A black and white figure pranced happily through the, what once was, a busy mall, acting as if she were one of the many women who came upon this place to 'shop.' The dog paused, as she peered into the dark, old, mini-grocery store inside of the mall. A smirk planted upon her face, narrowing her eyes as her whole face lit up like the sun. Corona, a young and wild husky, snuck into the shop, acting like a secret agent. She was alone, or so she thought, of course. Staying low to the ground, Corona stalked into the poorly lit area. Remaining lights flickered dimly, and many shelves were knocked over, cans spread everywhere. It reminded her of an old episode of Corona the Hound; episode 25, to be exact. There had just been an earthquake, and the young pup dashed around a store to pull out civilians before the building crashed down. That memory is now lost in her twisted mind, under the files of the "To Forget" section, row 5, section 7. The recall made the husky sigh to herself, she was never super, there's nothing super about her, except that she thinks she's... super amazing.
With a slightly depressing chuckle, Corona continued her own childish adventure, squirming in between shelves, jumping over fallen signs, and dashing in between counters. Trying to imitate an announcer from her show, Corona spoke with a slightly deep male voice, or at least attempted to. "Don't change the channel, because it's time for Corona the Hound! Will Corona find her way out of this abandoned building, or is she trapped forever? Is she alone, or is there something slowly making its way towards her? Find out now on- CORONA THE HOUND!" After that little session of talking to herself, Rona started to hum her old theme song, which was just a very catchy tune. Taking a final look around, Corona smiled and closed her eyes, imagining she was there in the old studio, listening to her show on a radio, sitting on a soft rug in her cage. The radio was placed on top of the cage, since she had no room in her cage for possibly Great Danes, even though she was a puppy. It was filled with toys sent from fans, and food and water bowls, of course. Corona, still stuck in the memory, started shaking her rear in a circular motion, still humming the tune loudly with her piercing blue eyes shut.
Her paws lightly touched the dusty ground as she danced around, hopping and wiggling and jumping on things, singing the tune, all with her eyes closed. Of course, she opened her eyes for a moment to see where she was going...occasionally. The next thing Rona knew, she tripped over some can and fell right onto her stomach, along with a quick yelp. Rona turned onto her back, closing her eyes, and laughed. She was laughing so hard she had to take breathers, which just made her laugh more. That should be enough dancing for today.

Huffing as he barely missed a falling tree, the wind gusting around him as he moved swiftly through the small forested patch towards the mall, the building in which the trailed scent of his best friend lingered. However the weather was making his trek near impossible, and for a second the brute had to think of what he was doing all this for, Corona. Tatem was not very old, though it had been quite awhile ago that he had met the bi-colored Alaskan husky, they had instantly hit the meet and greet and now the boy was falling for her, literally. All in the few seconds his mind had wandered, as well as his feet over a branch causing the stoic male to tumble head over heals onto the ground scattered with leaves and branches. His fur was clumped together with damp mats and twigs and burs from the fall and also from weeks of traveling away from pack territory. If the boy would have stayed in the Mafia, he was more than sure his life would be nothing but a living hell away from the only true friend he had, and that was too much torture for the black and white male.
Grumbling as he stood Tate finally made his way up the front steps of the mall, trying to see through the feathered fur of his ears and cheeks blowing into his amber orbs. Each orange tainted void flashed the reflection of lightning just as he hopped through the opened glass window, looking around quickly just as a crash was heard from one of the higher levels. Quickly jogging up the first flight of stairs, instantly seeing the origin of the sound, a can rolling down the hall and a silhouetted figure waving their legs in the middle of the store. Rolling his eyes and swiveling his audits as the mixed breed walked towards the female with a smile, jumping on top of her "Hey Ronaroo, how are you?" With a chuckle he jumped off, tail wagging rapidly. Tatem was not one to be constantly happy, there were many things in the world that did nothing less than depress him, however Corona was one of those who just lit up his whole world which was why she was so goddamn important to him, it would be impossible to let go. It was a lie to say he did not love her, though the type of love was indescribable.
