Persona : Vortex has a snappy, rude personality. He isn't very giving, and rarely thanks anyone. This brute doesn't enjoy the company of others, and he isn't optomistic at all - he already knows what he'll turn out to be. He has alot of sarcasim in his tone. He won't show his affection to anyone. At his old age, he drags on and on about what happened during his life. If you ask him to stop telling the boring stories - well, you're in for a round of cussing.
Appearence : At his old age, Vortex has lost the spring in his step. His pelt is tattered, worn, and matted, while his ribs show from abandonment and neglect. This really is just a mark from his past, but he says it's from his "curse" (see history). His eyes are a deep cocoa brown that appears to be black. His teeth are worn and yellowed, while his fur is slightly greyed, looking the bright, rusty patches look faded.
History : At a young age, Vortex was born to a purebred family of Jack Russels. He was the runt of the litter, and was left on the streets to die. A young couple found him, and took him to their home, hoping he would make a great family pet. But, about 5 months later, a strong EF5 tornado destroyed the home and killed the young couple. Out of the rubble, a old woman found the puppy and named him Vortex, for he was strong enough to survive the tornado. But, a few years later, another EF5 tornado destroyed the home and killed the old lady. The old lady's daughter adopted Vortex, since she was the only one to know his name. But, as predicted, a strong EF5 tornado destroyed the house and killed the owner. Vortex now became agressive to anyone who tried to take him home, for he was worried that his "curse" would kill him. And so, Vortex has been wandering the streets ever since.
