Wind blowing, birds singing, and the fantastic feeling of the sun had finally come to the desolate farm town, finally making it seem as though it was lively once more. Well, maybe desolate isn't the best term. Sure, the humans had been gone for years now, but this little old podunk was bustling with canine activity. With the loss of some elder dogs, Saddle Creek gained many new lives as the swollen dames all lay down to whelp this Spring. With so many things finally going well for the farm town's inhabitants, you'd think they'd be happy. Well, except for a usually exuberant little canaan mix. The small brute trudged through the woods and over to the creek of which his home town was named, plopping down in the cool water with a sigh. He lay his head on a soft, mossy rock, and let his muscles relax. Bodhi really was a sad sight right now. He was thin, had clumps of fur sticking everywhere from lack of grooming, and had a melancholic feeling surrounding him. It seemed that just when things were going well for him, everything seemed to come crashing down on top of him, leaving him vulnerable. First, his best friend and not-blood-related-but-still-pretty-cool-big-brother, Charon, up and left, leaving the boy without a friend in the world. He lost his partner in justice, and only family. Then, he met Legacy, the leader of Maison de Paris. The mutt had taken him in, and acted as his father. He even became his mentor! Then, without a word, he left, too. Bodhi had no one to care for him, no one to turn to when things got rough. That was no way for a child to grow up.
As the stream lapped at his sides, flowing gently around his body and under his chin, he looked around gloomily. Maybe one of the new litters would yield a friend? Maybe an enemy? Or maybe, just maybe, someone that would look up to him as he looked up to Charon. He knew that, if given the chance, he would be the best big brother ever. He would teach his little sibling everything he knew, how to adventure properly, and where the best places for food were. Oh, what he would do for someone to be in that place for him. His tail uncurled and floating in the water around his rump, the pup suddenly felt something clamp down on it. Eyes widening to the size of dinnerplates, the akita mix yelped, leaping out of the water and running lightning fast in a circle to try and catch up to his tail. Though he simply could not catch it, he saw what was causing the pain: a small crayfish. He flopped over on to the ground, kicking and pawing at his tail until the dastardly creature let go. Bo whimpered slightly as he curled up in a ball and licked his throbbing appendage, wondering if this day could get any worse.

Come on, Nero! A small female pup leaped up against a much larger white pup, about a month and a half older than she. They looked nothing alike in appearance, and acted nothing alike personality wise, but they were siblings and nearly inseparable. The small female girl tugged at her older brother's ear, wanting him to move as he stood there like a rock. The white, short coat male did not speak to his sister, but just stood there staring at her. Already he towered over her, and his muscles were already bulging under his coat. He was cane corso and great dane, while she was a husky cane corso mix. No. Callie, I don't want to go! Nero snapped at his smaller kin, his sharp teeth missing only by a short inch or two. Callie dodged his attack with a kick leap to the side, but either way, Nero wouldn't dare to hurt her, though as much as he would like to at times, he would never. He had an unimaginable, uncontrollable attachment to the brown and white ball of fur, and unlike any other person on this planet, Nero would not harm. He was an evil puppy, an evil person, and Callie slightly knew the dangers and the white male could cause, for when Callie was around, Nero acted some what normal, putting away his darker thoughts and hiding them from his good natured sister. He knew that she was pure, and though against all odds, he did not want to containment her pureness. Aw! C’mon Nero! What if you really would had bit me? That would had hurt and daddy would had punished you! You know how he gets. Don’t mess around like that, no more! Callie snapped at her brother, knowing that if anything where to happen to the husky mix girl, Ryland- their father would take it out on his white dane mix son. Ryland necessarily wasn’t a huge fan of Nero, and quite honestly no one besides Callie liked the weird boy. Callie wasn’t sure why, she loved her brother, she loved all her sisters, but both Nero and herself were hated from either parents, siblings, or in Nero’s case both. Callie’s thoughts about it was if everyone just loved him, maybe he wouldn’t turn out so evil, but in reality there wasn’t saving Nero, and the male knew this. He was smarter than what he got credit for, and each sibling knew this. They had a secret code, knowing things about one another that
