problem asking questions and chatting, but they were hard for him because he had to put the question right on the bullseye for anyone American to understand it. 'Es gefällt mir vuree much-" Blitz cut himself off this time, chuckling at his mistake yet again. He wondered how many times he would have to correct himself today. "Sorry, mizz. I say I liked Germany very much, very cozy for me and master. Does you like America?" Blitz answered with a question, smiling at his correct pronunciation. "Natalia, do you have a job? Like a working unit?" Blitz asked with interest, hoping the femme Aussie would he able to share similar feelings for the jobs that dog's were given around the world.

Did something happen, would she encounter a mangled corpse somewhere behind a bunch of crates, just waiting to make her heart stop for a split second? It pushed her to the brink, she was quite queasy around death and what-not, blood as well, but that didn’t make her want to sway out of how dizzy she was getting, to which she curled her tail around her flank a bit tighter as a manner of reminding herself that this town was much too safe for such things, where pups could play at night without the worry of wolves prowling to consume them. Though now, as more canines immigrated in, a new danger presented itself, with the crazed mentalities of some, be it cannibalism, egomania, induced aggression, or a myriad of other diseases.
** The German Shepherd thanked her for the compliment she tossed his way, and she tilted her head downwards with a kind smile, not her usual flirty grins, for she wasn’t in such a coquettish mood today, actually liking this phase of just talking to someone without the want of getting laid, only to form a bond with a possible friend. Since he only used one word of his native tongue, she was able to infer what he meant, and engraved it into her brain, to remember for use, since she found the want to be able to chat, even primally basically, with Blitz, it would forge them closer if she cared enough to focus on the studious terms of his dialect, and she made that an important goal in her mind, and while it would take away from the hours she would be able to hang out with some potential brutes, it was fine by her, she could actually work with some of her intelligence this way. The Great Dane/Mastiff/Finnish Spitz mix let out a giggle when he began to fluently spill out his language once more, only for her to shake her head at his apology, for she didn’t mind his mess-ups, since she was so used to her mother doing the same, and then she listened closely when he translated his previous terminology. “Why yes, I love America, though I wish I could see the world, you know, experience life in different countries, like Germany, sounds amazing.” Her falsetto syllables formed out, and then she let out a hum as she pondered about his inquiry, only to shake her head, responding with, “Sadly I’m not, since there are no humans to give me such a job, though I always wished I could, to make myself useful. Did you work with your master?”

Blitz had never really thought about traveling to different places really. Her comment didn't apply to his general thinking now that he had moved from Germany to America. He hadn't really thought about moving around. Yes, countries. Blitz didn't really want to move from around because it would mean meeting new people and making sure that his master was always safe in a new and unknown environment. Not cool. The dog was an active fellow, when his master moved, he moved. When his master slept, he was awake. The dog was a loyal one and would never have let anything happen to him while Blitz was still there. But now Blitz wondered how his master was doing now. How he was surviving without the help of his almighty protector. That worried Blitz. The Shepherd had really grown close to his handler in the past three years in Germany and it broke his heart that he was taken away for just protecting him.
Blitz looked back down at Natalia, a quick shiver going down his pack and then he relaxed a little. There was nothing he could do about it. "Really? I've always found it quite annoying." He paused, tilting his head to get a better look at the femme. She was a merle color, Carmel and white yet something like a tan. Why Blitz had just now decided to take notice of her ful color was beyond means. He just was odd that way. He took it from the inside out. Funny canine, he was. The Shepherd waited for her response before continuing in his thickly ruffed accent. "Ahh yes, me and my master worked together lots. I protected him and was a very loyal dog. I'm sorry you have not the chance to work." he answered calmly, a bit pity for the female not bonding and working yet somehow she was lucky in his book.