Staring into her icy blue gaze with nothing but happiness plastered on his face. Being the odd duck of the litter with marking unlike either of his parents, made him get quite a bit of attention in the family, though most of it was utter curiosity which meant it was nothing to be proud of, though perhaps that was a good thing. Now he wouldn't be recognized by the enemies of his father, nor would he have to speak of his relation to the embarrassing man whore. The actions of his father disturbed him in the least and he would not be compared to that sick man. Now forgetting his heritage to reunite with his only buddy, not able to speak as he watched her closely, almost inspecting her to ensure that she was truly okay.

** The male sniffed around, his gentle liver nose pressing against the tossed chestnut soil, letting out a silent sneeze when one of the particles traveled up his nasal canal, shaking his thick skull around, physique similar to that of his muscled father, but his coat more so leaning towards his mother. A sleek coat of tangerine upon ivory qualities was glinting beneath the summer sunlight of the early morning, the splotches of his pattern having grown more obvious with age, no more a solid blanket of copper, no, it was now broken up by many streams of alabaster. His ears flickered around, one semi-folded and the other torn half way down from a fight he had gotten into with one of the generals of the army Ryland had scrounged up due to the impending presence of a rival pack and the chances of warfare. This was what Zared had dreamed about all of his life, impressing his silver father with his leadership skills, though he knew that the man probably wouldn't even pay attention if his son was at the front leading and commanding the entire army. A sigh rippled through his dense bodice as he turned his head to nip at the forming scar on his shoulder, reaching from the blade down to his forearm from his spat with a cougar the other day, its claw having reached in rather deep, hell he would have been dead if it weren't for the rest of the hunting crew to come in and take it down as the Cane Corso mix hobbled away to tend to his wounds.
** Now he was trying to make up for his mess by searching for a nice plethora of meat for his pack, tail unmoving as always as he sniffed around, jaws gritting together tight as he tried to scope around for a deer or something, but all that was noticed by his nares was the lingering scent of dogs, and one stood out as he felt his heart beat rapidly. The mutt tried to rationalize that maybe it was his conscience missing his brother, the closest sibling he had, who had just up and left a few weeks ago, something that sent him spiraling down to the ground, but of course Zared picked the pieces back up and tried to continue life without that shoulder to lean on. He frowned as he waltzed a few steps forward, trying to ignore that odor that his mentality was probably making up, though a part of him wanted to investigate and see if it was true, check on Tatem and make sure he was safe, and with a final breath he assured himself that the prey wouldn't be going anywhere, he would make a quick kill on his way back. He also wanted to see what was one of the main things that had pulled his bi-colored brother away, there had to be some sort of influence in his decision, hopefully one that was worth it in the end. It led to a place that he wasn't very familiar with, but he knew he had been here a couple of times, on travels with Damian but that didn't soothe his nerves.
** He knew it was the mall, a gathering spot for all sorts of canines and shelter for all kinds of animals due to its spacious nature, vines growing in stores and making their conquest over the once man-made establishment, though the boy knew his sibling was in here due to the growing strength of the trail. It was obviously swamped over by the fragrances of a variety of strangers but another stood out powerfully, mingling with that of his kin, and it was a female, to which his ears lowered a bit, wondering if she was the reason that Tate had left, but he wouldn't judge until he met her, maybe this girlfriend made him happy, happier than he would have been in that pack that nearly everyone plotted against him in. That was when he saw a pair of figures, one on the ground and the other hovering over it, in the area that people had once called the food court, and as the soldier got closer, his breath hitched, seeing the ebony upon ivory stature of his brother. He was smiling down at a pretty Husky, definitely not colored like most Huskies that he knew, she seemed very unique, but what tore his heart in two was that his litter mate was actually flashing a genuine smile, something that he didn't see very often when they were younger in their own home. But somewhere within him he was glad that Tate was at peace now, it was better this way. Walking slowly as to not startle them the Retriever mix tried to pick the perfect words to explain his presence here, barely managing to choke out, “Tate?...”
