[atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,350,true] | [atrb=background,http://i1050.photobucket.com/albums/s413/SilentCallings/PaisTableM.png]Run a bit faster. Okay now faster. Faster. Push yourself. Ignore the pain. Just breath and run. It’s not that hard. You can do it. You own the road. You own your life. Keeping her mind clear, head up, feet moving the whole time, getting her steam out in a way most likely unknown to the species that is canine. Running. Usually in the summer, considering the extreme heat, Paisley spent her time swimming instead of rocketing throughout the town like a complete maniac with no sense of direction at all. It wasn’t summer yet, it wasn’t time to do what flat coated retrievers were bred to do, to swim, it was time to run like no other and be the maniac that she was, but was extremely terrified to admit. Panting, tongue lolling from her mouth, dry as a dessert from flailing in the warm spring air, bright honey eyes focused on the dust ahead. That was her target, forward. Which was the point, Pai didn’t really like not knowing what was going happen next, but obviously that was the point in life, hence she was going to have to learn to live with the fact that the future is unknown. Now, Paisley was running without direction, just staring ahead. It had been a long time that the black canine had began her fast pace jog, and she had finally realized how far she had gone in not one, but multiple directions that had gotten her into a bit of a situation. Paisley was lost with no idea of even the jist of how to get back to town. Now, on top of her lost self, she was also extremely worn out and thirsty, which thankfully there was the creek to keep the last problem under control. Perhaps she could follow the light flowing, gurgling river back to her hometown, considering it did run by in multiple areas. With a long sigh, the shadow dog lay down in the filth, not minding the dirt packing into her coat, it felt absolutely amazing to release her anger through the running, but taking a nap after running for an exhaustingly long period of time in growing heat, felt even better. Why had she let Link into her life in the first place when she knew he was a player? The game cannot be taken out of a player it was a known fact. How stupid could she have been? Link had totally torn her apart. So now Paisley was taking the slow walk of shame in picking up the pieces of her life that the useless male had exploded into the air. Millions and billions of tiny pieces. Fun. Not. FIrst of all her anger issues were not going to get her anywhere, which is why she began to run to release the steam she’d been holding in for oh so long. Tears streamed down her ebony face in thoughts about her old partner, her old life that was actually pretty good until he was the king kong knocking the town down. Her life had flopped into a vortex in a matter of minutes.

In out. In out. In out. That was the rhythm of his breathing . Though rough it was steady as his feet drummed on the sandy floor. It was a comfort, to feel the muscles in him moving, getting stronger. The running helped clear his mind and he didn’t have to think about anything. Just the air he inhaled into his lungs. He imagined the air entering him and turning straight into pure energy that only increased his speed.
He wasn’t sure how long he’d been running, he didn’t care. However, he reached a small creek just as he was getting thirsty. He knew to take the opportunity, who knew when the next chance to hydrate would be. He bent down and lapped at it. He straightened and sucked in another breath, his large chest heaving as his heart slowed its’ racing. His attention was caught by a bird, a cooing dove. His ears flickered as he took it in. He didn’t know that it was a dove, he hadn’t ever heard another dog mention it. In fact, he liked to avoid other dogs. But as he watched the gray bird, his sonorous voice rang out in his low almost off-key way. ” Don't you see that lonesome dove. Flying from pine to pine? He's mourning for his own true love. Just like I mourn for mine.”
He frowned and shook his mass. The Beauceron trotted onwards, mulling over the words stuck in his head. He had no idea where it came from, but it elicited a strange ache in his chest when he thought of the words. He trotted farther and found himself belting, Come back, come back, my own true love. And stay awhile with me. If ever I've had a friend in this world…You've been a friend to me.”
He stopped because the song ended and he heard a female cry. He tilted his head and walked carefully. He saw her rather quickly, she wasn’t but two feet around the corner of the road, easily able to hear his loud voice. He cocked his head. He was always awkward in social situations. It was obvious that he didn’t have a clue what to do.

