Appearance: Claire has a sable coat which is characteristically thick and straight. She has a white chest, belly, mask marking and tail tip. She also have two white 'socks' on her front legs. Her back legs have no markings. Her tail is fluffy and has a white tail tip. Her eyes are cornflower blue. She has a muscular body with wiry strength, and she is rather on the tall side at 21”.Her left ear is erect while the other is floppy. She wears a wide black collar with a 'Sheriff' badge attached which marks her as police dog.
Personality: Claire is a loner and dedicates almost all her time to her work. She has a strong sense of justice, which drives her to do her finish a job at any cost. She prone to biting off more then she can chew when it comes to pursuing enemies. She is reserved and quiet with strangers, but once you get to know her, she will be a loyal friend and willing to die for you. She is highly brilliant, sometimes seeing what others overlook. She cares deeply for people she knows and will kill anyone who hurts them. She tries to keep her emotions in check, but they can get the better of her, especially rage and sadness. She has a soft spot for pups and is normally very kind to anyone who needs help. She tries to settle arguments and keep peace as is her job.
History: Claire was born into sheep-herding family, but her brothers were better suited for it. Her high energy and somewhat aggressiveness scared the sheep. She was donated to the Police Academy where she was trained to seek out criminals with her handler, John Benting. They grew quite close over the two years, and Claire grew to be a proficient tracker and fighter. Then the dust came to the town where John was serving as deputy. He regretfully abandoned Claire to leave with his wife, who was severely allergic to dogs. Claire misses him dearly and hopes one day he will return.
