P U C K E R
» you escape like a runaway train ;
GENDER: Female.
AGE: Three Years.
BREED: [Rough Collie] x [Smooth Collie]
DESIRED PACK: Loner. (May join a pack at some point.)
PHOTO LINK: Permission & Set.
APPEARANCE:
Pucker was built for speed and agility. Her build is lean and muscular, and, with the work she's done to gain the muscle mass, Puck has built up quite the endurance. Weighing in at fifty-three pounds and standing twenty-four inches at the withers, Puck is larger than your average stray. She has a round skull with a slender muzzle flowing from the center, and large ears that stand erect, with a slight fold at the top. Her ears are wide and curvy at the sides, making them quite different from the average collie. Her bodice is slim and lightly toned, with four long, muscled legs holding it up. Her tail is long and thick. She has an odd coat that's constantly changing, but usually, it is of medium length. When it is at medium and long length, her legs and tail are feathered, and she has very furry cheeks. During the summer, when it sheds considerably, it is very short and plush. In the late spring and summer, it is short. In the fall and early spring, it is of medium length. And, in the winter, it is long and flowing. Her coat is silver with charcoal patches and splotches, making up a pattern known as blue merle. The merle is covered on her lower back legs, her chest and mane, and her entire front legs. These areas are white with light tan points. The white only shows on her paws on her back legs, and all the way up to her elbows on her front legs. Around her muzzle and in dots above her eyes is the last area with tan on her body.

PERSONALITY:
♥ country strong ;Pucker is very true to her roots. She'd much rather spend her time working and being productive than just sitting down and watching everyone else do the job. She prefers wide open spaces, like a wide, open pasture, instead of busy streets.
♥ tomboy ;This collie is likely the last female that would be concerned with her looks, and how the catcallers see her. Her idea of a good time would be a wrestling match in the grass, or splashing through rain and mud puddles. When treated like a porcelain doll, Pucker will get annoyed very quickly, and while she'll put up with it for a bit, eventually her patience will wear thin, and she'll show just how far from fragile she really is.
♥ big heart ;If Pucker decides someone has a good heart, she's going to be very motherly toward them. She'll give the lonely a shoulder to lean on, show the depressed some happiness,
♥ competitive ;This collie has an incredibly competitive nature, and the desire to excel and prove her worth to all of those who look down on her is overpowering. She's a headstrong mutt, unable to walk away from a challenge, especially from one of those .
♥ intelligent ;Pucker's southern background and accent drive others to think of her as "some dumb hick", when, in reality, she's actually pretty bright. If given a moment to think it out, she can get herself out of some sticky situations with ease.
? thrill-seeker ;Pucker is always eager to have fun. She'll do any crazy stunt to get an adrenaline rush, and even if it's dangerous, she finds it hard to say no.
♥ hot-headed ;Puck isn't known for being patient with those she deems as evil. If a mutt is known to be a murderer, rapist, the local trouble maker, et cetera, she won't go easy on them. If she lets herself get worked up to a certain point of anger, she'll explode, and there's no telling what could happen. She's a tough cookie, and no matter what the gender, if someone gives her lip, she'll tell them like it is. She'll go against the biggest, baddest males around without a second thought.
♥ over-protective ;The femme's friends and family will often resent her at times when she gets too protective of them. She'll question their companions, demand they tell her where they're going, and so forth. If a mutt speaks out of line toward someone she cares for, she won't hesitate to tell them about it.
♥ rebellious ;If she's ordered around, Pucker will start to rebel. She'll do the exact opposite of what she's told, just to spite someone. Don't expect her to give in to your demands, or you'll be greatly disappointed.
» and my heart's beatin' like a steamboat ;dame: Belle
sire: Blue
siblings: six stillborn brothers.

