name. Valentine
age. Puppy[newborn]
gender. Female
sexuality. Bisexual
looks. She’s the puppy closest to her daddy, coloration wise. She has a thin, coarse coat of blue brindle fur that covers all 92 pounds of her. She’s the tallest of her siblings, standing 29 inches tall. She’s rather pretty, really. Her coat is made up of a silvery blue, just like her mother, though pale brindle markings stripping the lean frame she inherits from both of them. Her eyes are deep chocolate, a lovely color really. She’s very pretty, with a certain grace she gets from her mother, though there’s that rough edge she gets from her daddy.
persona. [rough] & [hateful] & [rude] & [argumentative] &[quick tempered] & [loud] & [sarcastic] & [heart breaker] &[rebel] & [fighter]
? rough ? Valentine is a very gruff girl. She’s not going to kiss your booboos or whine over a bruise. She lives by the saying ‘suck it up and get back into the game’, with the game being life. She can play a little rough at times, whether she means to or not.
? hateful ? Valentine is a hateful little thing. The words she speaks are poisonous, she wants people to feel terrible about themselves. She appears very mean. She is, quite honestly, a b-i-t-c-h. She thrives on the pain of others, especially if she’s the one that causes it.
? rude ? Valentine is really quite rude. If she sees a weakness, than she’ll take it. She talks really quite lewdly and has a dirty mind and mouth, which she uses to the full extent, whenever she feels like it.
? argumentative ? She always has to have the last word. She doesn’t care about whatever the subject is. If she even hears about a conversation, a argument that has nothing to do with her, than she will jump right in and get as far into the argument as possible and then whip something that she’s been hiding up her sleeve to beat you.
? quick tempered ? Valentine is quick to snap, always. If she’s in one of her moods, than she’ll be overly happy to take a chunk out of you. She can snap really quite easily and if there’s a fight to be had, she’ll want in.
? loud ? Val is really, really loud. She always wants you to hear her. She’s the kind of dog to tell you exactly what she’s thinking, when she’s thinking it. Don’t try to ignore her, she only gets louder and louder and louder until she’s practically yelling in your ear.
? sarcastic ? Valentine is quite sarcastic. She’s witty and clever and if you’re going to be beaten in a word battle, than she’s the one you’ll be beaten by. She’s got a quick tongue and a sharp wit, things that make her almost unstoppable, especially if she’s actually trying.
? heart breaker ? Val is exactly like her daddy. She flirts and flaunts herself to everyone, male or female, and then lulls them into a false sense of security, to believe that she is a loyal lover to them and only them before she snaps their heart in two and gives them a severe reality check.
? rebel ? She hates to be mellow, docile, to go along. She doesn’t want to be average, she wants to be special. She isn’t a docile creature by nature and she simply cannot stand “going with the flow.” She rebels against every order her father gives, every softly spoken request her mother asks of her, every demand her siblings make.
? fighter ? Take her father and put it into her body and you’ll have what she is. She’s an adrenaline junkie, she loves the thrill of the fight. Nothing makes her happier, more docile even, than being victorious in a battle, feeling the skin of an enemy slice between her daggers, the wonderful cooper taste of blood. She’s an instigator, especially if it leads to a good fight.
persona. [sweet] & [lovable] & [insecure] & [wants to be loved] & [hopeless romantic] & [afraid of rejection] & [funny] & [easily depressed] & [bipolar] & [adorable] & [dorky] & [curious] & [awkward] & [smart]
? sweet ? Even though it doesn’t seem like it, Valentine really is extremely sweet. Very few have ever seen this side of her, mainly only her mother and especially rarely. She doesn’t flaunt this side of her, instead she chooses to save it for whichever lover she will choose to settle down and live forever with.
? lovable ? Again, as unlikely as it seems, Valentine really is lovable. It might take a while to find out just how lovable, but as a youngster, she shows this much more than as she ages. She loves her family, her half-siblings and her father, even if it doesn’t seem like it. She holds her heart close to herself and keeps it under lock and key, away from her family, away from the pack. She doesn’t want to be hurt…
? insecure ? Valentine is really quite insecure. She doesn’t feel good about herself and tries to build up this image of a bad girl to show everyone that she isn’t someone to take lightly even though she believes that she is. She has no self esteem and often sells herself short.
? wants to be loved ? She, going on about the fact that she’s highly insecure, wants to be loved. She hates being ignored and that especially feeds this trait. She has an irrational fear that she’ll be forgotten and cast aside like a used toy, one that was treasured by a child until it began to age and then she was cast aside, a wonderful still life tribute on a shelf to all good toys.
? hopeless romantic ? She has the crazy, funky idea of a prince charming. She wants to be swept off her feet and carried off into the sunset to live happily ever after. She loves the idea of a mate and a family, even if she knows she can’t have it because of the girl she forces everyone to see [and hear]. A matchmaker at heart, she can’t help but look at her siblings and think, ‘hmm, who would be a good match for them?’
? afraid of rejection ? Val is terrified of rejection. She’s afraid to be hurt. She is especially afraid of being rejected by Ryland. She feels as though she has to impress him, which makes her put up the ‘bitch walls’ as a means to impress him, by showing him she’s just as tough as Avalon, if not tougher.
? funny ? Val is actually really quite funny. She’s witty but without the rudeness of the walls, she’s actually very funny. She’s got a bit of a cheesy humor but she’s got that goofy way that makes it too cute to be bad.
? easily depressed ? Valentine suffers from depression. She’s smarter than anyone gives her credit for and if she sees something she considers “wrong” or something “messed up” in her family she often goes into a state of depression, mentally of course, and often blames herself for many of the issues her family has.
? bipolar ? Ah yes, Valentine is bipolar. She has sudden mood swings and can easily go from your best friend to your worst enemy in seconds, it all considers on how she feels that morning or how you act around her. This is an issue, paired with her depression, and sometimes she falls into a suicidal state, though she’s never actually harmed herself.
? a little crazy ? She has a slightly insane side to her. This plays into her “bitch walls” and it makes her a little angrier, mainly because she feels as though this is one of the reasons Ryland doesn’t “want” her. She has good and bad days just like anyone, though her bad days can be a little extreme, mainly with threatening and more fights than often.
? adorable ? Valentine easily falls into the adorable category. As a puppy she plays the “Awwwwww!” factor like a queen, always managing to stumble over herself or do something equally as adorable, whether it be a sleepy yawn or a clumsily placed bat at her siblings.
? dorky ? Valentine is such a dork, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. She can be over excitable, awkward, and get freaked out over the littlest things, but it’s just her being her dorky self. She’s kind of that kid at school who prefers books and food more than people.
? curious ? Val is a curious little duck. She’s got a thirst to know just about everything, especially if it has to do with the pack. She loves to learn, loves to explore. She wants to talk to everyone about everything, especially older dogs. She admires her father, mainly because he has street knowledge and used it to put himself where he is now.
? awkward ? Val is the awkwardest awkward turtle ever. She somehow manages to put herself in the most awkward positions ever and then somehow make them even more awkward with her actions. To say she fumbles over herself is the understatement of the century!
? smart ? Valentine is really much smarter than everyone gives her credit for. She enjoys learning and she dreams of going to other places to learn more, to see more. She’s a hands on learner, which can lead to a few issues when it comes to life lessons. She observes everything which leads to most of her depression issues, especially when she sees how “unclose” her parents are.
