SOUNDTRACK pandora! i mainly made this for mayday to jump in with ryland, but anyone else who wants to jump in can. including little miss kira. A little dog's pink nose lifted to the wind, taking in the scents that drifted along helplessly bound in the strong current. Her eyes fluttered open, revealing delicate orange eyes to the sky as the red dog surveyed the skies. As storm closed rolled across town they carried along with them the smell of rain. Though it was faint, but the female could still scent the salted taint of it. A storm was coming and, though she didn't normally mind bad weather, she didn't want to be caught in the rain.
The female eyes scanned the area as she mentally scanned her memories, trying to gather the scattered pieces of what she had done with her adopted offspring Kira. She began retracing her steps, 'Let's see. This morning I woke and she was gone, so I began to find her trail. And it led me here... Why? Maybe I just had the wrong scent trail. The pup wanders off all the time. No reason to worry, right?' Marvela was hardly comforted by these thoughts about Kira. Sure, the pup ran off a lot. But she'd never gone off this far. It had to be an old trail, perhaps from when Kira had traveled to the theatre, where they currently resided, while trying to find Marvela. But no, that couldn't be it. Her nose would have picked up on the age of the scent.
"Ah, well. There's not much I can do. If a storm is rolling in, she'll find me." the female spoke, her delicate voice carrying on the wind. She hadn't spoken loudly, in fact it was more of a whisper to herself, but the silence of her surroundings carried her voice and spread it across the land. It was a surreal feeling to wallow in your own pitiful loneliness. Ever since Kira had walked into the picture, well, there wasn't much time to feel completely and utterly lonely. The constant companion of another canine was, in it's own sense, like a drug. Once you got used to it, you became addicted to it. As helpless without it as a fish out of water.
The rain that fell from the sky like tears slowly began to bother the red dog. It had begun as nothing more than light showers that were tolerable at best had grown to a pelting back of rocks. Or at least that's what it felt like to the little red dog as the rain met her back with force, soaking her orange fur. The female stood in the rain for another second, trying to get hold of her panicking mind, before finally gaining control of her feet. She ran over the hard gravel. There was shelter around here, she knew it. Granted, it wasn't the best shelter due to the fact that it usually smelled back from inhabiting animals, but it was shelter none the less.
The female ran in the only direction she knew: straight ahead like a steam train. Finally, her eyes began to register the large train cart on the horizon. She grunted, pushing herself to run harder. She'd done it before while hunting which made it all the more puzzling as to why she couldn't do it now. Perhaps she wasn't quite one hundred percent in control of herself yet. Either way, her reliable paws finally got her to the train car, though she was soaked through to the bone.
The female make a quick escape, ducking under the train, pressing her tail into her thigh, and sinking into the tracks that laid beneath her skeleton. She shivered slightly from the cold of being out in the rain, though she slowly began to heat up as she began to slowly but surely dry off. "Finally," she spoke, her eyes slipping closed. She hardly paid attention to the creaking train cart above her head.

[atrb=width,500,true][bg=483b2b]
Cold steel was underneath his belly, but from the time of laying on it, it was warming up. His large head was rested on his paws and his eyes stared out. He was resting up in a old train cart, looking out of it and watching the world around him. Breathing in, he smelled the scent of rain but from where he was at in the cart, he could not see the sky. But just as soon as he smelled rain, drops of water fell from the sky. Within a minute of the rain falling, a streak of golden fur ran across the field and underneath the cart that Ryland laid in. Blinking, and confused in what he should do, the large creature slowly got up. His bones cracked and snapped as he got to his paws, and pain ran through his body. He gave out a small whimper, and cursed the rain. The rain mostly caused this pain in his joints, but it didn't help he was laying on cold, hard steel.
Sighing, the large male jumped out of the cart, his jump was flawless and graceful, and he jumped down on all paws with a soft thud. Rain pelted on his sleek grey coat, and the brindle coloring throughout his coat hid in the wetness. Smelling the air, he followed the dog's path. Female, he thought to himself, smiling lightly and then trotted off to find her. Coming up to the cart, his legs came up to the train, and it was nearly impossible to get him underneath there.Taking a step back, he craned his body and neck to look underneath it. Hello? He said, trying to see the dog. Pain ran up his neck and spine from the awkward position, but he ignored it. Green eyes peered out, and finally he spotted the female. The train is open so you don't have to lay underneath it. Come out, it's nice and warm and out of the rain and dirt. Ryland said, staring at her with a warm smile.
