Slowly, the sound of crackles and pops created by the fire eating away at the vacant home, subsided as the ebony male walked away from the flames, his smile only illuminated by the red glow of the monster. Just knowing the fact that his own actions had created something so devious made him happy, though that was not the only reason for setting a house to it's doom. Every time a spark would fly from the wood frame of every home, it reminded him of who he was before, exactly what he had. Nova, oh how he missed her, yet he had sacrificed the love of his life just to end that of his own brother. Therefore, Kyoto was responsible for the death of two, only one was regretted. Guilt was eating him alive for the death of the ruby female, in fact, Ky wished he could end it all, cut the rope and watch his life fly away like a red balloon on a blue sky. A black balloon, actually. It was crazy ironic that his coat color, jet black, was also the color of charcoal, a very flammable substance, though the male himself was actually quite stoic throughout rings of flames. Which was exactly the reason for his wandering through burning buildings, just the thought sent shivers up his spine. Taking a deep inhalation of smokey air, the bull made his way towards the den he had learned to call his temporary home, one day he would not stand to stay in such a tiny, empty, little town, he was destined to be somewhere bigger, where he could preform in front of humans, not even the canines here were interested in his act. Dangerous, was all any of them ever said when they questioned his abilities as they happened to strut past the falling buildings as he hopped from the window of a top floor. It was all part of his training, Kyoto was a natural when it came to fire, sure he lived laughing in the face of danger, but he was not stupid. If Ky knew he couldn't make a jump, the fire would not be started in the first place, it was common sense. Emotions quickly transmitting from happiness to stone cold, his face straight, ears flattened, tail motionless besides the slight sway with his walk. Showing emotion was nothing of importance, in fact, emotions showed weakness in his eyes, something that would not be done. As far as love, it was just another word that was nothing but a sound, there was no feeling to tag along with it. Every female he messed around with, led them on to think it was something bigger, was nothing but a pretty face who was stupid enough to fall for his charming act and sexy looks. Yet his heart was off limits, actually, it was shattered with no one around to pick up the pieces. Though he was not looking for anyone to help him fix his heart, he was perfectly fine in living life like it already was. Sure, his past was behind him, but he was not looking to repair what happened before and start over, it was not that easy for Ky. Lifting his amber orbs to see a feminine red female seated in front of him, quite far in his opinion. Yes, she was gorgeous, thin, too thin actually. with a near blond shade of ruby and dainty for her breed which seemed to be something of pit bull or cane corso heritage, but that was not what caught him off guard. The female looked almost exactly like Nova, with the haunted hazel gaze that wandered off. Letting out the breath he had not yet noticed he had been keeping in the first place and taking a step forward in her direction, that was all it took, Kyoto had not been that far away in the first place, now he was right by her "Hello there, beautiful," he murmured with sweet low cords, a charming mingle to his tone as he sat, letting his eyes wander as they pleased. All he was doing was taking in her appearance and calculating how hard it would be to break her heart, this one seemed quite vulnerable, in fact she looked like she would disintegrate with the slightest of touch. Really, the fine vixen needed some meat on her bones before he would consider her good enough to let stick around for awhile.

you can so easily save me as much as you can so easily break me Reclusive, alone, solitary: all the things that the cinnamon colored girl wanted. Isolation from everyone, but mostly the feelings that were trapped inside of her. It seemed as if no matter where she went, who she was with, and what she was doing, this darkness followed her. Like a storm cloud, large in size and rich in its dark ebony color, constantly shading the young female from getting any light. However, today was a different feeling, a foreign emotion washed over the cane corso mix. As if a rainstorm had come over a dry patch of land and rejuvenated the grass underneath. An uplifting feeling was upon the golden girl, making her mood as golden as her fur, shining bright as a star glistening in the sky that draped over the town. Her movements reflected how she felt within, for she was moving quickly, excitedly, gracefully. Small paws danced around the town, weaving in and out of the city’s limits that she has yet to fully explored. She held her head up high, full of confidence and certainty, with her thin tail arched over her back. The feelings inside of her, she didn’t know what to call, she didn’t know why they were upon her, the emotions going from low to high for no apparent reason. Nothing in her life had changed, she was still Nina, she was still one out of six-teen other children, she was still that small, plain red and white dog that will always be hidden behind a long list of prettier looking sisters. But today, all that had disappeared, nothing about Ryland, Lady Marvela, or any other women that her father had seduced bothered her. Nothing about being repeatedly shoved aside for other canines whose wounds showed visibly instead of internally troubled her tonight. Something different was in the air, perhaps it was the changing weather, moving from dreadful coldness to warming sunlight. However, the instant mood change was something that Nina liked, and trying to find gratification in why it was happening was something she did not want to waste time thinking about. As time slipped away, and