Height: 24 inches at the shoulder
Weight: 63 lbs
Coat: Silky long, tri color
Eyes: Brown
State: Healthy
Even though Cali is a large boned puppy, her body begins to fade as that large puppy bones and fades into a beautiful long bodied border collie stance. She is a pretty dog of the Tri-color, a rarer color for Border Collie, and that's where her English Shepherd lines come in. She is a beautiful girl, both sides of the breed could claim her as their own, with the alert head, colors on her body, and her light, yet heavy bone structure. She has large paws, not very large yet medium sized for an Collie and a bit small for an English Shepherd. She still has bunches of falling puppy fluff, but when she matures enough and her fluff matures; she will have long, flowing silky fur that is kept nicely. Her face keeps her gorgeous look maintained well, and her dark eyes really give off her tan and white strip on her face. Her facial expressions are definitely unique to her own personality. Her tail gives a slight curl, not too strong, yet not too thin, it is loosely held, and only curls a bit at the end.

? [Loyal] ? [Excited] ? [Loving] ? [Sly] ? [Shy] ? [Jumpy] ? ?
Even though Cali is an independent little girl, she is still small and relies on her adults to take care of most of her situations. In her teen(canine) years, she will rebel and become a smart ass, leaning down to the sly girl she will be around her adult years. She has about two to three different personalities, her loving and sweet personality around her friends, parents and puppies. There is no word how to explain how much Calypso is addicted to puppies. She loves their ignorance, their fur and just how they act. She loves to pretend, to be little and young, she has a strange obsession; but no one has bothered to tell her. She does have a jumpy personality, since she is a puppy. When she matures, she will grow to be a little more immature than most canines get to when they reach adulthood, but that will change with chance and weeks, experiences. Calypso is a very social dog, she loves other males and females, but has that annoying-ish personality where she is a tom boy who loves hunting. She likes to hang around people who don't mind getting their paws dirty, she is an active canine who needs something to do 24/7.
Even though Calypso is jumpy and gets excited easily, as a teen in her puppy years she somehow reminds you of a preppy cheerleader girl who doesn't mind getting dirty. Sometimes she can be shy, or a ditz, but definitely craves attention from people and isn't afraid to be the center of attention. Most people give her what she wants because she's humorous and loving, yet a very pretty girl. She could be your dream girl, but first, you'd have to accept her crazy flaws.
She is an extremely smart girl, who some times doesn't know how, or what exactly to do with her gift from her smart mum. She knows a definite right from wrong, and really isn't a bad girl, just brave, daring and extremely jumpy and willing to please, whatever pleases her and you, she's crazy about it.

History:
Cali, or calypso as her mother called her, was born into a stable with her loyal, trustworthy parents and only two other siblings. Her parents were both regal herding dog champions, as well with perfect breed standard. Calli and her litter was actually an 'oops' litter. Her mother went into season and was supposed to be shipped off, but the other farm dog, and English shepherd named Jake, got ahold of her first. They both had well known and earned pedigrees, but Alicia, the border collie, was a family dog who liked to do social activities. Jake, on the other hand had a fiery temper and was attracted to his job because he was such an obsessive personality, he wasn't able to spend as much time with the puppies when they were first born.
Alicia was very hurt, and the care of the three puppies for a first time mother was extremely stressful. She dreaded feeding them, it was a weird experience; yet very natural and it just came to her.
As Cali and her siblings got older, they were training to herd sheep, cattle and do extreme obedience like her sides before them. When Cali was only 9 weeks old, they got lost, her and her siblings, trying to find a lost lamb. The lamb had been taken away into the woods behind the farm, and the puppies were taken; along with the lamb by the pack of kind coyotes. When the local farmers found their hide out pack lands, there was a huge fire and everyone evacuated. The coyotes split up and so did the pups. Never to be seen again.
