Soot has her nickname for a reason, she is black from head to toe. There is no other color on this female, aside from her eyes. Her nose is the same black as her fur, not at all standing out. If you ask her, she also has a few interesting markings, of course they are nearly the same shade as the rest of her coat and therefore hard to spot. Her fur itself is rather slick and smooth, feathering out around the edges, but not really sticking out in a way to make her look like a giant fluff ball or anything.
She has a broad, deep chest and rather long legs. Perfect for running and giving her a larger range to defend herself in combat. She has a thicker muzzle with a broad face to match her chest and otherwise large stature. Soot's mouth is usually in a straight line, hiding the dull white teeth that are hers. She has a few chipped and broken teeth, which may be a reason why she does not often show them. Or because she does not have a lot to smile about. Either or. Finally, Soot has bright yellow eyes, which always seem to stand out.

Soot is a very selfish and self-centered female. Unless you are direct blood-line, do not expect her to actually give a shit about you, at all. Even if she acts like a friend or like someone who cares about you, she is probably just using you in some way or another. A manipulative bitch, this female is always trying to better herself in life. She does not care who she steps on or walks over to get what she wants or what she has to do to get there. Maybe she would not be this way if she was not such a good liar and others did not believe her false kindness. Or maybe it is because she was always the favored child.
Soot is used to being treated better than everyone else. She expects, no demands, special treatment where ever she goes. She is so used to being waited on hand and foot that it pisses her off when others think she should do something for herself. This spoiling that her family gave her has also led to Soot almost always getting what she wants and throwing fits when she does not. On that same note, she is a sore loser and is far too proud to ever admit someone else is better than her or that she is wrong. In fact, no one is better than Soot. She is the most amazing living creature in existence and is disgusted by the idea of someone thinking they are even close to being as great as she is.
Over all, Soot is a tough female. She can handle herself in bad situations, even if she does not appear like she can sometimes. She is a very greedy and power hungry canine. She is vain and always wants to be in charge, which is another reason she enjoys her ability to manipulate others. Not to mention, then she does not have to get her paws dirty doing undesirable things.

Soot is one of many born to the 'best' family of Cecidisse Interitius. Her great, great, great, great grandfather was one of the first Alphas of Cecidisse Interitius and began the tradition of inbreeding and selecting only the most perfect Lapponian Herders to breed with in an attempt to remove any impurities such as light coats. He often killed children that were not of proper color and eventually passed his teaching onto his family, showing them that it is only right to breed with perfect dogs. Eventually, this tradition carried down to Orthrus and Shisa who had beautiful, dark pups who they pre-arranged mates for to keep the perfect bloodlines going. However, two pups went against this and mated together being brother and sister.
Dabilla and Xolotl, while perfect and beautiful Lapponian Herders on their own produce the first of several 'beasts'. Since their mating (which was a bit disturbing on its own) that resulted in the five legged beast known as Cerberus, the family seemed to fall under some sort of curse. Soon, the pups of the gorgeous Carcin and Dia'Khit seemed to undergo the colors as well (although not quite as bad). Their pups were a mix of reddish oranges and other colors, often having extra legs and their own, ugly offspring. However, there was one pup of their little who proved to be an exception.
The young Soot was a perfect pup and just what their ancestors had bred to produce. The youngest female was born with a pure black coat and yellow eyes. Of course, she did not have extra legs, but they assumed she could easily be carrying the genes to pass onto her children. The pretty young female was immediately favored by the rest, always being babied and pampered so that she was kept happy, in hopes she would remain loyal to the family and their traditions to produce more children like herself and not entirely disgrace the idea with dogs who are a disgrace to the Lapponian Herder name.
For this reason, Soot had a wonderful pup hood. She was always favored by her family and even the other wolves appreciated her beauty. She almost always got what she wanted, but has not always been pleased. Of course, while she was younger all she cared about was herself and being the best of the best and getting the best of the best. However, now she is older, Soot realizes the curse that Rona and Roman brought to Cecidisse Interitius and has since joined in with her family to bring the pack back to perfection and make the species what it once was. She has had traditions beat into her mind and is happy to carry them on, although she has yet to get involved in any of the 'dirty work', leaving that to her siblings, as they are not nearly as desirable as her anyway. Soot now lives in Cecidisse Interitius waiting for her chance to rise to power and bring the pack back to perfect health.