wasn’t said, it didn’t need to be said. They were constantly with each other, even with Ryland trying to break the pair apart, but Callie didn’t care. She wanted to be with Nero, everyone needed at least one person to have and be loved by, and she was his one person. Nero on the other hand, didn’t care what anyone had to say. He was doing what he want, when he wanted with or without punishment. Punishment didn’t scare the male like it did most pups, he wanted to get punished or wanted to see if they actually would- challenging authority was one of Nero’s favorite past times. You know I wouldn’t hurt you. Nero said softly, licking the top of her head as he gave into Callie’s persisting manner on following her. Yeah, I know! But what if I would had moved towards you or you miscalculated? Something could had happened! Anywho, follow me! I know where this creek is at! So there they went, two balls of fur chasing after one another. Callie was more fluent in the chasing game, as Nero was more solid, stiff legged and grumpy, but he still gave off laughs here and there. Before they both knew it, they reached the creek. Callie’s enthusiasm declined heavily, as she came up to it. Panting and tired, she golden and white girl flopped down into the water. Splashing liquid up around her and her brother. The water cooled her body, releasing the temperature that she had worked up on the adventure to the water. Man, am I tired! The walk home is gonna suck! Callie choked out, breathing hard as she stared at her brother. Nero didn’t join her in her water bathing, instead he sat at the edge of the creek with just his toes touching the water. You know, that’s not very lady like… Muttered Nero, as his brow lifted up as his sister sprawled out in mud and water. His white fur would be turned yellow if he went into the creek, and Nero wasn’t down for another round with water to become clean. That water is filthy. Oh, and well, you’re the one that wanted to come all the way out here! Growled Nero, as the words came out of his mouth, something out of the corner of his eyes caught his attention. Ears perked, the male rose up, muscles tensed and thicken as he boy stared off not
too far from where they played. Callie stared at her brother, watching his sudden reaction to whatever caught his attention. Holding her breath, the girl freeze, she watched as his blue eyes glazed over and a sadistic look began to grow into them. Nero… Callie called his name softly, trying to deflect the male from the target he laid his eyes upon, but she knew it was nearly impossible. Slowly, she got up, moving closer towards her white brother. No.. Don’t do it. She called out again, but there was no response in him. Nero took a step closer towards whatever he saw, and another. Muscles harden even more, and Callie’s breath froze inside of her lungs. Moving around her brother, she tried to look for what he saw, but could not. Whatever he was stalking was closely camouflage to the dry desert earth. She hoped that it was just a rabbit and nothing like another canine. Then, as Callie was just about to relax, the breeze picked up, bringing the scent of whatever Nero found towards him. Panic ran through the female as she knew exactly what was going on now. He found a puppy, around their age, someone as vulnerable as she was without the protection of a secret seal that she had. Gulping down fear, Callie walked in front of Nero, staring into his lost blue eyes. Please… don’t… do.. It.. Callie’s words where second too late, as the male puppy dodged away from here and ran towards the other dog. Yelping out in panic, Callie raced after him, screaming for the other puppy to not run and for Nero to stop. If the other dog ran, there would be no saving him. Nero liked a chase- a game, and if he stood there and stood his ground for just a moment or two, Callie could break him for his spell… Time. She needed time, and luck with the other dog. She ran after him, but her legs were smaller and weaker than his. Closing her eyes, she chased after him still, not sure if she would make it in time.

As the mongrel lay there sucking on his tail, he heard movement off in the distance, and sprang to his feet. The creatures smelled like canines, so he was safe. Well, maybe. He silently prayed to whoever might hear him that it wasn't a grown-up he might have ticked off with a prank taken a little too far; that never ended well, and without the protection of a guardian, he was royally screwed if this was the case. He turned to the stream and looked for food, refusing to let his guard down the entire time. In an instant, he snapped his head down, trying - and failing, sadly - to catch a fish. His stomach growled as he frowned, and he whimpered as he flopped back down in his spot on the bank. Well, this day was going just swimmingly. "Pffktkkkttt," he forced back a laugh at his little pun, effectively brightening his mood. When the dogs who had been making the noise appeared, his tail thumped in excitement. They were puppies, like him!
A young boy and girl. Though they looked nothing alike, Bodhi sensed a closeness between them that only family could share. Ears falling back as his heart ached, he forced a friendly smile, tilting his head and bowing down playfully. "Hello! What's your-," he stopped, gulping back the intimidation as the white pup stared at him. Hell, he could've sworn he was staring through him! Right in to his very soul, in to the place where he stored all of his fears! The realization sent chills up the canaan mix's spine, forcing him to back up a bit. It was silent, yet the dog would not stop. He could not will himself to break the lock of gazes, his body had frozen. His legs felt like spaghetti noodles, and he began to tremble. The girl seemed to notice what he had, and she began to try and coax her brother out of whatever deranged state he was in. Heh, how Bodhi wished that would've worked. Before he knew it, the male started barreling toward him, followed by the other pup's scream. He was instructed not to move, and listened well. Yep, this day had just gone from bad to worse.
