Name: Axel
Gender: Male
Age: Three years
Breed: Pit bull/German shepherd mix
Appearance: Axel is a black-and-tan pit bull/german shepherd mix, leaning more towards the pit bull in terms of appearance. He is well-built and strong, with a heavy jaw and developed musculature. His muzzle and ears are black while the rest of him is a cream/ginger color. He has short fur and bright orange eyes. He is also very tall, with a long tail and strong legs, and has some stunted fur growth where his collar used to be.
Personality: Axel is fairly aggressive when threatened and will not back down from a challenge, but his core is soft and happy. He loves to explore and have adventures and has a real knack for running and hunting. He much prefers people to other animals but has learned to warm up quite a bit in his time stuck with various other dogs. He sleeps and eats way more than average due to his high metabolism and always seems to be hungry or on the hunt for more food.
History: Axel was adopted as a very young puppy by a family without children and a passion for pit bulls. He was meant to replace the elderly and dying dog that they currently owned, and he did a good job of it. He guarded the home and even helped the man to hunt on occasion, fetching kills and occasionally making a catch of his own. He was well-fed and well-loved, or so he thought. When his humans left, he lived in denial for months and went crazy, thinking that something had taken them. Eventually he was forced to face the truth and dug himself out of his depression, learning to live on his own and learning how to deal with other dogs without fighting for the first time.