Now that was one thing that always amused her, canines who thought she had no intelligence just because she adored to flirt and have some fun, though they were horribly wrong, for she had all the knowledge to back herself up in an educated verbal debate, which made up for her lack of muscle mass. Nata was a vixen who adored to learn new things, for she believed there would always be something for her to be clueless of, thus encouraging her to gather even more groupings of facts, and olden tales from those elders that wandered around the streets.
** With her own question directed towards the German Shepherd, she saw the way his face lit up, and another gentle smile lined her inky lips with that, he must have truly loved his master, judging by how his aura completely changed, it must have been amazing, to have cared for someone that much, that it made you flicker on like a light bulb at your memories with them. She had met many of her species who had despised their masters, longed to live a life of freedom away from the two-legged creatures, and that had set a picture in her mind that these humans were terrible things, but by the way Blitz spoke of his own partner, this illusion was beginning to shift into one of a friend instead of a monster. She grinned at his last words, shaking her head as she said, “Ah, but at least you had the chance to do something you loved, and I’m happy for you.” Then her mind wandered over to the topic of what sort of activities he did during that, to which she swished her tassel until it found its place beside her other flank now, to which she asked him, “What did you do with this job of yours?” It had been a long time since the Great Dane/Mastiff/Finnish Spitz mix had been this interested in another canine with no intentions of sleeping with them, and to her surprise, it actually felt good to have a normal conversation without constant throwing of coquettish remarks.

Blitz smiled, happy that he knew something that other Americans didn't. He knew that his job was specially trained in Germany, and they had the best handlers there. He smiled, wagging his tail as he fumbled around with his words before he decided to continue on and answer her question. Natalia seemed quite interested in his story, and Blitz didn't know how to fully translate it through fluent English and not putting in German. "Oh yes'm belle. I worked for both Germanee and American." he paused, biting his tongue on his improper grammatical terms. He wasn't the best, but what wasn't to love about a guy with funny words? Pfft. Depended on the femme or brute on the receiving line. He leaned in, rocked on his haunches and proceeded to continue on for the female before him.
"I did protection for master in Germanee. After I attacked a man for trespassing onto my lands, I was sent to death in kennels. American girl came and stole me and brought me here to work for police and secret service. Then they was attacked. Because of me." he stopped flatly, a disappointed look plastered on his face as he spoke the last words. People, innocent people had been killed and attacked because of him. He was worth lots and America had stolen him- well, saved him really. He was grateful, but sorry. He returned his gaze to the colored female before him, a smile barely scraping across his muzzle. His eyes glazed in misery and half happiness, eager that someone was listening to his entire story. Finally. The truth could be told.

Plumed tassel sashayed from side to side as his thickly accented chords touched upon the once silent atmosphere, her semi-flopped lobes perking forward at a broad angle, swiveling a bit to drain every single syllable spoken, she adored his manner of speaking, it was just so exotic and adorable, and dare she say, beautiful? It was like a miniature symphony for her tympanic membrane, and it didn't grate like the horrid choppiness some of her fellow Americans drawled in, especially the males, to which she shook her head at that thought, already knowing that she liked the European lines of canines more so than her own natives, just because they respected women a bit more, along with their own oddities that didn't make them perfect Barbie dolls and what-not, whether it be in their way of talking or just small scars that marred their bodies from a job.
** Her tail then stilled as it found its way back to her flank, golden voids locked on his own molten pair, being the audience to his story, Blitz now giving her the tale as to what he did back in his country for that occupation he held with respect, the maiden oh so curious as to what this was, considering she had been only in this humble domain for all her life, thus never got to be witness to all the possibilities in the world. A certain sadness began worming it’s way around her heart when he finished the edition of his past, especially about his family gone, something he obviously blamed on himself, to which she attempted a manner of comforting him in a strangely shy way considering this was Natalia, for she dipped her muzzle forward and touched her snout to his shoulder gently before murmuring out, “I’m so sorry.” The Great Dane/Mastiff/Finnish Spitz mix then drew back, not wanting to make him feel uncomfortable, to which her eyes then noticed the chain collar around his neck, and she wondered if that had been given to him by his handler, though she did not voice this, for she didn't want to open any healing wounds. Her gaze made its way back up to his own, seeing the glaze in his optics, and she gave him another sweet expression, though the soft moment was broken when a trash can fell over, a raccoon scurrying its way across the street, to which she let out a giggle of amusement, then standing up and offering to him, “Would you like to take a walk around the town? Perhaps you’ll find some place to stay?” There was that lingering hint in her words that she didn't even know, but it was like she was hoping that he would stay in this town and not move on to the next, she liked the German Shepherd’s company, it was a nice aura he held.