Moving away from the cart so she could get out, he stood there waiting. He knew that it wouldn't take very long before the orange female presented herself in front of him. Rain poured itself over his body, but he did not care. Honestly, it felt good to his hot skin, and it cooled him down. But it was cold, and there was wind with the rain, and Ryland knew that it wasn't too good for his bones and muscles. Wrinkling up his nose, he looked up to the sky. It was dark, and heavy rain clouds lingered over him. Great He thought, rolling his eyes. Ryland liked warm weather, this cold stuff he couldn't take, at least not now anyways. Feeling cold, and starting to shiver, the beast held his composure. It wouldn't be too long that they would be in the cart out of the rain.

SOUNDTRACK none marv is being unusually kind today. with my muse anyway. XD It didn't take long for the mass of grey to crowd the hole Marvela had slipped into, blocking her rays of what little sunshine peeked through to storm clouds above. She groaned a moment, though it wasn't too loud so the red dog wasn't sure if this dog had heard her. It wasn't long before his deep, booming vocals filled the dog's ear drums, "The train is open so you don't have to lay underneath it. Come out, it's nice and warm and out of the rain and dirt."
Her head lifted with his words, drowning herself in them before finally lifting her head to acknowledge the dog, her head narrowly missing the brake system that intertwined above her skull. 'Someone wants company.' she thought, unable to really find her voice as she moved toward the hole, resting her paws on the rail the two "tires" to her sides floated on. "Perhaps the alternative to the mud makes it look like nothing." she spoke, her words coming out more harsh than she would have liked. Her eyes ran up and down this male, taking in every deep curve of what little muscle a stray could have. Boy, this guy needed a hunt. Badly.
Besides his slightly noticeable muscle, the male was actually quite handsome. His coat was mainly blue, though it had much darker markings running across it. This was what the pet dogs called 'brindle'. She'd only seen it about two other times, though she'd heard it right out of the lips of the all-knowing Kira, so she'd known exactly what to look for when identifying the coat patterns. However, in all her cases of brindle colors, she'd never seen such an entrancing view. Rather than being the normal brown, it was a base of blue with the black stripes she found to enticing. It was quite interesting to the female and, more often than not, the pattern drew Marvela away from actually seeing the canine.
The long moments of silence finally broke the dog's stare as she watched, finishing her survey of the dog. There wasn't much else to see other than his lightly colored eyes and his dominant stance. Clearly he was one to watch. She'd seen make arrogant males in her time carrying themselves this way. "I don't believe I caught your name, mister.....?" her words trailed off into a question as she looked up at the male expectantly. She could tell this male would probably step on her toes a bit just by the way he walked. And she knew she would be asserting herself in a much different manner than what she was used to.
"My name is Marvela, but you will be calling me Lady Marvela." she spoke, being sure the place an emphasis on the fact that she was demanding manners from him just like a mother would demand them from their child. The female shook her red mane, soft curls replacing her once far more wet coat. She slowly crawled forward through the wheels, shaking herself once more to bring back the feeling in all her limbs. "I think I will be joining you inside the train box." she spoke, turning toward the massive structure before her.
This large cart had obviously been an easy scale for the brute, due to the fact that he was a much larger dog than Marvela, but she was determined to get up there without any help. Her muscles bunched as her body dropped toward the floor. Suddenly, her muscles sprang free and she was launched into the car with ease. Letting out a satisfied purr then turned back to the male, "You coming?" Her head tilted to the side, ears cocked, as she moved away from the entrance, making herself at home in a broken down bale of hay.

He watched as the small framed dog entered underneath the cart. She was small, and dainty, beautiful in her own way, but also very well mannered. She seemed stable, and not all crazy, clingy or neurotic as most females did. She had class, and respect for herself, and Ryland could already tell this from her. As she got up, she smelled of pine trees, and this made Ryland's mouth watered. She was everything the brute wanted, but he knew a girl like that would take a lot to ever be with a guy like him. His body was filled with scars, even his face was scared up, with scared up puncture holes along the bridge of his nose and the lips- but what do you expect from a fighting dog? He also was toned, but not as much as he should be. He was big none the less, but also skinny. There were muscles underneath his beautifully silver and blue coat, but they were more prominent when he moved. His ribs poked through his slick coat, but it really didn't bother Ryland.
