Draco was hiding from anyone to catch him. He was a player, a ladies man, he lived for the thrill they brought to his life- and yet somehow, he just wasn't a social man today. Even though he had thought about going to the lake, or padding around the town square where all the real canines were, he wasn't in the mood. He was tired, and yet every time he turned around a boost of energy hit him. Maybe it was the strong prey drive nestled in his stomach that needed to get free and loose; to run around and chase things. No. Draco was a narcissistic beast who thought strongly on his heritage and linage his forefathers brought to the table. It was a good thing when you though about it; he could join any pack- even the ones with blood restrictions. He was a free man though, he held no allegiance to anyone but himself. He was loyal for a time before his mind wandered off into other places. He would love to start his own gang, small pack with a few members just like himself, but then the responsibilities that went along with it..just..not Draco's thing.
He would loved to be looked upon as leader, alpha, the brave soldier. But it wasn'y his deal. It wasn't Draco's trademark. Besides. What if the pack members fell in love? The alpha always got first dibbs on ladies. That was his job. And then sooner or later, the packs would have a falling out because there would be too many offspring and not enough thrones. It would be tough. Draco didn't feel like doing anything though. It was cold, just enough to make his black fur itch. The breeze felt extremely icy, even when you have two thick layers of snow coat on, trying to rebuild, today wasn't his day. The large figure let out another lazy yawn, his canines glittering in the icy moon yet sunny sun rays, eyes squinting to keep up with the beat of his heart. He placed his head on his paws, took a heavy breath in and out. The trailer yard was okay, metal on metal, whatever warmth was left was just soaked up on everything in this place of Saddle Creek. It wasn't exactly the best place to keep the sun off your eyes, but Draco had found the perfect spot he could wiggle into, the warm space keeping him from freezing. The only time he would get out from his crawlspace was if he needed water. Damn it.
Draco cursed himself for bringing that term into his mind; now his body yearned for it. Water. The taste of the liquid to his hungry soul was replenishing, finally, some sense came into the boy. The felt-like soft ears bent down as he maneuvered his way out of the warming trap he had made for himself, back out and haunches low to the ground, scraping against the dirt ground. He shook his pelt, the sun now fully glaring down its tiny warmth against the icy breeze his fur, though he had shed, it was trying to grow back his winter coat. Draco paused, nose lifted to the scent of where he had just ventured from; the town where the lake was.. Water. Coolness.

White, compact paws quickly hit the frosty ground. Another painful breeze came by, sending another shiver up the female's spine. Her thick, double-layered coat was struggling to keep Octi warm. Almond eyes quickly looked about the scenery for some shelter. God, did Octavia loathe winter. Not only did she hate the harsh cold, the winds that felt like knives, and the struggle to find food, she also hated when another being said the word. It always seemed to trigger a flashback of her pup days, the days of the abuse as Octi would call it. Viola, though, seemed to take a liking to this word, for it activated her personality to take over Octavia's body and become the more dominant personality until one is to speak a trigger word again. Sleep also results in switching personalities, so naps aren't something common taken by Octavia .
Rustic ears, once pinned to her head, shot up quickly. The female paused with one paw up, her curled tail gently wagging with excitement. Another animal was present, she could hear it. Something moved in the corner of her eye, two large ears, it seemed like. Octavia slowly shifted her gaze, soon enough to get the glimpse of the white rabbit going back into its hole. All of the muscles in Octi's body tensed up as her back legs turned and sprung forward. Although the pads of her paws were numb from the cold, she felt the soft ears of the rabbit as it fell back into its hole. Tavia stuck her snout into the hole, the stench of rabbit everywhere. Quickly sticking her nose out she began to dig, but since the ground was hard from snow and ice, it was quite difficult to dig. Whatever, she thought to herself as the vixen continued to walk.
That's it? You're just going to give up, Viola asked? I'm not in the mood, Viola. You can talk to me once I find a place to get put of this stupid cold, Octavia replied harshly. A huge figure up ahead began to appear, then another, then another. Her trudge turned into a trot, and the trot turned into a run, for Octi knew what was up ahead. She almost fainted as she entered the trailer park, which was the best place to be, especially for winter. Octavia looked up, the helpless sun shining on her eyes. The lake, where she came from, was freezing and shady, so seeing this was a luxury for Octi.
Suddenly, something shook its fur. Worry began to slowly overcome the Shikoku, her body tensed up. She was in no mood to fight, and Tavia definitely didn't want to die. Trying not to show submission, Octavia trotted swiftly to a slightly shady spot, looking all around her, wondering if there was actually danger. As she walked by the first trailer, she her tail accidentally hit the side of the metallic home. As soon as it did, Tavia bolted, thinking that something grabbed her tail. It was stupid, but the female closed her eyes as she ran, not wanting to see danger. A whiff of dog came to her nose, the scent getting stronger and stronger before BAM. Octavia fell back and looked up the dog she just ran into. Shit. Great job Octi, Viola said sarcastically.
Words: 550 Muse: Blah, just wanted to try out Octi, and I've never heard of Draco so.. yay.