A loving owner, a mother in pain, and a litter of still-borns were present in that little farmhouse one chilly February night. A burly farmer stroked the rough collie's head as she panted, fighting the pains of labor. "Almost there, girl." the man cooed, practically feeling his beloved female's pain. The youngest of her offspring was a blue merle female, and came in to the world happy and healthy. The mother fell in to an unnatural rest, one from which she would never awake.3 m o n t h s
The runt grew into a natural little cowgirl, and went by the name of Pucker. She ran around with a little red bandana as a four month old pup, so her owner, aka adopted father, wouldn't lose track of her as they worked the herds together. The farmer had agreed to raise a male Rough Collie named Bronco, just a few months older than Puck, thinking he'd be nice a companion for the lonely pup. He came from champion bloodlines, and when he grew older, he would be returning to his handler to take his father's place in the dog shows, and rake in the blue ribbons. Pucker was happy to have a dog her age around, and was nothing but friendly towards the male, who, in turn, treated her like she was worthless. He would sabotage her work, tell her she would go on to accomplish nothing in life, and tell her she would be "a whore, just like her mother." The shy young pup simply hung her head and took what he was saying with a heavy heart.5 m o n t h s
The emotional onslaught was unrelenting, and even progressed to something much worse. Where young, naive Pucker had unleashed her short life story to the boy, hoping to find solace in him, she received both physical and emotional abuse. She was upset that she was orphaned, and had never met her father, but Bronco, the uncaring mongrel he was, was there to use those facts against her, which made her feel even worse. To escape the beatings and verbal onslaughts, she would run off and hide. If she was lucky, she could make it to her favorite hiding place: just past the fence that surrounded the property and over the creek, where she could be alone and at peace in the beautiful scenery. The was a small stream with the clearest waters, and, if she was lucky, Puck could watch the minnows and box turtles swim about. It was a field with soft grasses and rolling hills, where she could be free to do whatever she pleased. As time went on, Pucker grew farther and farther apart from the farmer. He couldn't see what was happening right in front of him, so how much did he care for her? Obviously he was only in it for the money that he got for lodging "Jackson's Buckin' Bronco", the manipulative beast that made her life hell.7 m o n t h s
One day, after completing her rounds and eating what she could, Pucker went off to the placid brook she so adored. Now matured and becoming more outgoing and confident, she was steadily changing. When Bronco started to tease, she fired it right back at him, and her patience was growing thinner and thinner with his snarky attitude. She swore that the next time his teeth met her skin, he would regret it. Growing more and more adventurous, she started going further past the ranch's gates, sometimes not returning for multiple days. On one of these trips, she met a male who bore a striking resemblance to her. After questioning, it was revealed that he was her father. They talked constantly, and he even came to visit her at the farm at times. He would tell her stories of when he was young, of how he met and fell in love with her mother, and how crushed he was when she was forced to leave him. Puck loved hearing his stories, and before long, they were practically inseparable. He saw how miserable she looked at the farm, and was always pushing her to leave and live with him. She always politely declined, until the day she snapped.9 m o n t h s - 1 y e a r
It was an average day. Puck's father had just left, and she was in a great mood after having spoken with him. As barks rang out from her muscled bodice and her paws hit the ground with practiced precision around the woolly animals, Pucker worked to herd the final group of sheep into their pens. The farmer latched the gate, patted her head, and walked off, whistling. She had a weary smile on her face as she panted, not even hearing Bronco approach. Long story short, he tried to have his way with her, and when she refused, he tried to beat her once again. When she retaliated, things went horribly wrong.
The farmer turned and came running, screaming at the two to stop. They fought furiously, each opponent inflicting a great amount of damage toward one another. The man kicked at the battling collies until they separated, and, out of confusion, Pucker bit her owner. She froze, staring at him in shock. She whimpered and licked him, begging him for forgiveness. He simply yelled and chased her off. Afterwards, Puck met up with her father, and until she reached adulthood, she stayed with him. When she turned one year old, she thanked her father, tearfully said goodbye, and left the town that she grew up in. The young collie was desperate to say goodbye to her old life, and start anew, to see what the world might have in store for her.? ? ? ? ? ?
Since Pucker's arrival in Saddle Creek, she's learned a lot. From lustful nights with bad boys, losing friends, and even a few battles, her life has been full of surprises. Her latest escapades involved a reunion with an old friend, ending the life of an evil "mother", saving the lives of a litter of puppies, and mixed feelings about a certain retriever mix.