Gathering herself so she looked like nothing was wrong, the flat coated retriever stood, walking towards him with a smile. Friends. Yes that’s what she needed right now was friends to help her get through these tough times. To vent. Yes venting is good. Don’t make a fool of yourself worthless bit Shifting from left to right in order to calm herself while distracting her mind by looking at the newest sprouts nearby. “Erm...uh...hi” the female said quietly, eyes wandering to him. Tall. Incredibly muscular. Handsome except for the fact he looked worn down, much like she. It was easy to detect considering his shoulders were slumped a bit, also his most likely normally glowing eyes were dead and tired looking. What was he doing before? Running? Like me? Maybe I’m not crazy, maybe I’m not the only one! Absent mindlessly the young girl sat in front of him, a small side grin on her lips, ”If you don’t mind me asking...erm....what were you doing...like...erm..before you were...before right now?” It took her a few seconds after she finished babbling to realize how creepy and stupid she sounded “I mean...I was just you know, wondering...I swear...I’m um....I’m not a freak or anything..I just wanted to know...if you were...erm...running?” The shadow girl blinked and sighed, looking away. Your such an idiot, he’s never going to be your friend. He’s beyond your standards Pai. When are you going to learn that? Let the judging begin, she was ready, she was not super upset with herself therefore anger was the only emotion to focus on when he’d begin laughing which should be any second now.

He sucked in another breath, his barrel chest heaving. It wasn’t abnormal, the shaking in his legs, the intense beating of his heart in his head. It was the sight in front of him. She was a thin thing compared to him, he was a powerful dog. She probably stood just a bit taller than him. He hunkered down a bit as she got closer, absent-mindedly. It was a reaction he couldn’t control. Anytime he met anyone, he immediately started berating himself. He didn’t know what was expected and therefore was always on the defensive. There was no missing this, either. His dark eyes never left her as she got closer and his hackles rose, even though he didn’t need the help.
When she started speaking, his ears flickered backwards warily. He was always afraid of it. He was terrified they would start talking to him like they knew him, or expect him to do something he had no memory of. Instead, she stumbled over her own word and he frowned a bit. It took him a moment to realize what she was saying, since he had expected the opposite. He had no idea what she’d said was awkward. He took it straight at face-value, much like a pup would. That was just the way she was. He nodded slowly. She was a bit different from the few dogs he had met. Nothing like the dogs of the pack he had nearly gotten caught up in. She didn’t seem so harsh or demanding, though secretly that was what he liked. He wanted to know what to do. He absolutely hated bumbling over everything. He might not know much, but he was a fighter. He didn’t like being disrespected.
He just couldn’t figure out why she had wanted to know if he was running. Being new to conversation skills and have a serious phobia of meeting new dogs, he just stood there. His hackles lowered, though he didn’t unhinge his defensive posture. He just swallowed nervously and looked at her.

No words came from his mouth, only but a nod appeared from his body which seemed to relax as she did herself. "Me too. Running helps me think" She replied, hoping that she was not creeping him out. Pai had a tenancy to do that, even if she did not try to. "Or get my anger out, either one." The ebony female shrugged it off like it was nothing, but inside she was screaming. Not only was this really awkward, but she felt as if all the heaviness in the air was being caused by her which was a normal feeling for the flat coated retriever. "I'm Paisley," there. Now it shouldn't be so awkward if they got to actually knowing each other before every word she said became nothing but babble by a stranger. Besides, it was impolite to go without a proper introduction. Impolite was something that Pai was not, and she happened to be a lot, she was determined, depressed, feisty, and short tempered. Actually, her attitude often got her into deep trouble, though that did not keep her from continuing to be herself. Stopping to appeal to others was not going to happen when it came to the retriever. Sometimes it really pissed her off when others commented on her personality when theirs were not very great either. It was hard to understand, the concept of life, how others could be so blind when it came to how they acted. Yet there was nothing Paisley could do about it, she could not tell them how to live their lives when she did not even know how to live her own life the right way. Often times she fount faults in her actions or words. Looking up from her deep thoughts and examining the male, Paisley nodded with agreement, he seemed a bit on edge, like she was going to attack him any minute which she most definitely was not. First of all, this bull was so much more muscular than her, second, he looked like he could easily rip her apart.