Time seemed to slow down. A white mass was mere inches from his face, and Bodhi leaned back with a gulp. "H-h-hey, buddy, I-I'm sorry for whatever I d-d-did. I d-don't think we need to resort to violence, y'know?" he stammered desperately, looking at the girl with eyes full of panic. He mouthed "help me" slowly to her, ears fallen back in attempted submission. He just wanted to play, to adventure, to be friends, not this! This dog was all muscle, unlike himself. While Bodhi knew he could outrun him in a heartbeat, who was to say this dog wouldn't hunt him down? Did he really want to live with that paranoia? Muscles tensing, he crouched slightly and leaned away, ready to spring in to action and get the hell out of there.

Pain ran through the small girl as she reached her bigger sibling. Nero stood there staring at the sandy colored pup, glaring at him, sizing him up, determining what he wants to do to him. Nero’s body was like a thunder storm, flashing off hormones and lighting off thoughts that where unnatural and dark. His muscles twitched as they craved to be uncoiled. Drool dripped down his jaws as his mouth was slightly agape, as his sides heaved up and down slightly as he breathed. Nero was fully concentrated on the male pup. Unable to snap out of his graze even with Callie’s pleading for him to snap out of it. Nero, please, stop, Nero! Callie’s voice turned high as panic filled the sound particles around them. The girl jumped up onto the Dane mix, placing her tiny paws up against his shoulder as she tugged on the white demon’s ear. Her teeth penetrated into his flesh, but the young beast did not budge. Muscles flexed to the extreme where the skin and fur was pulled so tightly against his body, it looked as if his veins where able to be seen. Moments passed and Callie still tugged at his ear. Blood oozed from his body part out onto her nose, but she did not let go. Getting annoyed by his sister, Nero whipped his head to the side, flinging the girl nearly a meter away from where they were. The pup landed with a thug, knocking her head against a large rock. Callie’s body became limp as she laid on the ground. Nero did not respond to Callie’s fall, he didn’t even realize in what he had done. Eyes glistened in the dimming sunlight, as his muscles coiled up, breathing in, the male dog was ready to lunge at any moment. One. Two. Three. Seconds passed slowly, and turned into minutes. As he exhaled, the white dog leaped. Muscles unclenched as his body went flying towards the sandy colored puppy. Nero’s mouth opened slightly, showing razor white teeth that was inside a powerful jaw. Odds were towards the cane corso, great dane mix, the cannan dog was nothing compared to Nero, weak in appearance and most likely in strength. Nero was exactly what his father’s master wanted: a killing machine. Nero was sick in the mind, dark in the heart, and all around an evil canine. Moments quickly passed, and the white dog was upon the other. Teeth aimed for the dog’s shoulder, but Nero was unsure of how successful he was in the attack. Hormones rushed through the male: adrenaline, endorphins, dopamine, and anxiety. The switch in Nero’s mental ability was turned on, and the only thing that could switch it back off would be a dead body. Bodhi’s only savior would had been Callie, but the small husky mix female was knocked out, laying still where Nero had flung her. The sun was setting on this night, leaving the blue sky with a red tone. Different colors painted the horizon, deep reds to light pinks. The sun was falling over the earth, as the moon was starting to awake.

What started out as a mopey afternoon walk turned in to a nightmare, as Bodhi was fairly certain his blood would be painting the ground in just a few moments. The canaan mix watched in horror as the unearthly white beast threw his sister off of him, effectively silencing her pleads for him to stop. He grew sick to the stomach as the young female didn't move. H-he wouldn't kill her, right? If he could do that to his own sister, what the hell would he do to Bodhi? Ohgodohgodohgodohgodohgod. The male began to hyperventilate, looking around desperately for a way to save himself. His paws felt glued to the ground, and it felt as though there were boulders weighing his stomach down. Time slowed down as the cane corso mix flew toward him, and in the last instant, Bodhi sprang to the side, but it simply wasn't enough. He felt teeth rake down the side of his flank, taking with it fur, flesh, and blood. As his sandy coat's color quickly turned a bright crimson, Bodhi felt his instincts take over.