Green eyes with a golden outline and blue specks stared at the female like how she was staring at him. She was so cute, and Ryland had never seen a female that he wanted more than her. His heart ran against his chest, and he did not know why. She had light colored eyes, and bright orange fur that was long and kept clean. Blinking twice, he moved his eyes, ashamed that he had gawked for so long, but he also didn't realize that she was doing the same. Then the girl talked, and her words flew around his ears, playing with his heart and twisting with his mind. Umh. I'm.. Um.. Ryland. He said, stumbling over his words and lost within her voice. This was the first time that he was ever so mesmerized over someone before. Feeling stupid, the beast blush and looked away, ashamed that he had just done that.
Soon after she asked for his name, she gave hers. Marvela, Lady Marvela.. He thought, now his eyes were back on her, and everything seemed to be in slow motion. He didn't know why he was feeling like this, it wasn't lust- he knew what lust was. He felt like that whenever some tramp came strolling his way, but she, she was different. Okay, Lady Marvela.. He said, giving her a light smile. He wouldn't try to push his luck too much with her, at least not this short of a time anyways. But it wouldn't be too long before the old Ry would be out and about again. Yes, I think you better, this rain... It's horrible. He said, with a soft tone in his expression, and a caring look in his orbs. The rain in which he forgot about was still pouring down on him. He watched her as she shook the rain off her pelt, and decided that would be a good idea.
Walking about two feet away from her, he shook himself too. His body moved, and water went flying around him. Drops of water really didn't stay on to his thin coat, so there wasn't too much to shake off and plus he dried off easily. Before he even knew it, the small orange dog was leaping up into the cart and he was amazed. He stood there with a dumbfounded, stupid look on his face, and blinked several times. She's amazing.. He thought. He heard his voice over his thoughts and rain, and quickly came to her. Yes, Lady Marvela, he said calmly, but as 'lady' came from his voice, his eyes rolled. He leaped into the cart, easily and carelessly. Water off his coat dripped off of him and onto the steel.
As he got into the car, she was already huddled up in a pile of hay. Smiling, he trotted over to her, green eyes not leaving her sight. About two and a half feet away from her, he sat down. Another smile came over his lips, as he sat and stared at her.

SOUNDTRACK none bleh bleh bleh! such a crappy post. sorry. >.< The little female was more than aware of the large dog's eyes unphased from her figure, though she didn't find herself annoyed by this. In fact, she found it to be quite the opposite. She found it to be quite empowering, like this male had instantly been wrapped around her finger, though she wasn't quite sure why she was feeling this way. Normally she would have snapped at a dog for staring at her since it was quite a rude thing to do, though now the female hardly felt like correcting him. She spoke up anyway, though, slightly disappointed the fun would probably end once she finished, "Staring is rude, you know."
Marvela's gaze switched from the leg she had been cleaning to the large male that sat inches away from her, a sly smile toying with her pink lips. "If you're going to do it, Mist Ryland, you might as well do it in secrecy. It's far less creepy." the words floated from her lips effortlessly as she shifted herself so that she was facing the brindled male rather than away from from. No matter how much staring this male was doing without bothering to cover it up, it would still be quite rude for the female the face away from the canine she was talking to.
The dog found herself growing uncomfortable, not from the male himself, but rather from the way she was sitting. Normally hay was one of the dog's favorite 'mattresses' as the humans would call it, though she only found herself growing anxious. Perhaps it was just the fact that she needed to run. Which brought the female to her next question for the dog, "When was your last meal, anyway? A bulky breed like yourself deserves to have some meat on their bones."

