NAME.
rhea.
AGE.
five years.
GENDER.
female.
SPECIES.
dogo argentino.
SEXUALITY.
bisexual.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION.
rhea is a small, compact little dog. well, she isn’t exactly little. covered in coarse tan fur as an undercoat, tawny-brown fur is her overcoat. a reddish-brown streak runs down the length of her spin. four white socks cover her delicate paws, and a small area of white decorates her muzzle. a creamy orangish mask covers her face, leading to dark, pointed ears. cream covers her chest and belly, and a bottlebrush tail is shaded in the same dark tawny that the pricked ears are colored. black lines her jowls like lipstick, though there is a small area of her maw is black. she’s not small, but not quite large either. a touch of husky is seen in her looks, with the same structure. but a mutt she is and a mutt she always will be.
PERSONA.
shy.
this little lady is shy. very shy. she is often afraid to speak, a mute by her own choice. she’s very quiet and sticks to the shadows, never trying to draw attention to herself. she’s got a serious case of stage fright, whether it be talking to two or three others or a large group.
mute
she muted herself as a youth, because, as a female, she was to be seen, not heard. so, she muted herself, something her sister couldn’t do. she was forced to watch many traumatic things as a youth, which made her a fearful little thing.
sweet
as terrible a past as she had, she’s a very sweet dog. she’s lovable in any sense of the matter. from overly energetic youths to grumpy elders, she’s sweet to all. a saying, ‘you attract more flies with honey then you do with vinegar’ is one that she holds dear to her cotton candy heart.
motherly
rhea is just as motherly as one can be. often taking on the role of ‘mother hen’, rhea cannot stand to see a little one unhappy. as she lost a pair of little boys, she’s got a soft spot for the male puppies, though she isn’t biased to her dear little girls. could she take in every orphaned pup she saw, she’d do so in a heartbeat.
gentle
if you couldn’t tell already, rhea is a gentle soul. with soft mannerisms and the rarity in which her soprano lyrics flow, she has a gentle, delicate air about her. she often hates using discipline, if she has too in any case, and that, in a way, makes her a doormat for others to walk on.
meek
she is a doormat. she hates raising her voice above her soft little whisper and to make her speak up for herself is like pulling teeth while trying to pull a stubborn donkey while fighting a tiger. so, violence and confidence are clearly absent in her personality. adding to her meekness is a very, very large submissive streak. a pack setting, she does well in, as a omega of course.
HISTORY.
born in a small, old fashioned back, she was taught mannerisms from the time she could run. she was taught with cruel ways, though surprisingly she remained as sweet as candy. with three sisters and a brother, she was often left out and forgotten.
as the favored she-dog of the alpha, she became betrothed to his eldest son. she wasn’t exactly fond of the male and it made her edgy around him. but, as it was alpha’s orders, she tried to fall in love with him, despite the fact she was unhappy with the arrangement.
she found herself beginning to enjoy his company and soon they were mates. the first litter came and went as he stepped up into alphaship. during this time one of her sisters began to rebel. she and a few other she-dogs began to call out the higher ranks and soon there was a full blown war.
with the second litter almost ready to be born, her mate sent her to a neighboring pack. the pups were born there and she saw her mate once more before the war took his life. sent into a depression, she barely noticed the exchange in alphas.
as the second eldest son[her mate’s brother] took the throne, he immediately killed the two males in her litter of three. as the only female, her poor daughter was immediately betrothed to the alpha’s eldest son, a rude brute who was cruel and had little cause to listen to reason.
her daughter was verbally abused for much of her life, though at only a year and a half, she jumped off the cliff overlooking the back. evil took the pack, sending her into dark depression. she ran away, far from the back until she reached…well, here.
