Name:
Zafrina
Gender:
Female
Age:
2 Years
Breed:
Wuxi China Bengal Dog
Appearance:
Zafrina has beautiful russet gold fur that fades into a soft sienna tinted cream nearing her delicate paws. Her eyes are a rare sapphire blue with ice blue specks, genetically, a near impossibility. Soft ebony spots mark her shiny pelt with leopard-like markings. Her fur darkens as it approaches her ears, making them a soft red color. Zafrina has a moderate build, short, but sturdy. She always has her mouth spread into a grin, and she holds her head high, not in pride or in arrogance, but in joy. Her bright pink tongue often hangs from her jaw in care-free enthusiasm, and there is a mischievous gleam in her eyes. Her joy is catching, and her face shows it.
Personality:
As her joyous expression shows, Zafrina is never without a smile. She has a great attitude towards life, and she lives each day like it's her last. Her transparent honesty offends some, but to her many friends, it is a reassurance. She does what she wants, but not without taking others into account. She doesn't care what people think of her, but most like her anyway. She is lovable and buoyant, and others are drawn to her contagious love of life and everything else, for that matter.
History:
Zafrina's is a rare breed, and she was sold to work as a show dog. She hated it, hated the prancing, the tight collar, the humans cheering or booing or both. During her first show, she broke from her trainer and raced around the arena. She even knocked over the table with flowers and trophies. She was born a free spirit, and she knew it. She would dig under a fence and go exploring, sometimes she wouldn't be back for days, or even weeks. Her trainers would yell at her when she got back, and sometimes the woman would cry.