The handsome male suddenly felt ashamed, he realized that he was staring. Moving his graze at his paws, a sheepish smile covered his lips and his face showed his remorse. I'm sorry, but soon his old self came back and his head popped up. Cocking his head to the side, he gave her a question look. Why are you so bothering of me staring? Not use to being looked upon? You would be pretty if you gave yourself out a little bit more. No one likes a shrewd girl. He said, his words harsh but his golden eyes soft with kindness. His paws shuffled underneath him, and he felt like his words were a tad harsh. He liked her, and actually liked her. The breath was taken out of his lungs and words lost within the air.
He watched as she started to feel uncomfortable, and she hoped that he didn't add to it. Clearing his throat, Ryland sat there biting his lip. He was becoming bored, but still didn't want to lose interest. She was different, and he knew it. Her words entered Ryland's ears, but no reply came to mind. No one had asked him before why he was so skinny, no one really saw past his size to notice his bones. Letting out a grunt, he shook his head. Maybe because i don't have a woman around to make me something? He said, a sparkle in his eyes. He knew this would surely set her off in a pissed off frenzy. Ryland had a goofy smile on his face with happy, charming eyes.

Acting. "Speaking." Thinking.
Dark coffee nose pointed skyward, the nostrils twitching as scents were easily delivered. Like tiny messengers, the dog's nose receptors told the brain what it was smelling. The light brown dog, of course, didn't know exactly why she could tell what she was smelling, and she didn't particularly care, either. All that was known, was that rain was on the horizon, and shelter ought to be sought.
The dog shook its thick head, dark eyes rolling skyward in slight irritation. "'She' feels so wrong today. Time to fuck up some minds, then, I s'pose. Looks like I'm Blythe today!" she - he, now - spoke aloud. Blythe was biologically female, and was born with the name Sibyll. However, this did not always feel like it fit. Today was one of those days. Today was a Blythe day.
With a sigh, Blythe moved his thick-furred body, wide paws carrying a wide frame. The Eurasier mix had a thick set of bones and the wild, thick coat to make him look larger than he truly was. This, though, he was quite thankful for. It meant that he could easily pass for male - if only he could disguise his scent. The femininity of his fur, the softness of his gaze, the slight rock of his hips was the only thing that could give him away. Even his voice could be made low enough to sound male without it sounding odd and fake.
"I probably won't be eating for a day or two. Damn that sucks. Hope this rain passes by soon, 'else I'm gonna starve to death! Momma was a slut, but, fuck, at least I had food all the time. Oh, Mom, if only you could see me now. Wonder what you'd say? Probably call me a freak, eh? Oh well, I understand; I get it a lot." he laughed to himself, speaking out loud as he did normally. Blythe talked sometimes just to hear himself talk. However, it wasn't always voluntary. Sometimes, he just forgot to shut his mouth and keep his thoughts to himself.
"Sal... Wonder what you'd think, Sis. Would you call me a freak, or would you quietly follow me, like always?" Blythe's voice grew somber, his eyes softening, the laughter dying. Even his steps slowed to a depressing pace, paws dragging as he thought of his sister. "Damn it all, Sal. Why didn't I listen to you?" he sighed, stopping. Blythe allowed himself to stay quiet and still for a moment longer before furiously shaking his head. "Enough of that, Blythe. You need shelter. Stop all this depressing nonsense," he growled to himself, forcing his legs to continue.
It didn't take very long for him to come upon an abandoned train car. Eager with his finding, Blythe grinned wide, his dark Chow-tongue lolling from his mouth. His light tail wagged furiously, the long strands of fur tickling his sides. By this time, the rain was coming down hard, and his fur was soaked. Even so, the thickness of his coat still kept his ribs from showing, though if he turned the right way, one could still make out at least two of his ribs.
Blythe was so pleased with himself, he forgot to check for other scents, instead barreling forward like a bear on salmon. In one easy leap, he was in the car. Still smiling, he shook out his coat, droplets of water flying from his coat and dropping down at his paws, and even spraying the insides of the car. Finally, the dog looked around, and he froze. Two other dogs were already before him. Slipping his tongue back in his mouth, Blythe shut his jaws. He didn't speak, and didn't move; his eyes the only things moving from the dog lying, to the dog sitting.
