Name: Khameryn Age: 4 years Gender: Male Breed: Border Collie Appearance: Cameron is slender as most Border Collies are. Upright ears, thing legs, big head- nothing abnormal. His coat is black and white, the black mostly dominant and stretches over his back, head, and thighs, while the white splashes lightly on his face, then covers all four paws and his chest- but doesn't reach his underbelly. His bushy tail is solid black, long., and his fur is rather long as well. The way it flares out around his face gives his head a more square appearance, framing his handsome face where his amber eyes rest. Eyes that are rather small, butattentive anyway. A few scars are scattered across the four-year-old's body, bot nothing that hinders his appearance, and the fur has mostly grown back over those wounds. After traveling alone for two years he was bound to get into a few scuffles. And despite his lanky appearance, he's quite strong. Personality: talkative; There's no doubting Cameron talks a lot, though his choice of words and speech pattern may seem a bit odd to people. He says things like 'milady' and 'my pleasure'- he has a habit of talking very formally. If you talk to him your sure to get an earful, even if you've only asked a simple question like 'how are you', he's likely to answer with a few sentences. He isn't the type to shrug and say alright or something simple, he always has to be in depth. He'll say hello to everyone he passes, stop to ask how they've been. Even by himself he can't help talking, and will remind himself of funny things and laugh to himself about a joke he heard recently. Despite being so talkative, he actually does know when to stop- he never pries for information someone doesn't want to share, and he can tell when a subject is too much for someone. For some, though, his ability to speak without taking a breath for twenty minutes gets tiring.
well-behaved; This border collie will hold his head up in pride- but not arrogantly so. He's friendly and he strives to be polite, never rude. He's respectful, but does expect to be respected in return. He's one of those 'treat others as you wish to be treated' kind of people. However, even if someone is rude or disrespects him, he won't lose his temper or treat them badly. He'll lightly inform them of their behavior, reprimand them with words, then move on his way and avoid them unless they prove to be worthy of a second chance. Not to say he loses faith in people easily, he just isn't one to trouble himself with people who start petty arguments or snap at him for no reason. They aren't worth a bad mood.
friendly; Cameron isn't a huge dog by any means, he's quite average. He can look intimidating for sure when he needs to, but once this child-at-heart opens his mouth you might just see him as a pup. Well, if you don't count his formal manner of speaking that is obviously above a pup's level. He isn't afraid to walk up to someone and start a friendly conversation, male or female. He is a bit careful around males considering some aren't as friendly as he, but not adverse to them by any means, merely wary. He hopes to have many friends to keep even when he's older, so he can always have someone to go to when he's sad or needs to talk, or simply wants to romp around.
easy-going; Cameron isn't easily offended, and even if he does get offended, he's the farthest from tempermental you can get, and he never holds a grudge. He's very good at closing his eyes and turning his head, focusing instead on someone else. Perhaps it seems rude to ignore someone, but he lets that slide past his 'perfect' behavior. Better to be a little rude than angry and wanting to fight, yes? He's a very laid-back male, but not to a lazy point. He just doesn't see a reason to jump up unless there's a real emergency. Just as well, seeing Cameron angry or scared is a very rare occurrence. He just takes everything in stride. History: Cameron's puphood wasn't anything special at all, just the average life for a stray pup. Though, he was born outside of this town. Sure life was a struggle at times, food was scare from time to time, but that was typical. Cameron never did get along with his siblings, however. His brother and three sisters always thought he was odd and rarely talked to him or let him play. The black and white pup was always mimicking other animals, like the odd walk of a pidgeon, or the fighting of male deers. He was always lowering his head and ramming into his siblings playfully, but they never joined in. He had always been odd; or maybe his family was just uptight. Whatever the reason, only his parents seemed to be amused by his antics. The collie pup had always loved his mother, she was more dear to him than his own life, and he did anything and everything to make her happy, make her laugh. His father was always telling stories, tales about his own life and the troubles he had over come, encouraging words to make his son feel good about himself. When he was about two years old his parents searched to join a pack, and the two were accepted. His siblings followed suit, but Cameron didn't want to have an 'artifical' family, as he often called it. Joining a pack, he claimed, was the easy way to earn respect, not love. So the young dog set off on his own after a sad farewell to his family, intent to find a lover of his own and start his own little family. He found his way here a year ago after a year of blindly traveling, and hopes to find what he's been looking for here.