His wounds had been healed, he was still furious about his mistake and whatever else he had done to the horror of his master, how disappointed he must have been at Blitz. It saddened the male, his dark chocolate colored eyes moaning for the better times he had in his own home country in Germany. His once curled tail loosened gently, falling down to between his hocks, sturdiness of the brute seemed to fade away as well as his life. He felt his life flash before his eyes, so panic-filled and horrific, screaming and sorrow filled eyes gazed upon him and batted at him for his mistake. An honest one, but a costly one. He had done it out of fear and natural instinct, not to kill the man but to warn him flatly. He was dog, not human. How was Blitz to know he should have ignored him? He felt cruelty upon his shamed face, people should try to understand the language of dogs instead of expecting dogs to cope with the human beliefs.
His eyes must have glazed over into history, because the next thing he knew surprised him so much he trembled for a second, forcing his eyes to open onto the modern today in America, with the comforting female there to accompany him while listening to his dreaded story. Usually a thickly accented voice to most American canines was bad news, they would flee in fright or in cheerful jeering of the brute and leave the beauty stranded. Blitz was used to nothing but anti-social canines throughout America, and the femme gently touching his wound was a strong move and was greatly appreciated by his heart and mind. It was a good build for them. "Thank you for your symm..symvathhee." he was suddenly interrupted by a shot sounding in his ears, and Blitz was caught off guard by the female's eagerness, Natalia was extremely bouncy and Blitz, being new to the American culture of dogs, was new to the whole interaction thing with other hyper canines.
"Yes, I vould like that very.. much. Natalia, do you have a place to stay?" he asked, German accent slightly more off this time but still thickly accounted for in the 'v' sounds. He got to his feet, lifted his haunches off the creaky wooded side gates of the little shoppes, sun glaring off his black sleek fur, pelted onto his back thickly to protect him from the harsh winters in Germany. He nodded politely to usher Natalia first off the steps, kindly stepping back for the lady to exit and show the brute around Saddle Creek.

She bobbed her head happily when he thanked the mixed breed for her actions, it was her genuine pleasure, it always was, to help people, especially such attractive specimen like himself, tall, dark, and unbelievably roguish in their own rugged manner, giving that mysterious aura around him. That was when Natalia halted the train of thought, not wanting to go there, for if she turned on that flirtatious side of her mentality, it would take a lot of concentration to turn it back off, and she didn't want to confuse the poor guy, after all, he was being cordial with her, polite and quaint, and who was she to act all promiscuous around such a gentleman, when such things were lost in the world already? Her tassel wagged slowly as the noise echoed its ways through the street, and she proclaimed her offer to him, to lead him around and possibly help him settle down, where she would be able to visit him every once in a while, no need to let such a prize slip through her fingers.
** The femme's golden voids traced the guise of Blitz, grinning in a good-natured excerpt of behavior when he confirmed her plan, a fuzzy feeling traveling along her veins, and maybe it was the sensation of being blessed with yet another couple of hours with a potential companion, one she would be able to trust once she got to know him better. After all, in this ghastly town, you needed all the friends you could get, for most of the dogs around here wouldn't hesitate in slicing your throat to end your life just because they thought you were weird, they needed no real reason, but for every killer there was a sweetheart, and the Spitz mix enjoyed being around those canines. A giggle erupted from her throat in a soft caliber as she jumped off the steps, her bodice barely grazing past his chest as she landed on solid ground, taking in his inquiry before answering back with, “Sort of, sometimes I stay with my parents in this abandoned house they found, but I only go once in a while nowadays, I don’t like to bother them, so I just go where the wind takes me, y’know? Though there are plenty of dens and buildings to sleep in, so I never have to worry about freezing to death outside, it only gets a bit chilly indoors when you’re alone. But don’t worry Blitz, you won’t have to worry about anyone threatening your food or position in this town, just one glance at your hunky self and they’ll be running like cowards.” A snort ended that sentence as she looked up at him teasingly, for he was lucky to have such a dominating appearance, no one would mess with him, but one scope over her own frame, and all the males would begin to bug her without pause, thinking they would be able to take advantage of her. Such fools.