His legs his the ground incredibly quickly, a fast gallop-sound filling the air as long legs and sharp claws tore down the creek bank. He could feel the earth being torn apart below his paws, but couldn't stop. Only one thought was in his mind: flee. It was the fastest the pup had ever gone, and though he knew he could outrun the attacker with ease, eventually he would need to stop and put what Legacy had taught him in to action. His heart pounded as he pushed his muscles harder and harder, his heartbeat and deranged breathing the only thing he could hear. He had to end this. That didn't make it any less scary, though... When he finally made the decision to end the mad chase, he stopped on a dime, turning his head back to his opponent. He curled his back legs in toward his ribs, before launching them both out as hard as he could, hoping his paws would land square in his opponent's face. It wouldn't do much more than leave a bruise and a few scrapes, but maybe it would snap the ferocious pup out of his crazed state.

** Cassandra walked daintily down the road with her head tilted up in a regal manner, trying to get the position of the princess her mentality led her to believe she was, slightly curled tassel swishing against her ankles, and while she hated Callie for being the apple of their father’s eye, she was not necessarily cruel, for a princess was never cold-hearted. She carefully made sure she didn't get her fluffy chestnut and ivory coat muddied, wanting to stay pretty for whoever she encountered, whatever knight in shining armor made their way over to her, even though she was so young, she just wanted to be treated like someone important in the eyes of another. That was why she despised and adored her father at the same time, particularly because she felt like he hated her for not being his other precious daughter, the one that was so beautiful and perfect, a notion that made her semi-flopped lobes slant down to press against her head as her heart clenched miserably. Though as she scampered around the creek, just wasting another day away, feeling the imaginary tiara upon her head, only to then hear shrieks of fright echoing, a gasp leaving her tiny maw as she bolted towards the problem, nearly hazel pools blinking away the tears of her worry for these poor people who were in danger. She briefly wondered if she should go run and get some of the soldiers back in the pack territory, but that was too far away, and this event would be over before it even started, and the Cane Corso/Siberian Husky mix finally stumbled upon what she had been an auditory witness to.
** She bit her lip at the sight, it was horrid, Callie crumpled against the base of the tree she had probably been flung at, a creamy-colored brute crouching away from her half-brother, Nero, and while she probably despised her sister with all her might, the vixen ran to her side, nudging and licking her cheek as she choked out in worry, “Callie? Calliope? Are you alright? Oh no…” She then turned her attention to the fight going on as she tried moving her sibling’s limp frame over to the taller grasses so she would be hidden from predators, only to then run after the pair that were battling, and from the way the mutt had that fearful expression on his guise, it seemed like her brother was going through one of his phases again. Taking in a breath of courage, Cassie guessed she would have to switch her role from the damsel in distress to the heroic, independent female, and she squared her shoulders as she bit back a yelp and sprinted right for the alabaster beast. She attempted to barrel into him, crying out, “Nero, stop!” She knew the only one of his half litter mates that he liked was Callie, everyone loved her, and he probably disliked her like he felt towards nearly everyone, but that wouldn't stop her from trying, trying to wiggle her way in between the two as she growled, only to duck as the grit-toned pup jumped for her relative’s face. This was no use, boys were too strong for her, and Nero probably wouldn't even listen to her, so she just returned to her sister’s side in a panic, whimpering as she laid beside her and continued to lick her chin, now seriously wondering if she should run back to get their father or mother or someone.