OOC; Mayday, Brave told me I could join in. If you don't want me to, just say so, and we can pretend this never happened. (:

Not this time. Kira was pretty sure her foster had forgotten about her, remembering the strict words, “Don’t move a muscle Kira, stay here, I’ll be right back.” Before the Nova Scotia turned on her heels and walked out to do who knew what. It had been a little too long, though, since Marvela left, therefore the french bulldog gave herself the responsibility of finding her in case she had gotten herself lost out there in the crazy world. “Holy Crap, it’s friggin’ freezing out here!” She squealed after a couple minutes of walking from the theater, the place where she called home. Finally coming closer to the lingering scent she knew fairly well, drawing near to the train station, causing her head to cock to the right. What the heck was Marvela doing here? She thought to herself, sliding under a train to stay hidden from the voices she heard rumbing from inside, one was definitely Lady M’s.
Quickening her pace, but lowering her body as the train seemed to get closer to the ground, nearly squashing her tiny frame as she came to a near running pace towards the car containing the rust colored dog. Snorting at the conversation involving a male and the Lady-Like canine, listening intently and waiting for a chance to hop in. After a moment, or so of pure silence, Kira took her chance, slipping away from the train, and making a short leap towards the cart door, closing her eyes when she saw- per-plunk! Hitting her cranium on the metal box before fallling back to the cement ground with a huge headache, also, it didn’t help she was laying on her back, which meant she probably wasn’t gonna be able to get up all by herself. “Help, I’ve been hit!” She called to them, hoping they would take a break from each other and come to her rescue as she flailed her stubby legs in the air, rolling back and forth, trying to get up, but failing.
Chocolate eyes narrowing on the male next to her, preparing to make him into a week’s worth of meals if he even tried to infiltrate upon their life as a pair of girls, that wasn’t gonna happen under Kira’s watch. It was going o be difficult, she could tell by the incredibly large stance of the brute with her new mommy, growling low in her throat, waiting for someone, anyone really to just squat down and pick her up, it was absolutely ridiculous!

Not use to being looked upon? You would be pretty if you gave yourself out a little bit more. No one likes a shrewd girl." the words struck the female like a whip would strike a back. Her eyes immediately locked with his and, if it weren't for the playful look in his eyes, Marvela would not have taken well to the comment. She'd never really had a canine stare at her. Or maybe she just never payed attention to it when it happened. Either way, no canine made it such a big deal for the female to notice. Maybe he really wasn't trying to get noticed by her and he was just caught looking at her for a little longer than he intended. Maybe he didn't really mean for it to be noticed, maybe she just noticed it because, in her own way, she didn't want to take her eyes off him. Not for the fact that he was an attractive canine, but because of the way he acted. He was much less of a player than the red dog was admitting to herself. Just because it was easier for her to admit distaste than affection.
"Well, Mister Ryland. You may have over stepped your boundaries just a tad." she spoke, ears flattening as her orange eyes tore from his own and landed on her paw. She knew she had to answer his comment more thoroughly, but she wasn't quite ready to tell him every little detail about how she'd put herself out for a male only to be disappointed by his forceful ways. The female glanced up at the male for a split second, quickly returning her gaze to her wore-down pink nails, "I had my moments. I may not be old, but there was a time when I gave myself out more easily, Mister Ryland. And I was put in my place by a male who clearly knew what he was doing." The female grew hot from embarrassment. Why was she opening herself up so easily? This was hardly normal and she shouldn't have been doing it, but she couldn't keep her mouth from forming the words, "And then I was let down again when it turned out I couldn't do my job as well as I thought for fear of the impact on my own life. So I'd say it's better to be safe than sorry."
Her ears perked, head cocking as she inhaled the male's venomously playful words, "Maybe because i don't have a woman around to make me something?" The female laughed softly, though she was sure to keep her eyes away from his own. This was just his game: the simple routine of a brute who loved females for what they could give him. Her stomach churned at the thought and her eyes met his, "I'll believe a grown male, much bigger and more powerful than any female I've ever seen, would need the help of a female the day I see pigs fly." The dog laughed at her own words as if they were the funniest thing she'd ever heard. It had just been such a long time since she laughed like that it was something completely foreign to her, "We both know that day won't come within my lifetime, Ryland."
