carter stands at an exact 26 inches at the withers. she has a muscular build, crafted more for strength and endurance rather than speed and agility. but rather than a stocky, male-like stature, carter is gifted with a curvaceous bodice. every sway of her hips entices at least one or two males to follow their graceful movement. that quickly changes, though, when the female is provoked. then, she turns more intimidating, definitely using her muscular, heavy-boned structure to her advantage. the akita’s fur is tinted a deep brown-black hue around the whole of her face, half of her legs, most of her back and flanks, and her tail. the rest of her is dipped in a rich, snowy alabaster. the fluffy appendage the extends from her backside normally curls over her lower back, but sometimes droops between her bi-colored legs. carter’s eyes are liquid pools of honey. in dim lighting, a thick layer of shade covers over them, giving them a darker hue.
PERSONALITY
carter is most definitely the epitome of the american akita breed. usually, she is reserved and careful around non-threatening strangers, but faced with dangerous situations, she would turn irrational and as dangerous as any larger breed like the german shepherd or doberman. regarding close friends and family, the akita is very protective over them, sometimes reaching the point where it becomes quite annoying, though not too much. the femme is very possessive over what she owns, but not to the point of it being an unhealthy habit. she is almost cat-like when it comes to grooming, so she takes her sweet time in cleaning that double-coated pelt of hers. paired with young canines, terrie tends to be motherly and fussy around them. more often than not, she would be the one inviting them to play a game or two. carter is socially dominant, independent, and utterly stubborn to a fault. nobody, especially those of the same sex, will never be able to make her obey to their commands, unless it is more than necessary to do so. on rare days though, she can be spontaneous and childish.
HISTORY
the female was born and raised in saddle creek to a loving family. she, along with her mother, father, and sibling, were taken care of by a couple that lived in the small town. nothing much happened in her early months aside from the occasional adventures and troublemaking.
on her first year, the couple had too much in their hands, and so had sold carter’s mother and father to another human. only two of them remained. it didn’t really have much impact on the siblings.
years passed and the dust bowl had come. like the other dogs in saddle creek, they were left by their owners to survive in their own. carter’s sister, viva, had gone to another place in search of adventure whilst carter, until now, resides in saddle creek.
