A really stupid, dumb one, but hey, it would keep her occupied for the next hour or so. Her encounter with the strange Catahoula mix named Jessie had put her to wonder whether or not she knew herself like in reality. He had convinced her of a few things, the weird dog was just so random that neither Corinne nor Jessie knew who they really were. Of course, Corinne used to. The poor female now had no idea what she was going to do with herself. With this cold winter and everything, with the temperatures falling, Corinne's fur was often shivering, or her tongue was really. She hadn't drunk a good bit of water in a few days, the only thing she was able to get was a few sips from the lake yesterday, but even that water tasted yucky and needed some rain to refresh it. It was beginning to get cooler now that summer was almost over, or Corinne hoped it would be, so she could imagine herself playing in at the beach- that was what she wanted so badly. Her nose had picked up fresh scents of dogs over in the east side of town, so she decided to head over there. She was totally unaware that the scents were bloodstained permanently onto a landmark where nasty dogs fought, Corinne had no idea. When her nose led her around to a white saloon territory, every single bone in her body became still, her muscles tensed up so bad she was like a robot- barely walking, and when she did they were stiff movements, causing the klutz to fall over on her face. Corinne did not think it was funny, she had trouble when her body got all in her protective mode, she didn’t know why she couldn’t get relax and let it go away… for some reason, but her body would be too ill to ever relax properly again, for all her years fighting for survival, all by herself.., she really wanted prince charming to walk into her life right around this time, she wanted someone to comfort her so that she knew she would be protected…even when her time came to die…and she really needed to get over the fact that everyone dies sometime. If so, Corinne could die today, maybe she would drown- who knows. Even as we speak some dogs were dying, are dying to this minute- either abuse or old age, and that’s what scared Corinne. She didn’t like thinking about going to heaven, even if there was a doggie heaven…maybe…she didn’t know. Closed for Shadow. [/scrolly] |