The moment of silence Lady M had managed to steal with this brindled male was quickly interrupted when she heard the shuffle of gravel outside the train car. The female eyes rolled, a puff of air leaving her lungs only to be replaced with a sharp inhale; something the humans would call a sigh. "How was I ever felt lonely, I wonder?" the words slipped out short and tempered as her eyes rolled, resting again on the male that sat across from her. "Hope he's friendly" she thought to herself, a slight smile tugging at her pink lips.
The fluffy dog jumped into the cart a moment before Lady could readjust her gaze to fix on the large hole dogs seemed so drawn to. The dog was quite attractive. Though he was a bit too fluffy for the female's liking, he had a proud stance about him that exuded confidence without doing it. There was still a slight hesitation in the way he stood, though, that told the female he wasn't really one for conversation. Just in case the fact that he had frozen at the sight of Ryland and herself freezing the dog in his tracks hadn't tipped her off that he wasn't one for exchanging names. This dog was quite the curious fellow and, though she couldn't really tell what, the dog liked him. Maybe it was just that he'd saved her from being alone with Ryland or maybe it was actually that she liked something about him. She wasn't sure, but it wasn't tough to be drawn to him.
Marvela pushed herself to her feet, shaking off the bits of hay that clung to her rust-colored fur. A warm smile crossed her maw ad she welcomed the dog without words. She wasn't exactly sure what to say, since he seem flighty anyhow, but she figured a simple hello would do, "Why hello there." Her tail wagged softly, ears perking and head cocking at the sight of this new and exciting stranger. So many possibilities without a name or an idea of a personality coming from their own mouth, not their body language. Though the female had always closely tuned herself to body language in hopes of improving her hunting skills, she found it never did help when attempting to assess a personality. It was quite useless in a sense.
The female's attention was once again ripped from her preoccupation as an unfamiliar noise rang inside her ears. The red retriever quickly ran to poke her head out the cart door, where the noise had originated, only to find the white bundle of fat and temper lying on her back in the gravel, "Help, I've been hit!" Immediately, the dog burst into laughter at the sight of the pup on her back, paws flailing helplessly in the air. The dog was ridiculous at times, though she always knew how to keep things interesting and make an entrance. The female shook her head, clicking her tongue, "You should really know better by now, Kira. What have you been up to? Too busy to stick by your m-" The female had quickly caught herself from the slip-up. "Mom....." she finished in her head, blinking down at the pup, her face drained of any spirit it had had before the pup had entered. "guardian." she spoke, finishing her sentence.
The female hopped down into the gravel, touching down gracefully as she bent down to gently grab the pup by the scruff. She lifted, letting out a highly exaggerated grunt as if to imply the pup was a chunky little thing. The female jumped half-hearted, her front paws resting on the edge of the door while her other two stayed in the gravel. She placed the pup on the cold floor and gently nuzzled her, "Scoot over, little tyke." The smile finally returned to her face as she waited for the pup to move and then jumped back into the car, reclaiming her spot in the sweet smelling hay.

The orange dog was obviously offended by his words, and Ryland's cropped ears flattened against his head. His eyes turned from playful to a repenting his words. Eyes flickering from her to his paws, he felt his cheeks growing hot- for once the female made the brute blush, and he was becoming nervous in front of her. Clenching his jaws, his graze picked back up, and a tad smile covered his lips. Awh, c'mon Lady, I hope you know I'm just kidding. But his tone of voice and facial expression clearly stated that he was sorry for offending the female. It was nearly impossible to hear the dog say say unless 100 percent needed, and he did not feel that the percentage was that high. The blushing went away, but he still felt like the air was hot and thick, and his skin was melting away. Gulping down a dry lump in his throat, the usually cool, smooth-talking male, was turning into a stuttering, blushing asshole.
As Lady's Marvela's voice touched his ears, his green hazed eyes scanned her once more. His head cocked to the side, and she was telling him a story about her heartbreak. So that's her problem. She's been heartbroken... A warm smile entered his maw, as sadness came over him. Well, who ever hurt you, needs to get their ass beat. Any male foolish enough to leave behind a girl like you, doesn't deserve your heart anyways. He said, his tone prideful and a cute, half smile covered his jaws. His eyes now danced with joy, not joy over her pain, but joy that he hoped that she would realize that his words were true. The pretty orange dog continued with her story, and Ryland just nodded as a reply. Well, not every male is like that. Just because one did you wrong, don't be going around hating the whole male population. His words came out a tad harsh, but now he was becoming mad. I've been hurt before, but I don't hate the game, I just hate the player.