As Nero neared, the sandy colored pup fled. Brows raised, as the mix’s long leg’s came into play. He was made for killing. Anything mixed with a great dane, cane corso was made for killing, and Nero had the mental capability of doing so. Long, dane like legs chased after the dog. The switch in his head was fully on, and no one knew what would be able to switch it back off. Panting, slobber fell from his lips, falling all around him, landing on his white face and body, but he was oblivious to the wetness covering him. Paws fell hard against the ground, sounding like thunder and a herd of angry horses marching in after the pup. Adrenaline ran through the white male, rushing him on, sending him off, giving him even more power to tear the dog up. Speed. Power. Hated. It fueled him, turned him on, edge him to go. Go. Go. Go. Blood. He wanted blood. Guts. He wanted guts. Needed them. Nero loved the feeling, loved the warmth that blood gave off. The taste of the iron, copper based liquid. Licking his chops, Nero’s focus went off the brute, which led him to realize that Bodhi had turned tail- facing him. Slowing down, the large pup nearly crashed into the smaller one. Grunting, the white male felt pain across his shoulder, but he wasn’t sure if it was too bad to call a wound and more a scratch. Pain swirled around him, as anger twirled through him. Breathing in air, Nero embraced himself, stood there staring at the sandy colored dog. Grinding his teeth, muscles tensed up. You fuck. Nero’s voice was rough, raspy, unused. Anger, rage, torment ripped through Nero. Shaking his head, more spit flung along the ground, but he knew more was about to be created. Muscles tensed, preparing for an airborne launch. Jaws agape, sensations ran through him, down his spine, through each one of his ribs. Running through him like heroin. Within moments between a breath, the beast lunged. Flying, large puppy body went airborne. His legs reaching out, trying to aim for a eye, lip, nose, any soft tissue that his nails can tear before his teeth reached flesh. Swiftly, he came down upon Bodhi, not sure where he aimed him mouth, shoulder, flank, face, but he knew he clamped down. Not necessarily knowing how hard, not knowing if he broke the skin, or even if he tasted fur. It was quick, swift, hasty. His attack was interrupted, disturbed to hear someone call his name. At first, he sounded like Callie, faint, distant, but unfamiliar. Turning around, Nero’s attention left the sandy colored brute, and towards the creature that called after him. Scanning the horizon, the pale hued male couldn’t find his sister. Where was Callie? Fear, anxiety, worry ran through him. What had he done to her? Why couldn’t he remember where she last was? Suddenly, blood from his torn ear dripped down onto his paw. Blinking, memories came back to him. He flung her off of him. Where was she now? Who had called him? Huffing in irritation, Nero left the cannan mix dog. Ignoring him for not, but not completely forgetting about his opponent. Callie was the first on his priority list. Running back to where they last were, by the creek’s shoreline, there laid Callie. Limp, laying there in the sandy dirt, no realization of the terror that he had just put Bodhi in. Lips quivering, he was unaware of the Cassie, Callie’s full sister, and his half. Biting his shaking lips, Nero bent down towards her limp body. Breathing in her sweet smelling scent. Callie? He whispered, pressing his wet nose into her pelt. Eyes turning up, they settled on Cassie. Blue eyes turned blue-er, as he realized what he just did to his little sister. Gulping down pain, this is out of what he would normally do. He would never hurt her, never hurt any of his sisters. There was out of his capabilities, even for a born serial killer, his sisters were the only thing safe, locked inside his safe of who he would not hurt. Sia, being one of them. Folding over, he laid there next to her. Nose tucked inside her golden fur. Eyes hallow, hard, cold. He hated himself for this. But at least she wasn’t dead, right?

In the midst of their battle, Bodhi noticed a rather regal looking female trying her hardest to break them up, but the pup ultimately failed in doing so. That was saddening. It appeared that this fight would not be ending any time soon. Making sure to never let Nero out of his sight, the male stared the ivory beast in the eye, breathing hard but standing his ground. The maiden seemed to know his current opponent, which left the wheat colored pup to wonder if she was related to him as well. Well, that made at least three dogs that could hate him at the moment. What had even started this scuffle? He was just wandering around, minding his own business at the creek, and next thing he knew, Nero was coming after him like some kind of hellspawn puppy. Dhi had expected some light banter and adventuring upon seeing the pair of puppies, not his first fight. Legacy hadn't taught him much before disappearing, so despite being an heir to a role of leadership in the sadistic Masion de Paris, Bodhi was not very experienced in the art of combat. Sure, he was known as a bit of a trouble maker around Saddle Creek, but it was only to have a little fun; he didn't enjoy being chased by bloodthirsty mongrels. The akita mix had never really thought about going teeth to teeth against another canine. Sure, if the citizens of his town were in danger, he would not hesitate to take down the antagonists in the name of justice, but to pick fights with random strangers? It didn't seem plausible!
