Main street. It was told to him more times then he care to remember to be a gang driven place. Dominated by bloodshed for wasted territory that held no valuable attributes. It also served as a route for travels and... explorers. Much like himself, Hugh was tired of sitting in the heat all winter. The dry wind nipped at his nose, but it did little to cure the heat that fried the land under his paw pads that crushed the dead, yellowed grass. At a year, Hugh was already 34 in, slightly taller then his mother who was a staggering 33 in. They were big dogs, or at least... most of them were. By his side was his brother, his coat almost identical to his, though more speckled and spotted then the few splotches Hugh had, and the fur was the same density, but not as long as Hugh's. While Hugh's eyes were a chilling icy blue, Kael had his mother's amber eyes like fire burning, especially when that temper was turned up.
Hugh looked down at his older brother, his tongue lolling out and tail wagging behind him. It was hard to tell they were brother's if you went just on personality. While Hugh was flirty, easy going, and good humored, Kael seemed to always have a stick up his ass, or at least in Hugh's opinion. He never seemed to really care for the rest of his family, no matter how hard he, his siblings, and their mother tried, Kael didn't seem to give much of a shit on how much effort they put into getting to know him and love him. It hurt Hugh, he wanted someone to play with that could take more roughhousing and give as much roughhousing back. Niamh wouldn't use her full skills against him, seeing as Hugh would be on his back in five seconds and he didn't want to hurt his sisters by throwing his weight around. Kael just didn't seem to care much for the fact that Hugh was making an effort for him.
And so, that is why today, Hugh was dragging his brother along to meet her. A fair-furred beauty of collie and retriever origins. She had the body of a collie, slim and agile, with long blonde fur that flowed like a river of honey down her body. And she sounded just as sweet. Large brown eyes like two warm pools of milk chocolate that beckoned to you. She was a soften-spoken and flirtatious lady, eager to please. Although she was definitely no virgin in any sense, Hugh thought he may have just found his match.
Turning towards his brother, Hugh gave a bark of laughter, his boisterous deepening voice ringing against the empty walls of the towering brick buildings, "Do you always have to look so grumpy brother? Smile for once, it won't kill you!" He gave another laugh at his own joke, his happy aurora shinning against the darkening clouds, like a ray of sunshine still on Earth after the sun disappeared against the dark clouds that loomed in the distance.
