Landon--
Landon begin his journey out of his home. His long fluffy brown, black, and white fur settling down as he licked it clean of dust and other things in his fur. It had been months now sense his humans left him and now he was slowly got the idea that they were not to return to Saddle Creek but he was to stay here. It was his home after all, even if he had no one by his side. He could make friends, it couldn't be that hard .. right? His head turned slowly to the side and then to the other side. Town seemed empty today, which meant dogs weren't up yet. It was a good time for him to go for a jog. So he did, with a long walk to the old abandoned race track he finally made it. He went to the beginning of the track and took a few deep breaths, stretching out his legs he tilted his head and smiled. This is one thing he loved to do. Race.
Taking off, his rough pads hitting the ground one by one they landed. His fur blew back in the wind and his eyes were locked forward every now and then a tear running down his cheek from dirt or other dust products hitting his eyes. He made a sharp turn and continued down making quiet a few laps. His pink tongue lolled out of his mouth as he panted from the heat rays beaming down on his fur. It was perfect weather, though it could use a bit more breeze.
Skidding to a stop, he hung his head and took a few deep breaths as he lapped from a stream not far from the track for a few moments before returning. Then once more, he took off like lightning striking the sky. He ran quiet a few more laps, before skidding to a stop at the finish line when a shadow loomed over the top of the track. It was the shadow of a dog, so he turned his head and squinted his eyes through the sun to see who it was.
When he saw no one, he thought it was to be his imaginations. But it was better to be safe rather then sorry right? So he blinked and then sat down, allowing his pads to calm down from the burning sensation they were feeling. He stretched his back out some and then lay down completely. His dusty brown eyes traveled back up to where he saw the shadow and now he was pretty positive he saw a sure figure of a female. He narrowed his eyes straining to see her but saw nothing but the figure.
"Who are you?" he called out, his voice echoing through out the track grounds.

Bathsheba~ It was one of the warmest 'winter' Sheba had ever seen here in Saddle Creek. Of course she had only been here for a short while, just about a year or so maybe. Not even that long. She had always imagined herself being popular at this time, but apparently, for a young pretty female it was hard to get your love word out these days. She just wanted some friends, not even friends, mutual acquaintances who had the same thing she had, only better. Lust. Now, even after she 'sobered' out a little bit more, she could see the world -partly clearly from her point of view. She was heading towards the large circle shaped field, perhaps used in the older days for entertainment for the people and children, maybe they even brought their dogs along beside them. Even though she wasn't one for the social events, Bathsheba thought this one might be more.. interesting.
As she approached the building, Sheba got a whiff of another dog that was sweating masculinity in her presence, an athlete. Her head perked immediately, shoulders up and head lower, to show calm yet submission. She was not one to dominate her opponent, or partner. She ruffled her rip, her muscles rippled with excitement. She shook her tan, white and golden colored pelt, making her long, luxurious fur fly.
Sheba snuck in unseen by the beast, creeping around to tghe audience side of the dome. Her head low, haunches lower as she laid beside the shadowed stand, the bleachers looked old, like a roman pit for gladiators. It smelled horrid, but Sheba could bare it for a whole hour. Or so, while she learned about this canine. HE was very handsome and good looking, his build was definitely one of a strong breed, the Bernese Mountain Dog. "Hello there, doll. Is that the way you greet all the ladies? she chuckled, eyeing the brute intensely. The rough collie sighed, her beautiful pelt was being hidden in the shadows.
