Set.
Name: Akita
Age: One year
Breed: Akita Inu
Gender: Female
Appearance:Akita has beautiful soft, fluffy tan and white fur. Perhaps not an animal best bred for Colorado, but here she is none the less, with a white muzzle speckled with tangerine-like colors, white chest, underbelly, legs and on the bottom of her tail. Three stripes of white appear on her otherwise tan ears to give her a unique feature. Her eyes are dark brown, tongue bright pink. She's a decent size for only a yearling, built well and muscled. She's a good fighter, and it usually is one of her first resolves.
Personality:To be honest, Akita has quite a foul temper, even after you've gotten to know her. She has the attitude of a sixteen-year-old and is a natural at cruel remarks. She'll say something hurtful without even thinking about it, and though later if she likes you she might apologize, first and foremost she is snappy, irritated, and untrusting. She gives off a bad first impression, but deep down she has a soft spot for her family and friends. Anyone outside of family and friends, however, has stepped on a firecracker- not to say her close ones are completely safe either. She's a tad nervous in new situations, and thus rarely ever goes near roads or structures, she prefers the mountainous areas and living in a dark, hidden away den like her wolf half naturally would do.
History:Akita was named after her breed by herself. Her mother wanted to give her a different name, and did, but the pup started calling herself Akita and convinced her family that consisted of herself, her sister and parents to call her Akita over time. Her parents died tragically in a find with a small family pack that Akita's family crossed pathes with, and she lost her sister as well in the bloody fight. The pup hid in a small crevice in some rocks, watching her family lose the fight and be killed by the ruthless parents and their four teenagers. They had out-numbered her mother and father and wanted the small territory that had a good amount of shade for themselves, and so they took it. After sneaking away, Akita ran for what seemed like days and found herself in an entirely new part of Colorado. Lost, alone, and without any family to continue to teach the nine month old pup how to survive on her own, she learned to observe and scavange, getting by however possible. She harbors the scars of her failures, but doesn't mind them being seen. She's still alive, so even though they show her mistakes, she did get past them. Her traumatic past is likely what leads to Akita's spit-fire behavior that is likely used to keep people at bay so she doesn't get close to anyone, too afraid to lose someone again.