darkness seemed to grow darker, Nina traveled farther into the town. Her paws taking her to places where she has never been before, but the scent of other mafians lingered heavily in the air. The smell of her pack mates comforted the usually shy girl, and ultimately coasted her into continuing her journey. Coming from the forest into the town, a glowing light hovered around. An orange, flickering flame danced along the dark backdrop. The fire was relatively far away from where Nina was at in the town, but the dark skies against the bright colors of the inferno contrasted uniquely together. Eyes frozen upon the burning building that smoked from a distance, her pink nose twitched in irriation. Never before had she been around a fire so large, so the lingering fumes and vapors from the flames stung her youthful nostrils. Sneezing a few times, Nina’s eyes left the burning building to focus on the buildings around her. Sure, the small cane mix smelled profoundly of mafian descent, but she knew that there were enemies towards the pack, and taking ransom over a mafian princess would be a good way to destroy Ryland. Nina knew she needed to find shelter, the streets at night where no playground, and the night still had many hours within it. Scanning the area, her eyes fell upon a small looking building. The place was run down, but the door was wide open, and within only a few short limps over the road, Nina walked inside the Station. Relief flooded over the golden hued girl, soothing her anxiety of night walking hoodlums. Looking around, the building was nothing but one large room with multiple benches and chairs lined up along the walls. Eyes setting upon the closes bench which was directly in front of the entrance, fatigue sat upon her. Releasing a heavy sigh, her eye lids grew heavy. For once, she was tired from exhaustion instead of depression, and this was calming for Nina. Jumping up
on the wooden rectangle seat, she let out a huff again. Flopping down, the small dog had plenty of room to rest upon. Curling up, Nina placed her head on her paw, staring out the opening of the station. Green hazel eyes glistened in the gleaming moonlight that shined through the door. Not even two minutes later, a dark creature came trotting through the door. His black coat shined off the moonlight that cast over him, with deep amber eyes peering out from the ebony coat. Breathing in, Nina stood still, pressing her body into the wood that was underneath her, as if it was going to protect her from the black male. A small, juvenile growl escaped from her lips, as he moved closer. He smelled like burnt wood and ashes, which terrified and intrigued Nina at the same time. Her small body shook, sending fear along her fragile spine. He could so easily harm her, so easily kill the defenseless cane corso mix, and Nina would never have a chance. Gulping down pure terror, green eyes widen as Kyoto’s voice touched her ears. She stared at him with confusion. How could anyone say something like that to her? It was the first time she heard a male say anything intimate about her appearance, and Nina wasn‘t sure how to take the stranger‘s compliment. Secondly, why wasn’t the black collie tearing into the soft body of the retriever pup? Wasn’t all dark colored males who smelt like ashes suppose to be sinister? Lost, Nina knew there was a dumbfounded but terrified expression across her face. Terrified in what this mysterious black male wanted from her and dumbfounded that an older male such as himself thought that the small red dog was attractive. Ears prickled for more words to escape the black dog’s mouth, but instead they came from Nina. Who are you? Her words were soft, but still assertive for how Nina usually speaks. Hazel eyes dilated, turning into black saucers, hiding the green brown mixture that filled her irises. The young retriever mix didn’t know how to act, frozen with fear, confused by words, stuck on the bench looking like a deer caught in headlights.

For some randomized reason, this female seemed terrified of the ebony dog, it was unreasonable in his mind considering the fact the Kyoto was not quite reaching the large scale, nor was his body rippling with muscles. Though his bodice was entwined with thick muscular flesh, it did not show in his direct appearance, for it was hidden underneath the charcoal fur that shaded his sleek body. Expressionless guise hiding his shock well as his words were considered before spoken in low, melodic chords "Depends, I could be a sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare." Raising his chin the slightest of bit, a spark fluttering in his amber pools as his brain tried to detect all recognition between his dear Nova and this stranger who would be strange for very little time. Seating himself without question beside the tiny frame of the girl so similar to one he knew, if only it were true, however he knew it was not and there was going to be no fooling himself today, or any other day for that matter. Enjoying the silence that engulfed the pair of canines, nothing beat the death of words and other noises, what spoke the loudest was the serenity that came with sweet silence. Inhaling the intoxicating scent the female radiated, Ky grinned on the inside not wanting to show his happiness to this girl yet, this could be more than just another one night fling, but then again he had to keep in mind that it was not Nova just because she looked like her. Letting his breath loose and looking at the cracked, stained ceiling probably crawling with rodents and roaches of every species and size, it was disgusting, this place deserved to burn, therefore it was marked next on his list. Never would the ebony male even consider burning such a beautiful building as some of the most exquisite shops and homes in this dusty little town called Saddle Creek, unlike his own town which was lined with trash for houses. It was not exactly that they were ugly, just that the people did not have much money to invest in making their place of living look magnificent, nor did they