His heart raced, but he was relaxing anyway. She wasn’t acting like the others had, not overbearingly talkative nor aggressive. He was too worried about a fight, if somehow one broke out. He wasn’t too sure if it could, but there was never harm in being ready for it.
Her words distracted him and he found himself smiling anyway. Her voice wavered, a thing he immediately picked up on. What was causing her nervousness? Him? Something he should be worried about as well? He glanced behind him but didn’t notice anything. He turned back around, once again displaying his wary face.
When she said her name, he all but slapped himself. He’d forgotten again. He ducked his head in a bit of embarrassment. ”Adar.” He slipped out. He hated the shyness that pervaded him. He couldn’t help it. Every time he encountered someone he got nervous, enough that sometimes he ran, simply because his paws were shaking so bad he couldn’t control them.
She was right. Running did help his anger. He smiled again, wondering what she had to be so angry about. She was a pretty gal. He didn’t think she was going to do anything; she was creating a simple conversation. So he forced himself to sit down and look at her. He softened his face. He knew it often had a wary and confused expression and it didn’t bode well in conversations. He might as well try and be normal in this one. Four years of running and avoiding others had made him tired. She was a nice gal, he would try with her.

This male, unlike any other she had ever met, was nearly silent, only speaking to answer questions other than that in which could be answered with a simple movement of the cranium in either direction. Up and down for yes, left to right for no. It was hard to understand the variety of every canine in personalities, though she had learned that not only was depending judgement containing information about others based upon sex or appearance was not only misleading, but hurtful to them which is the main reason to her social caution in discovering a true identity before actually revealing any personal information. Also, from recent experiences the flat coated retriever had decided that no longer would she give into temptation for she had personally, physically felt the punishment for allowing herself to give in to the beautiful blue eyes of Link, an Australian shepherd who she had let manipulate her, ending in her being impregnated during the time that the Merle male had ran off with another female, only hiking up her levels of insecurity about herself. It took a long time for two canines to fully understand the quality of one another, which Paisley now meticulously chose her conversations due to the previous activity she had been drawn to by a weak route. The ebony female seem to take his answer into genuine consideration before accepting it with a nod, turning her eyes to the darkening sky. "Well, doesn't look like either of us will be getting to our home tonight." Her words were precise, slow, and quiet, her usual voice that had never changed, even as a pup the tone of the lyrical words had been low and not very quick to let go of. "Would you like to camp here with me for tonight?" it came out as more hopeful than she had truly expected, though it would be nice to have company that she actually enjoyed for once, someone peaceful who didn't constantly prod her for information, only Thorn could maintain to withhold her questions until a reasonable time when the retriever seemed oddly jolly which was a rare occasion that was incredibly difficult to catch, the doberman always seemed to detect the slight variation in happiness though considering every time the charcoal female woke with a bigger bounce in her step the red dobe started a decent conversation that could last for hours if they let it.
note; my muse came in a hot flash and this decided to be so much better than i really expected it to be.

His skin prickled with nerves, causing his fur to lift. It was menacing, but the fact that his expression was so blank just made him look flat. He followed her gaze to the darkening sky, a frown appearing above his dark brown eyes. He nodded slowly at her words, a small grin flitting across his face. He didn’t exactly have a place to call home, as evident by the state of hi paws. They were crusted in mud, a few torn nails were oozing blood and he had a particularly nasty gash in the pad of his left foot. Travel tokens, is what he thought of them as.
Her voice was comforting. Slow and melodic, he closed his eyes to better hear it. It reminded him of something. Something that made his chest ache but made no connection with his brain. His ears flickered backward with nervousness when she spoke again. Was that normal? Since she didn’t seem anything but calm, he shrugged. Why not? He’d already planned to sleep in the woods.
Lightning cracked overhead, in the distance, but enough that a few seconds later thunder rumbled behind. He looked at Paisley. The nervousness was still wrapped around his heart, making his chest ache. He twiddled his paws some, trying to figure out what the situation demanded. What did she expect of him right now? He couldn’t think of anything else to do but sit there. The thought of finding shelter didn’t cross his mind, not when he had spent been running through much harsher weather. He started humming when he looked up at the sky. ”Dark and stormy weather. It still inclines to rain. The clouds hang over center. My love's gone away on a train…” --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Actually, your fine, I have no muse at all anymore, like you I'm so SO busy, I finally moved out on my own so now I have two jobs and they really drain me. So, my replies have came to a stand still except for those few that I have those tiny bursts of muse, it's up to you but do you think we should just close this thread? I don't have muse, and neither do you...but like I said, your choice.