As Bo's hind legs made contact with Nero, he discovered that it hadn't hit him anywhere near where he had planned. His hit landed on the brute's shoulder, not hit square in his face. Huffing with disappointment, he propelled himself forward a few feet, and looked back at Nero. As he panted and stared at the brute through narrowed eyes, he examined what minimal damage he'd done. There were strips of red staining the male's once white shoulder, and though they were bleeding, it was very light. Bodhi hadn't intended to wound the male; he only wanted to slow him down, and hopefully save his own hide by snapping Nero out of whatever crazed state he was in. Unfortunately, his efforts proved futile. Nero simply uttered a curse, and lunged at him. Chills went flying down Bodhi's spine, and his heart began to race. He stood stark still, unable to will himself to move. Once again, he found himself frozen in fear. "Way to go, Bo. What kind of hero can't even defend himself?" he scolded himself with a frown, a whimper escaping his maw. Saliva flew frown the white beast's mouth, sticking to his face. His eyes seemed soulless, and he didn't even look like a living creature anymore. Right now, Bodhi saw him as nothing more than an unthinking, unfeeling demon hellbent on carnage. The lack of concern on the cane corso's face terrified the blonde pup. As his muscled body flew through the air and toward him, time seemed to slow down. Gradually, the pup landed, but with his teeth clamped down on Bodhi's side.
The little hero squealed, and began to thrash his head about in an attempt to bite his attacker, fueled by pain. Youthful growls echoed out left and right as he tried desperately to make the dog release his grip, but his attempts were to no avail. He felt like his ribs were being crushed in Nero's jaws, and he could barely breathe. Eventually, he was released, and he fell to the ground gasping for air. He could feel the crimson liquid oozing from his body, but didn't have the strength to lift his head and see to what extent he was bleeding, or how serious the wound was. He lay on his good side, legs flopped about in random angles. His eyes were only half open, and he stared blankly, panting on the soil. His tail was only loosely curled now. After a few months, he shakily stood, looking back to see that he was bleeding a good bit behind his front leg, close to his belly. Bodhi lowered his head and stared daggers at Nero, still breathing hard. Nero was staring rather fearfully at his unconscious sister, seeming to finally realize what he'd done. Anger flooding from the sandy colored pup, he snarled. "Do you see what you've done?! What the hell has this accomplished?!" he screamed furiously at the male. He tried so hard to contain himself, to try and end the fight, but he couldn't. Taking advantage of the fact that they were still by the creek, Bo barreled forward and aimed for Nero, intent on ramming him in to the water.

** The maiden just continued to stare at her unconscious sister’s pretty face, nudging it every once in a while to see if she would stir or not, though nothing would happen, and she flatted her semi-folded audits to try and block out the vicious sounds of the boys brawling it out. She didn't even know why they were fighting in the first place, the cute sandy-tinted mutt looking like he hadn't even done anything wrong, plus from the way he bolted it seemed like he wanted to maintain peace over fighting like Nero appeared to always want. She didn't understand why he was so bloodthirsty, he was a vicious monster, and she didn't know why Callie even stuck around him, for sure, he was protective and nice to her, but look at this! This was his doing, and he could do much worse, she knew that, she just had to listen to all the rumors going around the pack about his past times and what-not, he liked to harm other canines, and that just wasn't right. Soon the Cane Corso mix wandered over, most likely having finished with his spat, ignoring her as he tried to wake their sister, and she snorted, turning away as she stood, storming off with a growled, “I give up, I don’t even know why I try.” Why did she even care if the princess of the pack got hurt? This wasn't like Cassie, being all kind and stuff to the other female, plus if their brother was going to be a butt about it, she definitely had no place next to their love fest.
** However what halted her rush back home, or what she intended it to be, was the metallic scent of blood, turning her chestnut pools to land on the stranger the ivory dog had been trying to tear apart, yelling at the brute, showing him just what sort of guy he was. The Husky mix hesitated, wondering if she should even stick around or just go back home, curl up in a ball and tell herself a bedtime story, but her conscience made her go with the prior, for she had to make sure Callie got out of it okay, lest she feel guilty for ditching the pair here in the middle of nowhere. Her fuzzy tassel curled halfway over her petite back as she trotted over to the older boy, sitting down next to him as she nosed his cheek in a friendly manner, murmuring out, “You’re bleeding. Don’t you wanna get that cleaned?” This was so innocent, the things that were going through her mind, wanting to be the independent heroine to the other kid, for only children could think in this way, without any dirty ideas or ulterior moments. Cassandra just wanted a friend, someone to talk, but she guessed it wouldn't matter anyways, since he was probably going to pay attention to Callie anyways, since she was always better, prettier, smarter, nicer, she was always goddamn perfect. Though, that didn't stop her as she pawed at the earth and said meekly, “I’m Cassie, by the way.”