Then Lady's words soften up his expression, and a cheerful smile came over him. Laughing at her words, he smiled. I'm made for protecting, not hunting. The male lion does the fighting, while his females does the hunting. That's what I need! A pack of females, feeding me and producing my offspring, while I bathe in the sun and watch you do all the work. A hardy laugh came from his vocal chords, it rippled through him. This was so foreign to him, making jokes but actually laughing at them. This female was different, different than any other girl he has ever came across. Not just different in how she acted, but how she was making Ryland act. Calming down from his laughing state, his green eyes laid upon her. Before anything else could had been said, something ruffled up the essence of the cart.
Hearing nails upon metal, his fur bristled, and a large, fluffy dog leaped up into the Tran's cart. A low growl escaped his jowls, as the large, fluff-ball canine froze up as it saw the others sitting in it. Breathing in, the smell of a female entered his nostrils, but something about her made him uneasy. His eyes traveled with Lady, as she moved over to him. Greeting him with a hello. Ryland did not say a word, and glared at the weird dog. He didn't like it, and before he called her a she something would have to change. Why is she so trusting, this dog could easily attack her.. He was much bigger than her, but still smaller than what he was to the new dog. He did not trust others who acted scared, or shady. Fear is what Ryland could not handle, made him feel uncomfortable and questioning of the canine.
Grinding his teeth, the aura of the dog changed. His silver fur became taunt from his muslces hardening. One false move, and Ryland would be upon him. Clamping his jowls over the dog's throat, and not taking any mercy on the creature. But Lady seemed trusting over him, and this soothed the large beast just a tad, but he still was alert and weary of the dog. Eyes scanned both dogs, from female to female. Anger rising through him. The new arrival wasn't pretty, nor interesting at all. And this just made him even more in rage. She was taking away time from the orange dog. It would be different if the dog acted differently and not stand there gawking at them. Annoyance ran through his veins, and he couldn't play nice anymore. What you gonna do? Stand there all day and just stare at us? He growled, and it wasn't a very friendly sounding one either.
Within seconds after his growl, a yelp came from outside the cart. The words I've been hit! rang through the metal cart and echoed around. Leaping up, a snarl escaped from his throat, as Lady jumped out from the cart. Circling the new dog, he blocked the entrance from the dog escaping. What did you do? Is that why you jumped up in here, frighten? You hurt someone then thought you could get away, but then saw us and realized that your plan went to shit? His words were rough, and angry. His frustration towards the dog and his fear of another dog getting hurt because of it was all rushing out of him. A snarl escaped his jowls as drool dripped out. Green eyes became hard and everything told Ryland to not snap on the larger size dog. The voice of Lady Marvela soothed Ryland, and his fur laid flat against his skin.
She sounded calm, and she said a name. Everything okay? Ryland called out, turning his head as he did, he saw floating pup get placed upon the hard floor of the cart. His brows furrowed, confusion entered through the dog. Did I overreact? He asked himself, eyes turning from chow mix to the fat, white, flat faced pup. Giving a sigh, a dark glare was aimed to the fluffy coated dog. Walking past him to go sit back to where he was originally. He thrush his shoulder out, the target was the dog's body. He wasn't sure if he made impact, or if the dog moved, Ryland didn't turn around to wittiness his attack. Folding his hunches back, his dark eyes glared upon the dog once more. I don't like him... He thought, completely ignoring the pup and Lady getting back into the cart. His eyes just stayed upon the chow mix, burning emerald danced with hate and rage.

Acting. "Speaking." Thinking.
When Blythe had hopped into the car, he hadn't known what he was hopping into. On the one hand, he had no doubt that he could protect himself if he needed to. On the other, he wasn't really a fighter. At all. He was large, sure, and he had the genes of a dangerous breed on his side. But he wasn't a fighter. He didn't even like fighting. He didn't like the idea of hurting others; even if they probably deserved it. That's just the way Blythe was. So, really, his only true option would have been to run, to escape. He wasn't that fast. At all.