really feel like putting the time and effort into at least trying was worth it. Letting his amber pools fall on the pretty thing again, taking in the few white splotches that truly defined her from the past. Deep in thought, the male was having a hard time deciding whether or not she was beginning to calm down with his presence thick in the air, so near to her that the vibrations of her petite bodice were radiating to his own. Perhaps if she would let him closer, there would be no reason to shake, for Kyoto would keep her warm, safe, and sound under his protection, to make sure no one broke her frail wings and kept her from flying. There’s so much darkness in the world But I see beauty in you She felt his amber graze fall over her, making her own honey glazed eyes drop down to the floor. I want you to be dreamingly realistic. Her tiny voice echoed out, as she picked up her head to look at the long ebony furred canine. The smell of burnt wood that came off his fur now seemed harmless to her, as she wanted to never stop smelling his wonderful scent. I’m Nina. she spoke softly, making the first introductions. The room filled with silence once more, which soothed her, making Nina’s small frame solid once more. Blinking, she watched as he moved closer, sipping in cool air, she breathed out heavily. Moving upwards, Nina’s graze moved to the open seat next to her. Have a seat? She asked, her volume a little more confident than before. She wasn’t going to let this stranger hurt her, nor did she want to fear the ebony plush male. She wanted to trust him, and something about the male made her open up quite easily. Scanning him over, he was older, a lot older, nearly three years older than the golden dog. But, somehow she was okay with this. She was okay with being around an adult male. Sighing, Nina moved closer towards Kyoto, her body now position to were her belly was touching the wood and her head rested on her small paw. Looking up at the male, she smiled, the thud of her tail wagging up against the wooden frame of the bench echoed out from the small silent room. You like silence too? She asked, trying to spark up
some sort of conversation between the two. She didn’t want to be that scared little girl that her family had always seen her, and besides the small frighten phase that came and went, Nina was feeling good on this dark night, and she wanted it to portray across to the older male. She didn’t want to be an inexperienced, sheltered little heir female that she truly was, and for now, she didn’t want him to know. Gulping down a hard lump that set in her throat, she knew that the scent of her pack lingered heavily off her own honey hued coat. If he asked who she was, would she lie? Denying everything that she knows, and is for this one male? Nina wasn’t sure, but she just hoped that situation would come up into conversation anytime soon, but the cane corso heir knew it was nearly inevitable for the shepherd male to ask about Nina’s whereabouts. Shutting down, Nina was now waiting for the returning responses of all her questions, quietly, she sat, with a happy grin covering her maw. Why was it such a bad thing to smile? And she was already liking this male. He had her shivering and frightened to smiling and talking. Who was this male to make the angel herself sing? Would he be the one to let the little yellow canary out of her cage? Freedom and tolerance to be who she wanted to be is all Nina wanted, and being a mafian heir, those goals weren’t easily attainable. However, as far as Nina was concerned, this meeting with this mysterious male was something heaven sent, and she wasn’t going to deny his presence, but in fact run with every inch that he gives her. You give me a feeling that I’ve never felt before And I think I deserve it

A tiny grin of reassurance split his lips as the ruby shaded female began to adjust to his scent and appearance, perhaps even his personality as well. In fact she was figuring him out with the face of the general enjoyance of serenity. Glancing over at the seat he was requested to sit in and nodding the slightest bit before hopping up with his muscled, agile frame using both breeds of his mixture to jump with ease and make himself perfectly comfortable at the exact spot he happened to land. Scanning the building for anything dangerous or harmful to either of hem, especially the girl who looked and acted as if she was vulnerable, like she would fall to pieces with the slightest breeze. Ky had automatically been attracted to her for almost that reason only, she was an easy target, if he could make this female feel safe in his protection, they would instantly become putty in his hands, though if they were little daddy's baby girls there was no chance of having a fun night. Also there was absolutely no chance he was forcing a girl to do what he wanted, sure he seemed to lack a soul but deep down lie not only a warm soul but a huge concience. Guilt would really eat him alive and most likely lead to something awful like suicide or some other form of mental break down and at this point it was the last thing the ebony male wanted. It sickened him at the mere thought that some canines of both genders actually took place in such a horrid action. If they could not get any attention from the opposite sex it was their own damn fault for noth being smooth enough to crack through the hard shell of the females, that did not mean they should get some action for themselves. Obviously there were those psycho's in the world who did not understand basic statistics of life. No means no, get it, got it, get over it. Easy as pie. No doubt in his mind the misappearance of words coming from his low vocal cords would answer her question and hopefully she was smart enough to understand, though no matter how much brain, he was still in for the whole game. Dumb girls were just easier to snatch into his heart So what, smart girls actually gave him challenge. Kyoto was a game taker and he would run with anything that was hard on him, the harder the game the better the player.
