*--now, out of her litter, delilah is certainly not the smallest or lightest, but she is the most delicate looking of her siblings. she takes on her father's willowy build, which will become much more apparent as she exits puphood. her limbs will be long and elegant, placing her above all of her siblings save her youngest brother, hugh. resting atop of these long pillars rests a streamline torso which leads to a sturdy neck and upon this neck rests a delicate skull.
now, delilah dearest takes her father's wolfy heritage into her appearance, lacking the black and white splotches of hugh and her younger sister, though she didn't quite catch his coloring like her older sibling. a mixture of both her parents resides in her coat and coloring. she's a wolfy little thing; she has the thick coat and wolfy face with the big, pricked teardrops upon the top of her crown, but she inherited her mama's coloring. a mixture of silver and charcoal and black and even a touch of brown in her scruff and around her legs makes up the lass' coat, each color layered upon the next in a mess of dark hues.
the most stand out thing about our little lady, though, is those big eyes of hers. inherited from her father like most of her appearance, her stargazers are blue. and not the teal of nicolae, oh no. the color might have the same name, but the shades couldn't be more different. while her daddy's portals are rich oceanic teal, delilah's are like frozen water. pale, icy blue stands out among the sea of dark shades, the color lightening extrodinarily as she ages out of the deep puppy blue.
smart && know it all you'd best get your sympathy hats out, for her family that is. delilah is extremely smart; she pays attention to even the most minute details in a manor only labeled as obsessive. she loves to flaunt her knowledge off to anyone who will stop to listen and in this case, this qualifies her as a grade-a know it all.
delicate && sensitive now, intelligance is just little delilah's shield against bullies. she's a sensitive little flower on the inside; her emotions are a whirlwind of self-loathing, fear, and self-conciousness. this little lady has very low self-esteem, which translates into her struggle with herself on a day to day basis.
low self esteem && self-concious now, these traits don't show their face around her family, but the moment she goes off on her own? she's a gonner. she's very unsure of herself without her siblings to back her up if she needs some help. this tends to make her appear shy and very quiet, when she's anything but.
talkative && family oriented around her family, delilah rarely shuts up. she loves to talk with them, about anything and everything. because of her lack of a father-figure in her life, she clings especially tightly to her mother and brother, not to say that she favors any of them over another...well, maybe her mother over her siblings, but that's it-promise!
out of it && OCD oh yes, poor little delli; sometimes she'll get so caught up with, well, anything that she'll forget the boundry of reality, which tends to have her going a little wonky around the edges. and the cause of all this, is her obsessive compulsive disorder. she analyzes everything because, and depending on what it is she's obsessing about, she's afraid she'll miss something and then one day, poof it'll be gone.
so in closing, delilah is a smarty pants who uses her smarts as a shield so no one can get close to the sensitive and insecure girl underneath who tends to be obsessive about everything. but, even with all her flaws, she's not all bad. she holds family close and when she feels comfortable in her own skin, she tends to be talkative and sometimes a little out of touch with reality.
her family consists of niamh who is her mother, nicolae who is her father, hugh who is her younger brother, a younger sister, and a older sister.