Blythe just had to hope that the two dogs he'd hopped in on were friendly. When the other dog, a smaller red-and-white dog - Wow she's fucking gorgeous - stood up to move, his eyes had focused on her, watching her. But she didn't seem aggressive. In fact, she seemed quite friendly. She gave him a warm, beautiful smile, and she spoke with a very beautiful, soft, friendly voice. Blythe was, admittedly, a little dazed for a brief moment, before his own tail wagged and he grinned at her. "Hello!" He said happily, his voice slightly higher-pitched with happiness, though still pretty clearly male.
And then, more words entered his ears, sounding quite pissed off. Blythe looked at the other male, a large, menacing looking dog. He growled at Blythe, something about standing there and staring. Blythe felt a little defensive, his own long fur prickling. "If that's I want to do, then yes. That's what I'm gonna do," he returned the growl, ears swerving back. Despite the growl, however, Blythe had taken a step back, and his weight had shifted to his hind paws. He was readying himself to turn tail and run. He might not have been very fast, but if he had to run for his life, he would. He didn't want a fight, not in the least. But if this dog was going to get all pissy and throw a fucking hissy fit, Blythe was damn well going to defend himself. With words.
There was a banging sound, and Blythe flinched. Then more words. He turned around, but before he could see anything, the blue brindle male had blocked his pack. Well, then. Apparently Blythe would have to use his teeth. He wasn't sure he liked that idea. He didn't like to fight. At all. Ever. But with each word that the large male said, the more confused and angry it made Blythe. What. The. Fuck?! What the hell had Blythe done to him?! Glaring through his dark eyes at the brindle dog, Blythe tried to think back. Had he done something to this dog? Finally, the Eurasier mix couldn't take it anymore. He bared his teeth at the large male, snarling, "What the fuck is your problem? I didn't do a fucking thing, so back the fuck off!" Even as he said it, it was Blythe who was backing away.
Blythe did not want to fight. His entire body said this. His eyes were so round and wide that the whites were showing. One front paw was picked up. His weight had shifted to his hind legs. He would only fight if the other male left him no other option. Thankfully, the dog turned away from him, and Blythe, too, calmed down. His eyes shifted over, watching as a little white puppy was lifted onto the car. Moments later, the pretty red and white female was back up in the car. Blythe felt cornered, but the female simply walked by and took her place in some hay. She probably wasn't a danger to him. Probably. He turned back to the male, who was glaring at him. Blythe glared right back, his ears pinning back.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i45.tinypic.com/2vxhr1f.png] The small cream colored french bulldog exhaled in a exaggerated sigh of relief as she was lifted gently into the old abandoned train cart, in which meant the youngster could very easily keep an eye on these mysterious strangers that had for some reason decided to have a conversation with her guardian. kira licked her rubbery black chops, narrowing her eyes at both of them with a low warning growl. "who are you?" she emotionlessly muttered to the large brindle pelted brute before turning her muzzle towards the fluffy rust colored dog, "and you?" seating herself under marvela' s long, muscled front legs, looking up at the nova scotia duck tolling retriever with hopeful eyes. no longer did the pup wish to stay here, neither one of the newbies seemed to be very friendly, nor did they show any sort of interest in her whatsoever, just marvela. honestly, it wasn't considerably surprising to the small fae, marvela was absolutely gorgeous, well built, perfection to the breed, to any of the canine species. taking another little glance towards the short haired male before staring at the fluffiest of the four canines gathered in the rusty . "what does that word mean? you sure say it bunches mr. so it must be very important." the words rolled off of her tongue as she strolled towards the mutt with young, innocent eyes that had witnessed way to much in the shortest amount of time even possible. whatever these ‘boys’ were going to do, it was unpredictable, so the youngster was preparing herself to fight, or protect for marvela, who kira was for sure would do the same for her, no doubt in her mind. kira had to repay her somehow. now, all she had to do was figure out how they would react, if they were polite, well-behaved young men, oh well, then the frenchie would allow them to get a little closer, but just not too close. never, ever would that happen, if marvela fell in love, then kira would have to share the attention which was simply out of the picture.
OOC- I'm back. <3 Words- 460.
