Nynxaria took a deep whiff of the nice, fresh, clean air of spring. It was so beautiful. Flowers blooming, trees preparing to turn a crisp green in the summer, it was just beautiful. As she closed her eyes to soak up What the sun's rays were giving her, a shocking cold splash of melted snow hit Nynx like a big bucket at a water park. Groaning loudly, the Corgi shot open her brown eyes to the splash' s creator, seeing only her brindle friend, Plaid, dying of laughter on the ground. With a big eye roll, Nynx kept a straight face and began walking closer to their destination: Bubba's Restaurant. The tough small dog has heard spooky stories of this place, Panthers and bears eating whatever came in. She wasn't scared, for fear was a sign of weakness, and to be successful in this dog eat dog world, you have to be strong and always on your A Game. Following close after was the conceited, loyal, and fun Welsh Corgi, Plaid. Also known as Nynx's BFF. Her small paws lightly hit the ground as she strut walked after her odd yet fun friend. Nynx was quite opposite from Plaid. Plaid is loud, fun, and just doesn't care. While Nynxaria, on the other hand, cares about proving herself and being successful, never seeming to have fun. Although, Plaid will get the fun out of her every now and then.
The old door barely stood in place as the dynamic duo stood outside the store. With her raspy voice, squeaking every now and then, Plaid spoke in total confusion, tilting her head to the side. "And why are we here again, Oh Great and All Mighty?" Taking a strep forward, head still cocked to the side, the Brindle huffed, waiting for an oh-so clever response from her best friend. Blinking, a small sigh came from the other lass, as she turned her head back to look and speak to her friend properly. "You scared? And like I said, we're gonna show ourselves worthy of this!" "Then why didn't we just go to The Slaughter House," Plaid replied bAck quickly, with a slight bit of "smart-ass" in her tone. Smirking and not letting her friend reply, Small and Mighty strutted into the old place, chairs everywhere and old booths torn up, stuffing ripped out and on the floor. Nynxaria followed after now, but quickly jumped in front of Plaid, Nynx was not a.follower, never have, never will. She's gonna be a ruler one day, and she wasn't gonna give up now. "Wanna split up? First one to find an enemy or food wins, and they win a cheer from the looser, deal?" Plaid never backed down from a challenge, she loves them, because she knows, or thinks, she's going to win every time. Also, she loves attention, and cheering is amazing. Without a warning, Plaid spoke quickly, "ONE TWO THREE GO," and dashed off to the right, whilst Nynxaria covered the left. The bridle lass dashed around, scanning whatever she passed quickly, and then continued to run around, sniffing and scanning and sniffing and scanning.
Nynx took her time to file through everything as she slowly stalked around the restaurant. It did seem like quite a busy place before all of the humans left, seeing all of the fallen chairs and booths. Twitching her white ear with small dappled spots, Nynxaria shot her head towards a toppled over booth, one that would make great shelter. As she swiftly moved her head, water from earlier flew towards that direction, splattering and barely cleaning the dusty floors. Flattening her ears and lowering her eyes, the corgi crouched into an attack position, smirking at the thought that she won, she would earn the cheering, she would be the first to have fun in this old place, and there you go, boom goes the dynamite.

Being new around Saddle Creek had become nothing but a thing of the past, Nova had lived in the dainty, dusty little town for approximately a month which meant she was relatively used to the area. However, there was still those few places the German shepherd had to visit before being fully acquainted to the area, such as Bubba's Restaurant. Muscles rippling gently underneath the thick black sable coat, Nova made her way towards the latest self-assigned designation with little confidence in every tiny, hesitant step. Danger was always around, no matter where she went, or what she was doing. Considering the fact that Cato was still somewhere out there, searching specifically for Nova herself, the female was less assured than anyone else in the town as far as safety. Perhaps it would have been a better idea to bring along Nick, however it would only be a burden on his part, therefore the Russian girl would simply risk it. Nicholas had been so helpful, keeping her protected and out of harms way, though lately she had found herself wandering away to give him the alone time he seemed to want, but very much deserved. Sure, she was not quite happy with less security surrounding her, yet it was the only way the lass could figure out how to repay him for his kind actions.
Before Nov had came along it seemed to her that the brute had made himself quite comfortable with solitary days, for he was not the best when it came to even the slightest conversations, though neither was she. Being from a foreign country had made the transition from one place to another even harder for the dame, the language originally learned had to be nearly forgotten in order to understand the words of the locals, only her thick accent remained. As the only thing linking one piece to another, it was a bittersweet trait, for a rare accent in these parts would only be a dead giveaway to anyone who spoke to her. Letting the thin lids reveal the firey amber pools underneath as her breath mingled with the crisp spring air which replied with a loose breeze falling over her, cooling the nerves solid with tension. Pushing the creaky door inwards, jumping slightly as a near silent noise erupted from the rusty hinges. Trying to calm her racing heart while walking through the seemingly vacant building, merely dodging around the tables, bar stools and chairs covered with a thick layer of dust which faintly masked the heavy scent of humans. Ah, the two legged creatures with such bi-polar personalities, different from one another they were each unique in their own way, whether it be appearance or personality.
Tugging the distinct memories associated with the humans to the back of her mind in order to think clearly enough to move without running into anything, or anyone for that matter. Voices exploded in a series of laughs with only a few slight exchanges of words led her to think that perhaps now was not the best time to explore, only her mind decided to play tricks with her as it drove her body forward. Towards those who had been obviously having a good time. Preparing to defend herself if needed, the shepherd only let out a sigh of relief as she realized that she towered over not only one, but both of the other canines. Only coming to about her chest, both of the odd looking dogs would be easy to fight against if it would come to that, or out run for that matter, considering their legs were short and stubby. With a slight grin the vixen spoke "Hello strangers," seating herself as to not appear threatening to the ....friends? Sisters? Whatever they were, and slightly bowing her head "My name is Nova, who are you?" With tainted words, it may take a second for her vocabulary to sink into their brains, hence her eagerly waiting for a reply, but with only the greatest amount of patience.
